    I’ve never been much I to reading, and I remember a time I used to laugh at people who hated movies because it didn’t go completely by the book.  I just thought it was a silly thing to get mad over. 
     

    Then I read A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson, and then I watched the movie when it came out...

    It was at that moment I understood everything, and never laughed at anyone for that again.

      yeah, books usually have MUCH more story then the movies from books. I don't read much either but I love Harry Potter and there definitly some bigger differences betwen books and movies

      Not that they're bad, but because I jsut want to remember the books.

    In my immediate area there’s like a couple of mom and pop gas stations but that’s it. In the town 10-15 minutes north of me there likes a Loves, Sprint Mart, Citgo, Murphy USA, Wal Mart, Kroger. Probably others I’m not thinking of.

    Woah, I just found this kind of buried in the dirt on my property.  Looked neat, so I kept it and washed it off real good.  

    Glad I did!  It has a date it was sealed on it and it’s 1-11-14 and I’m pretty  positive that’s not 2014 lol.  I mean I assume that’s a date. 

    This is cool. I love finding antique things!  I’m surprised it hasn’t broke being on the ground over 100 years! 
     

    Also it says Half Lint Liquid on the bottom.  All I can find online about it is antique half pint milk bottles.  Now I wonder what the heck a Lint is!

    Wish there was a way to block myself from seeing a certain sub-forum.  
     

    Really don’t want to see it, or be tempted to engage in it. 
     

    Even though I probably wouldn’t actually block myself from it anyway.  :adorkable:
     

    Anyways I started my adhd meds today.  He prescribed Adderall. 
     

    Of course it’s too early to tell if it’s right or not, but I really like the way it’s made me feel so far.  I’m more energetic, and seem more focused than normal.  It’s definitely boosted my sense of hope. 
     

    Hope all you guys are having a wonderful day, mine has been great so far.

      @Princess of Luck 🍀⚡🔥 I was about to PM you to discuss it lol till I learned it was a joke. But I’ll answer anyway lol.  In case someone else wants to know. 
       

      Adhd meds help depression only if your depression stems from the problems adhd burden you with.   For people without adhd, the meds may actually make you less focused and stuff.  
       

      @Treeglow Flicker  Lol I admit I had to look that up.  No wonder.  I’m not a Star Wars fan.  But yes that is accurate!

      The saving grace of this forum is that it has a good moderation team working behind the scenes so everything at least stays pretty calm.  
       

      Ive been on one forum that didn’t have much for moderation at all and let me tell you it was not pretty until they finally properly staffed the forum with mods.

    2020 has been an odd year for me. Not just the obvious, but also getting diagnosed with adhd. Another contender would be 2001. Mostly cause of 9/11 and after.

    Depression maybe. I dunno. That’s what people always say it is. I am depressed so maybe it’s true for me, but I just am not so sure about that. Like you material things just don’t appease me much at all. The world to me just feels very much more limited than people like to make it out to be. I do have a couple of friends though and they do make life a lot better, and less boring and lonely.

    I love Rainbow Dash. However, when I started the show I didn’t just dislike her, I hated her. I discovered the show right after having a fallout with a toxic friend who treated me like absolute garbage, and pushed me over the edge. Among many awful things this friend was arrogant, and intentionally put others down including me. Rainbow Dash reminded me of her, so I hated her cause of that. I started to loosen up about her after the episode where she took Scootaloo under her wing. It was then I decided that RD was nothing like that friend I had at all. She may be arrogant, and it can be annoying, but she’s still a very good pony despite it, to me.

    Man hearing about all these parents who track their kids through GPS on their phones and stuff makes me glad that stuff wasn’t a thing yet when I was a kid/teen. 
     

    Im glad I dodged that bullet. 
     

    I say as a kid who was Mr. goody two shoes who never did anything bad anyway. :P

    You’re a furry?? Me too! I’ve been one since technically 2002 since that’s when I started getting interested in anthro stuff. I didn’t consider myself one till 2012 though when I learned about the fandom and went to a convention. I have yet to even make a fursona though, lol. All I know is it’s gonna be an arctic fox whenever I get around to it if ever.

    I’ve been indifferent towards her for the most part. She pissed me off making RD a wing pony lol. Okay that’s just my bias toward RD talking, but really what got me is the fact she had to be convinced that a tornado is a bad choice to bust clouds. Who in the hell has to be convinced a tornado is bad??

    I’m an aircraft refueler. -What could make my job better is to follow my directions properly when I marshal you in so I’m not like -Also giving us a heads up when you want pulled out of a hangar. “Hey can you pull my plane out I’ll be there in 15 minutes” is not a heads up. If your plane is buried under several other planes you’ll end up having to wait. -Just hurry up and decide whether you want to beat weather coming in or not, and not waiting for the storm to be ten feet away before you decide you’re not going and want to be put in a hangar. That’s about all I can think of.
