As promised, it's time to talk about last night when I showed my mother an FiM episode for the first time! 

I got very giddy as I usually do whenever I watch an episode, however that meant that in the heat of the moment, I picked quite a random episode and it ended up being 'It's About Time' from Season Two.  I just asked my mother to name one of the Mane Six because I couldn't choose between them and then I'd pick an episode that was about the one said. She immediately said 'Twilight Sparkle' because I think that might've been the only name she knew. 

I picked 'It's About Time' just because of how zany it is so I knew we'd have a good laugh, we definitely did! Halfway through, I asked her what she thought of it and she said it was 'Quite crazy.'  In fact, she said that Twilight sounded identical to somepony she knew who also was very particular with scheduling.  When Applejack had a line, my mother asked if she was a boy!  And then when Pinkie did the 'Follow my lead' joke, she asked, 'Is she supposed to be a bit dumb?'  Slightly offended, I said 'No, she's Pinkie Pie.' 

It was a lot of fun. We really enjoyed watching it and my mother said 'I can see why like it so much. You were smiling the entire time.'  I probably could've picked a more group-centric episode where everypony has a stand-out moment so I think 'Dragonshy' or 'Winter Wrap-Up' could be good options. At least they all had a line in this one.  I asked would she be willing to watch a two-parter and she agreed so I'm certain that we'll do 'Return of Harmony' next.

Good morning everypony!  As I said last night, I'll be in school for a couple of hours today.  (Help!) But I'll do my best to keep on top of everything that happens here because I don't want to miss anything.  I'm not properly back until Monday so I can worry about scheduling then.  I hope you all have a great day! 

I didn't realise there were quite so many pictures of the Mane Six sleeping!  Also, guess what happened? My mother watched her first FiM episode with me!  She loves it and I'll talk all about it in my afternoon post tomorrow! 

Also also, tomorrow I'll be in school for a few hours as we settle in to new arrangements. I really don't know how long schools will be open for.  It's nice to be optimistic but it's really difficult to tell. I'm just seriously hoping I'll be okay.
