@Twilight Luna @Sparkly sparks I personally am not really trying to avoid spoilers. I know too much already. If this was G4 then I would definitely try to avoid spoilers. For me personally, I don’t mind if all of G5 gets spoiled. I of course won’t tell anypony what I’ve seen though because that wouldn’t be fair.

Truth be told hasbro doesnt really care about mlp is a lie.. because it gives them money. Yes they want money! If not they will end up firing a lot of people!

Mlp is always rushed they ony have like 20 mins for 1 episode.  And they try to avoid being episodic. Who knows..it might be more problematic and maybe they did try.... (Good example is season 3 to 9). And it was experimental.. now maybe gen 5 qould be better because they have experience now from gen 4.

Hasbro didn't split the fandom... The fandom split itself. 

And if the reason of the fall of mlp is season 3 then it wouldve ended in season 5 and didn't last till season 9. And if hasbro didn't really cared for the fandom they wouldn't have tried to please us adults and ignored us.

The mistake hasbro done is actually listened to the fandom... They should've learned that the fandom is as chaotic as pinkie pie and discord put together.

@Will Guide That's why it was an inside joke. My weekly game is about finding the photoshopped fake image, and when people find them all, I sometimes throw in joking little comments to make them second guess themselves. It hardly ever works, but it's fun none the less. Since you are able to spot the real deal so well, you should play along with the rest of us. 

@Will Guide It was from Made In Manehatten and the game was about guessing from a list of images from certain episodes which one (or two) was fake.  You should try them, they’re a load of fun!

Her actions brought back the Wendigos. Very symbol and force of nature that symbolizes cold distant and lack of friendship. Not to mention her actions almost destroyed all magic so that only she would have all the power.

I was pointing out that she didn't destroy friendship... She was using it. And the windigoes pop out when the 3 tribes are not  in unity....that is it's only reason the earth po ies still have friendship with their kind. If not then their species would've become solitary creatures. It wasn't cozy glows action... It was the 3 of their actions.

So season 8 cozy didn't bring out the windigigity.

Just removed magic.

Season 9 the 3 of them destroyed unity of the 3 tribes. Didn't really destroy friendship.

Brought out the windigigity.

Windigigity was sealed throught the bonds of the 3 tribes. The hearts warming soul( the fire heart thing)

Remove the bonds remove the seal.

So maybe one reason why there won't be a windigo on season 5 is the bonds where not broken but forgotten... And if maybe if a fight occurs on the tribes in season 5.... Which maybe has to do with the jewel heist... Might bring out the windigo....

Which is fair enough. One thing this emergency has shown is how many "key workers" aren't the big shots in suits getting stupid amounts to play golf, but those who actually produce, deliver, and supply goods to the rest of us.

Well, I would like to know what happen with the Mane 6, too, but it is called a "New Generation" after all, so it is to be expected that this new movie will be focusing on the new characters as opposed to the old, unless it's for a flashback or cameos.

We'll just have to wait and see for the G5 movie give us an answer.

It seems people want G5 to be distinct from G4, not just an "extension" of it. While I generally agree with this statement, I still like the idea of the Mane 6 returning, like the Pillars did in FiM. But they shouldn't play the main roles, they would be older, rarely appear on the screen, and act as mentors to the new generation.

Will you also be part of the movie, @TomDaBombMLP?

@FlutteringGuardian Thanks for that.  I get some of my facts from a random facts generator, so some are bound to be incorrect or outdated.

Could it possibly be one of those laws that people never talk about because no one upholds it? Many places in the world have laws like that.

Why would them becoming alicorns not make them special though?   They all played an instrumental role in keeping Equestria together.  It’s their specialness that earns the title for them in my opinion.   I’m not fully on board with the idea, but I still think they deserved more either way. 

I kind of expected that to happen (at least for the Mane 6) and wouldn't even have been against it. But I liked the finale the way it was, even if I'd have done a couple of things differently.

And poor Spike didn't get his wings...

I’m sure my mom would watch it with me.  She did watch a few episodes of the first season with my girlfriend and I.  She thought it was cute but not sure it was her thing lol.  I remember Winter Wrap Up and Dragonshy being a couple we watched.  She got a kick out of Fluttershy scaring the dragon with her stare. 
 

I may get her to watch it with me sometime.

I honestly don't think its that bad.

Having watched the first two episodes of Pony Life, it was actually quite entertaining and really wasn't that bad, and was a lot better than season 6, 8 and 9 of FIM imo, especially in terms of characterization.

I did watch the first 5 minutes as well and I feel more similar to how @TomDaBombMLP felt. But I don't think it will kill MLP, because the old stuff will stay the same way and not get lost of course. I made bad experiences with other companies before, things always change over time. I just appreciate the good things we already have. Sure, generation 5 has potential to become good in a more familiar way. But it's still always possible to get disappointed.

What I say now is not meant in a hateful way, just talking about my own taste. Pony Life has a different feel. It is loud and chaotic (annoying to me). It was more like an endurance test and I had to quit after 5 minutes. It's not the kind of MLP that made me become a brony. I don't like the style, the pace. Nothing, actually. It's something entirely else, for people with a different taste and humor.

Really, not hating or anything! It's just not for me and will not talking about or follow this Pony Life stuff in the future. I'm happy for everyone who enjoys it!
