Whenever I look back at my college career I'm amazed that I keep pushing through all the nonsense classes and getting on with it. There have been time where it seemed like I was in the worst place, and that nothing would be better. It was times like those I had to just take it a day at a time, and roll with what life threw my way. Focusing on the small joys and delights that came once a week in the form on online game night, or in a little treat for a test well done. It was rough, and it took awhile, but I'm nearly half way through it all. Just have to keep on keeping on.
Whether or not that can apply to what's going on in the big wide world with you is your call.
Quite the opposite; I felt like every day was part of... a large scheme. Was a bit overwhelming when struggling with school. Helped having stuff to look forward to. Not sure if this is a good comparison.
I missed that about grade school (mostly elementary). I took in every day at a time, I never really had to think that far ahead in life. Just behaved well, did my homework, watched Cartoon Network and Nick when I got home.
