    Get ready because this is gonna get heavy! Something interesting happened over the last couple of days that somehow made me love MLP somehow even more than I ever have. Most of my family approves of the whole thing, apart from my sister. She hates whenever I bring it up and every time I make an inside joke, she sees through it. For example, she was going to a graduation and she said, 'How do I look?' I said, 'Great. You've mastered the Art of the Dress,' and then I giggled to myself and she knew immediately what I was referencing.

    Then, the question was asked. She said, 'You know, I don't get it. Why do you like it so much?' I said, 'Well, it's a beautiful show and it's taught me a lot. Remember what I went through last year and how it was the only thing that kept me above water?' She said, 'Yeah, but what's in it that you like so much?'

    ... :sealed:

    I was silent. I was left wondering, 'Yeah. Why? Why do I like it so much?' That evening, I chose to watch 'The Return of Harmony' and as it was playing, even though I had seen it many times before, this time I was consciously thinking about 'Why do I like it so much?' And as it was playing, all of a sudden, the sun came through the window having been raining for three days and it dawned on me. It's not because it's bright and colourful, it's not because the songs are amazing, it's not even because of the fact that it ran for nine years and is still relevant. It's because of the Mane Six themselves. :wub: It was something that I knew but didn't fully think about before. Why them? It's the unity, the camaraderie, the sheer magic that comes through every single time I see them or hear them together. :mlp_icwudt: The mere fact that I felt that they were really there speaks to me all the time and there's never a day when I'm not thinking about it. 

    It's really just amazing that they've had the impact that they've had on me and after being into it for so long, it was really the right time for me to realise what they actually have. As Twilight said, 'Friendship isn't always easy, but it's worth fighting for...' :ticking:

    I've just got word on all the very heavy restrictions that will be placed when school opens. :blink: I really don't think we'll be open for long, to be perfectly honest. :( Until this whole mess blows over, I don't know. :worry:

      @Bastian  Yep.  He died of a stroke at age 27 in 2014.   I don’t think it was known he died until 2016 when Equestriadaily was able to contact some people who knew him and confirmed he died.
