Hello, Hi and How do you do?
Hiya, it's been a while! I hope everyone is keeping well. I am doing pretty well on my end though my life seems to have taken the express train to crazy town and the brakes have failed!
I hope everyone is okay! Nice to see the fandom is alive and kicking, I can only apologise for my absence. I may not be active in the community anymore but my love for the show and the fans has not diminished. As always I want to be more active on here but it may not be the case. if anyone wants to connect on social media I would be more than happy to do that, would be nice to keep in touch with ya'll more regularly
Anyway, I'll sign off for now. Got a busy week ahead of me and I need as much energy as I can muster. Stay strong friends

^^ sorry I havent been on for the last couple of days. 
there's not much you can do when ur currently in lock-down and depression / frustration / boredom has got the best of me. 
the lock-down was supposed to end this week, but the case numbers have been going up ever since. I blame the airlines for this. 
I dont care if they are Australian citizens, they need to STOP THE PLANES. it's the only way we can keep COVID OUT of Australia. Yeah, they are the reason WHY we have COVID in NSW. At this point they dont deserve to be called Australian citizens / human beings. if anything, they are scum / the minority.
The good news is they've cut the amount of flights by 50%. IMO, it should be 90% instead of 50%.
I was able to pre-order a star wars figurine. that's bout it. And I got really lucky. now, only one person from ur household is allowed to go out and do the groceries / get the essentials / shop around. there's no browsing allowed, there's no carpooling (what that means is you cant have any passengers in the car. That means we cant go for a run in the Ford, which kinda sucks tbh) ...and you cant go more than 10 kilometres. Zing Pop Culture A.K.A the place I went to last friday is 11 kilometres. so...yeah. I was originally planning to get a figurine of Obi Wan Kenobi and it was supposed to arrive later in the afternoon, but they did not have it at the time when I came into the store. So, I pre-ordered Captain Rex. he was my back-up if Obi Wan Kenobi wasn't available...and yes, I could've pre-ordered that obi wan kenobi figurine several weeks ago, but I had my reasons. (1. the packaging. it's in a clam shell, which means if you open it, that's it. you've destroyed the packaging. that's why I like the regular packaging they have for the black series. once you're done playing around with the figurine, you can put it back in its box. with a clam shell, you cant do that. Oh, and I should point out that this is not the last we've seen of this figurine. they'll re-release it in the regular black series packaging sooner rather than later, so there's no reason why I should get so animated bout it + I was intending to get the archive wave ROTS Obi Wan Kenobi, not this one, and speaking of ROTS Obi Wan Kenobi, they're gonna release an updated version of that figurine in the near future. It'll probably have the body from AOTC and the head sculpt from ROTS. when that one comes out, I'll get two of those. 2. It's Clone Wars Obi Wan Kenobi. I want Obi Wan Kenobi from Revenge Of The Sith / A New Hope. And 3. It's limited to ONE per customer. If I was gonna buy another one, well...the next Zing Pop Culture store is roughly 40 mins away, and when you take the lockdown into consideration, yeah......I dont think so...) At this point, I can forget bout it. I dont want to put myself / my family at risk. At the very least, I'm getting a decent looking figure.
the main reason WHY I got this figure is cuz of the final season of the clone wars. yeah. I felt bad for captain rex. he did not want to kill Ahsoka. thank god she managed to remove the inhibitor chip from his brain. makes ya feel bad for the rest of the clones... (...and yes, I know he doesnt have that pauldron on the left side of his shoulder, but I know for a fact that they'll re-release the clone wars version of this figurine sooner rather than later, similar to what they did with Ahsoka where they released the rebels version first and the clones wars version a couple of months later. In the mean-time, I got this as a substitute)

...and the other reason is because he is a fan favourite. I definitely need to watch the series at some point. I remember watching the first couple of episodes on ABC3 a LONG time ago, but I stopped watching it cuz I fell out of my star wars phase at the time. Now, I'm thinking bout watching the Clone Wars / bad batch while I'm waiting for this lock-down to end.
Not only that, I'm a prequel fan-boy, so I have NO excuse. =P
....and speaking of star wars, they announced there's gonna be a new star wars anime coming out on nextflix in september...I think? correct me if I'm wrong.
honestly, I've got mixed feelings about this... It's called Star Wars: Visions, if anyone is curious. I feel as if disney is trying everything to fix the damage they caused with the sequel trilogy...
On the plus side, I will be able to watch the 24 Hours Of Spa without any interruptions. ^^ yeah, my uncles birthday was on the 31st of july and it was clashing with some of the sessions that were gonna take place on that weekend, so at least I've got that to look forward to. To me, the 24 hours of spa has the same vibe as the bathurst 1000. the cool thing is, it's only a couple of weeks away. aww yeah!!!
In the world of motorsport, IMSA has just announced LMH (Le Mans Hypercars) will be allowed to compete in the WeatherTech Sports Car Championship in 2023. that means we'll have Toyota, Glickenhaus, Peugeot and Ferrari go up against Porsche, Audi, BMW, Honda and Chevrolet for the overall win. this is just what the category needs in order to survive: more manufactures. at the moment, you have Mazda, Chevrolet and Honda. If anything, IMSA has been losing manufacturers in recent years. the reason WHY I'm posting this is because you can watch the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship LIVE and FREE, unlike WEC.
2022 - 2023 is gonna be a BIG year for motorsport. ^^
