    As promised, it's time to talk about last night when I showed my mother an FiM episode for the first time! :ph3ar:

    I got very giddy as I usually do whenever I watch an episode, however that meant that in the heat of the moment, I picked quite a random episode and it ended up being 'It's About Time' from Season Two. :sunbutt: I just asked my mother to name one of the Mane Six because I couldn't choose between them and then I'd pick an episode that was about the one said. She immediately said 'Twilight Sparkle' because I think that might've been the only name she knew. :o

    I picked 'It's About Time' just because of how zany it is so I knew we'd have a good laugh, we definitely did! Halfway through, I asked her what she thought of it and she said it was 'Quite crazy.' :squee: In fact, she said that Twilight sounded identical to somepony she knew who also was very particular with scheduling. :adorkable: When Applejack had a line, my mother asked if she was a boy! :mlp_wat: And then when Pinkie did the 'Follow my lead' joke, she asked, 'Is she supposed to be a bit dumb?' :mlp_okiedokieloki: Slightly offended, I said 'No, she's Pinkie Pie.' :mlp_pinkie:

    It was a lot of fun. We really enjoyed watching it and my mother said 'I can see why like it so much. You were smiling the entire time.' :-D I probably could've picked a more group-centric episode where everypony has a stand-out moment so I think 'Dragonshy' or 'Winter Wrap-Up' could be good options. At least they all had a line in this one. :kindness: I asked would she be willing to watch a two-parter and she agreed so I'm certain that we'll do 'Return of Harmony' next. :yay:

    I didn't realise there were quite so many pictures of the Mane Six sleeping! :laugh: Also, guess what happened? My mother watched her first FiM episode with me! :yay: She loves it and I'll talk all about it in my afternoon post tomorrow! :mlp_smug:

    Also also, tomorrow I'll be in school for a few hours as we settle in to new arrangements. I really don't know how long schools will be open for. :dry: It's nice to be optimistic but it's really difficult to tell. I'm just seriously hoping I'll be okay. :worry:

    I just watched the very first episode of FiM for the first time in Celestia knows how long and what was so amazing was the way that all those feelings that I had the first time I watched it came flowing back in. :mlp_pinkie:

    The feeling of being so enamoured by the whole thing and feeling the spark ignite when my favourite ponies came together for the first time. :wub: They could have never predicted how much they’d learn... :ticking:

      A few months ago I started watching the entire series again.  It had been since I first started watching the show 9 years ago since I had seen em.  It felt like watching it all over again.  
       

      Plus was nice getting back into ponies again after abruptly quitting after the movie came out.

    I keep repeatedly trying to talk my mother into watching the MLP Movie with me so she can see what it’s all about, but she doesn’t want to. :huh:

    She’s obsessed with watching Mamma Mia but for whatever reason, she doesn’t want to watch this one. :dry: At least our ponies can actually sing. :squee:

      I’m sure my mom would watch it with me.  She did watch a few episodes of the first season with my girlfriend and I.  She thought it was cute but not sure it was her thing lol.  I remember Winter Wrap Up and Dragonshy being a couple we watched.  She got a kick out of Fluttershy scaring the dragon with her stare.
