I had always thought that seeing more sophisticated examples of combining magic and technology (as with, say, Tank's propeller) would be more interesting than just having fancier real-world technology. Though there's no reason we can't have both.

While the technological progression in Legend of Korra was nice to see, it is one of the reasons for why people rate it lower than TLA. I think seeing a fantasy world without technology is just more interesting for viewers, since it allows the magical aspects or in the case bending to play a more central role.

While some romance is fine, it would be better kept to later seasons and it shouldn't be the forefront of the show. Too much (unnecessary) romance can really spoil otherwise good shows. So some romance can be done well, but it's best kept to a minimum. 

I like the route they've taken with this. Hopefully the properly flesh out the lore, though I doubt this would be done in bits and pieces over the season(s). But I do agree that the Mane 6's vision of Equestria was too good to last forever, with all good things eventually passing, there would be a turn towards darkness. The interesting part is figuring out what exactly happened. 

Being an extreme introvert in previous years really hits you in your last few years of high . Previously I was fine on my own, but by senior and the year before I was extremely lonely and unable to make friends since people had already formed their friendship groups and I was apparently eccentric (I just struggle to fit in because I'm a terrible talker. Can never break the ice so most interpret me as a weird loner)

Not that there's anything wrong with being weird, but high schoolers especially seem to prefer people like them and shun people who are different.

Tbf I would love her as a villain. Her very nature could throw people off suspecting her. However for her to be a villain, she would need a deceitful side that i'm not sure she posseses

Creeps tend to walk out of Bennet ult even if I throw it down within their original spawn area. The same goes with the non-stationary bosses. You'll get dodged, then your fielded char is going to be eating damage and there's no chance you can heal them off the field. Maybe if you are running a shield comp. Me, I'd use Bennet as a walking lighter and a Broodmother ult for regisvines, or if you are running a hydro-cryo comp. So the logic is a bit different than when using someone like Barbara or Noelle. You use them if you need to heal a character. You use Bennet for the buff and so that you don't lose HP while attacking. If your character is already low for one reason or another you'll be having a hard time bringing them back up with Bennet if the enemy is still there throwing their shit at you. And you can still use Barbara the same way, but you can actually move around.

I don't actually have a main party. Use a different one for every dungeon. I purposefully didn't focus on a specific team so I win every time I roll my wishes Four star character- good. Four star weapon- good. Five star character- gooood! Trash to some is new content for me.

I guess that's fair. I think if you had someone to group enemies, such as Venti, that would be really helpful.

In terms of the having a hard time to bring someone back up with Bennet if they are already low and are being attacked, it's a trade-off. Barbara and Noelle have quite slow heals compared to Bennet. For example when in the field, the character heals up per second as opposed to Barbara's ring that heals you every few seconds. For Noelle, there's a 50% chance to heal per hit when you have your shield up, but because there's a chance, it isn;t as consistent as Bennet's heal. Furthermore for Noelle, that involved you attacking with her, which may lose you seconds of DPS that you're main damage dealer could have dealt. Bennet however can place down the field and can immediately be swapped out (unless it is Bennet himself that needs to heal). Bennet's heals are actually really good compared to other 4 star healers, but the fact that it only goes up to 70% health limits him.

It could destroy. It could be a flop. I'll have to farm leveling materials to find out which is part of the magic. I feel like a waifu trainer and I wanna be the very best like no one ever was. In other news, I've breached the AR45 barrier and I feel slowish again. Enemies are just a bit harder and my stamina is going down fast, but I was using Barbara a lot so there's that. Now that I have Sucrose I should probably test that double Anemo strat for mage carries.

Also, Xinyan can become quite useful both as support and carry. She's underrated.

 

Actually if you pull on every banner, getting every 4 star character as f2p is pretty within reach.

As for bennet, he's a great support because of the whole package. He heals quite a bit, attack buffs and is fire element so even building him DPS means that he'll be pretty strong. That being said, you would need decent gear from him to be an all-rounder. 

The field may seem limiting, but actually a lot of supports require you to stay within a field. But considering that a lot of the smaller enemies follow you while the larger enemies are pretty slow moving, I find that keeping people within the field isn;t actually that hard

It's to be expected from a gacha game, but what this game does well is have 4 star characters that can match the 5 stars even if you don;t have max 4 star constellations. So really you don;t need to do as many wishes as you may think.

People want max constellations but the way i see it, once you get max, any more duplicates would be wasted, so i would rather i got a couple of constellations on many characters as opposed to maxing out one or two. 

All of them perhaps. i like how they are all different to me so would love to have all of them as friends.

Ah makes sense. If I recall correctly, the 0-9 system doesn't really take mass into account, just surface temperature, so stars of the same sizes do commonly have slightly different classifications.

All in all, this is great. I look forwards to maybe hearing backstories of how planets formed in the way they did, or maybe information on habitable life?

I love how this solar system is really similar to our own. In fact had something been slightly different in the formation of our solar system, this may have been the result.

I also love how you have that ice giant much further out like the proposed "Nemesis" in our own solar system.

Quick question "Why a G4V star?" in particular?

As for the all british people are ugly, I certainly fit that, but I can;t say that "all" is correct. There's a lot of good looking people and besides, who really cares if we're all ugly?

Considering how a people from here that I've talked to on discord are way more NSFW about ponies than they seem, kinda made me want to distance myself from the fandom. Like ponies was for me an escape from reality, an alternative world to think about, and people's huge NSFW talk and art especially about it really puts you off. You already have people oversexualising things is real life, why continue with ponies as well? 

That being said, people can like what they want and I have no problem with people following their interests. But for me personally made me want to distance myself from other people of the fandom. 

I mostly came on due to lockdown and I must admit I've literally not touched this place in the last month or so. With the show finished, I've all but forgotten about mlp. 

I will deffo be back once generation 5 drops. Hopefully the forum can hold out till then
