Time for another emotional speech. I don't really know why I'm saying this but I've really been missing Friendship is Magic these last few days. I know it didn't even end a year ago and by the time I became a brony we already knew it was going to end, but I've really been missing it as of late.
I know it's something to do with the whole Pony Life monstrosity. Why did they make it? What did they expect the reaction to be? That in particular has made me miss FiM all the more. It's the fact that we're never going to see the Mane Six as we know them anymore that gets me. FiM is just a great way for me to escape from all the bad things going on in the world, because believe me, the news is hard to watch. I am glad there is still new material coming out. I made a post about the 'Color My World' app that looks fantastic and it's exactly what I love to see. I'm not saying that the joy isn't there anymore when I see it because it is more than ever, it's just that there are times when I miss it. That's all.
Does anypony think FiM will come back? Shows have done that before. Futurama, Scrubs, Evil Dead. They came back because fans missed them enough for the creators to realise, 'There is still more we can do.' No matter how final things may seem, they will find a way to come back.
Someday, just maybe we will see our six pony friends again...

I kinda understand how you feel. Re-watching it is what I also do. You would be surprised what you'll discover the second time! I didn't remember every funny or cute moment and when I saw them, it surprised me again! Also discovering lots of details in the background or so. Sometimes I would replay a scene ~10 times, because it was so good!
But I probably understand your mindset. You are sad, because there isn't new content of the thing we love. Maybe it's boring to rewatch it, because you already experienced it. Not sure if my answer can help you...but my solution was to be "independent". Instead of waiting for them to create new content (which will probably not happen, when it comes to generation 4), you can learn how to produce your own stuff. It's a lot of work, you might not enjoy this, but this a great way to spend more time with our beloved ponies! You could do researches, analyze episodes, make YouTube content, collect more merchandise, learn to draw (and draw yourself together with the ponies <3). Or write stories, change things of the main story you didn't like. Make animations! I know, it will not have the same feel, you'll miss the original voice actors and such. But maybe you can find something for you to enjoy. In the end, spending time with what you love, isn't it that what matters?
