    The tropical storm is gonna graze by me in the next day or so.  
     

    It’s always nice when the weather from a tropical storm (not hurricane!) makes its way up here.  It’s a nice break from the heat while it lasts. 
     

    I hate spring/summer.  Gets so dang humid and hot here.

      That tropical storm passed thru my area last night. No thunderstorms, but lots of rain and wind.

      Got about 4 inches of rain, which made both creeks rise to a depth of 5ft. Yeah, I keep measurements on that stuff  :twismile:

      It’s coming through here now.  Though they’re saying tornadoes are possible from like 1-5

      We got some tornadoes from it here in Florida too, not in my area but down in central Florida. No injuries but a lot of homes were damaged.

    A bit of a southern accent. Definitely not as strong as a lot of people around me though.

    I really don’t remember. I remember having dial up forever. Then in 2007 we finally got DSL ran to my house (we live in a rural area we are always last to see good internet) and it was great, until the internet got even more powerful like it is today. Then it sucked and my company just didn’t care enough to keep it maintained for us. Now I’m on satellite waiting for my power company to bring that fiber optic out here like they say they are.

    Someone I can have fun with, someone who accepts me, someone I could tell a secret to and never worry about them using it against me even if we stopped being friends, and stuff like that.

    Nope. MLP is my favorite. I don’t watch much tv and most shows just fail to captivate me like MLP did.

    I dunno if I really have any. I’m not the most ambitious person in the world. I guess I’d like to get out of this funk I’m always feeling, if even possible. But not much I can do when I really don’t like the world, or what it has to offer all that much.

    I took this about a year ago, but I think it’s pretty and will share it.  

    A pilot let me ride along in the cockpit with him to Texas and back.

    We had to go around a line of severe thunderstorms on the way.
     

    As someone who loves weather this is one of the coolest weather related things I’ve ever seen, yet it felt so ominous at the same time.

      Lol yeah my eyes were glued to it the whole time!

      I wish it had been nighttime.  The lightning would’ve been amazing.

    The day I don’t have a great time watching ponies would be the day hell freezes over. Ive been seeing a lot of negativity about the final seasons so it’s nice to hear some positives about it for once.

    My favorite air traffic controller died yesterday.  That kinda bums me out.  He seemed fine the day before. 
     

    Kinda scary how someone can just suddenly drop dead.

      Letting your feelings out is always good, Im all ears if you want to talk about it, if not, know that I will support you in any way possible.

      Death is hard to overcome...

    I loved this episode lol.  The way Rainbow had difficulty learning and felt dumb for not being able to do so was all too relatable. 
     

    I especially remember hating having to highlight things in school cause I could NEVER highlight the right things!  
     

    When I first watched this scene and Twilight took the book to see what she highlighted my mind went straight to “I bet she highlighted everything!” Lol. 
     

    Dash is one of those ponies that is half relatable to me and half not, but this is the one episode where I was 100% relatable with her for the entire thing.

    I think they could work. I’ve had friends before that weren’t much like me. Friendship is about being nice to each other, not being just like each other.
