    Demons and Devils in MLP

    Let me know if I missed any! 
    1) Demons
    This form possibly only exists in the human world, but we're also not sure if this form is entirely made up by the dark magic. Either way, this is G4's "canon" demon.

    2) Centaurs
    Unfortunately the only centaur we know of is Tirek, who honestly just looks like the demon! Black and red with long, dark horns and black eyes; he's as evil-looking as evil can be!

    3) Cerberus
    Although not demon-looking, Cerberus is probably the closest we'll get to an MLP equivalent of Satan or Hades, as it's possibly commanded to guard Tartarus prisoners.

    4) Sirens
    In some cases, Sirens are also classified as Succubi, which are female devils, but instead of doing the do with men, they use their voices to entrance them.

    5) Windigos
    These are based off of Wendigos, which are either seen as a demon, ghoul, spirit, or other supernatural being. 

    6) Rams
    Goats and rams demonic biblical figures, and although we've seen sheep, goats, etc in the show, there's no ram that's as big and smart as Grogar, not to mention he has magic!

    7) Minotaurs
    Similar to Centaurs, except Minotaurs are sometimes considered half-human half-devils. However, these "evil" creatures are friendly enough to live amongst ponies.

    8) Abada
    Okay, not actually devils, but there is one Abada with the name of Dust Devil. Although, they're swift, they're friendly!

    Vehicle-functional human objects?

    First blogpost, nice! This is before I rewatch the movies, so all this is entirely speculation.
    -
    One little thing that has been on my mind for a while, especially since I'm pretty sure this detail bothers others as well, is human objects present in the Cars universe. 
    Most of the human objects we've seen in Cars2, such as cups/glasses and instruments (seen below), are used by "Alza" forklifts.
    However, Alza forklifts seem to have two separate "forks" (or "tynes") that are able to move individually and bend/twist like human arms (they're even capable of folding their "arms"), while most other "pitties," granted can twist their forks and move them left/right individually, have the forks connected by a "carriage," so they are unable to move them up/down individually. While simply holding cups might be possible for pitties, tipping the cup to drink from it would be absurdly difficult, resorting to asking for a straw. Needless to say, playing instruments is downright impossible.
    But at least forklifts are able to grab and pick up objects. What about the usual four-wheeled cars? This miniscule detail is what started this whole blog.
    By rewatching the movies, I want to try and make headcanons for the cars and possibly redesign human objects to be functional/usable for them. No more confusion and car torment!

    My old "next gen" AU

    I say "old" because this AU was just made for fun and I didn't really plan on expanding it so it kind of got abandoned
    Anywho,
    This AU focuses on Princess Sugar Heart, or just Sugar, the daughter of Princess Flurry Heart and Pound Cake, 
    and Dark Decade and Twilight Century, offspring of Princess Twilight Sparkle and Flash Sentry.
    Sugar was born in the Crystal Empire, but was later moved to live with her father in Ponyville. However, she wanted nothing more but to be like her grandfather Shining Armor, leading the Royal Guard and protecting Equestria from danger. Once she was old enough, Sugar would have to begin her training in Canterlot. That was also where she would meet her cousins for the first time.
    Dark Decade (born with large wings) had already been training in the Royal Guard, and was pretty surprised to see his cousin rise in the ranks so quickly. Twilight Century, on the other hoof, was always anxious and difficult to talk to, so she couldn't really get along with Sugar. 
    The truth behind these siblings is that they grew up pretty distant from their parents, for the Princess of Friendship and Captain of the Royal Guard were too busy with their duties to care for them. Despite hopping from caregiver to caregiver, Decade and Twilight usually cared for each other themselves. Decade eventually joined the Royal Guard to try and get closer to his father, while Twilight continued to lock herself in her room.
    Desperate to socialize her cousin, Sugar would drag Twilight out of her room and practically force her to hang out. But no matter where they went or what Sugar tried to talk about, her cousin would either barely speak or complain. Over Time, Sugar would get so frustrated with Twilight's difficulty that she gradually expressed her frustrations on her.

    And this is pretty much where this AU abruptly ends. I haven't written anything further for this, and it became abandoned  However, I'm still keeping these OCs because I like how their designs turned out.
    Maybe one day I'll make a Next Gen AU that I like and will continue, but today is not that day

    very quick Discord headcanon

    Discord
    While we have ponies or other beings that supervise concepts like the Sun and the Moon, possibly Time and Nature, Discord oversees Chaos. But by "Chaos," Discord was meant to make things unique. Without flaws, there would be no reason for Love and Friendship. Over time, Discord became bored of Equestria, for ponies were a bit too understanding or content with the disorders of their timeline for him. Ergo, Discord brought forth more chaos (only to be sealed into a statue for thousands of years for disturbing the peace lol)

    Redesign notes + long headcanon story

    I wrote this on my phone from 3am to 4am

    Adding to previous status,
    with my art style I try to made the ponies' bodies just a tad bit more equine-like because I dislike how the canon style made them more cat-like after each generation, at least their faces did I get it's to make them cuter and more approachable or appropriate for smaller kids, but they're just barely ponies anymore. 
    I'm keeping the soft, rounder faces for normal ponies, but taller or skinnier ponies, like alicorns or stallions, will have snouts with various lengths and arches, as well as a visible jowls.
    Regarding unicorns (or any horned pony), all of their horns are slightly arched and have unique engravings in them. No reason, it just makes them look cooler and more magical lol. I also like just the concept of unicorns having longer tails so I added that miniscule trait too. But the gradient on horns and wings (which should usually be seen on alicorns) signifies whether that pony has a normal amount of magic or too much!

    Most unicorns have cool colors, while most earth ponies have warm colors. This is because unicorns have mostly lived around crystals (most of them study magic and spells so crystals are pretty important) and worked at night (school in the mornings sigh), while earth ponies lived in nature and worked during the day. Pegasi can come in various colors because they practically live in the sky and get an equal amount of sunlight and moonlight, but all that light also gives their colors a lighter shade!

    We all know that Celestia and Luna have watched over Equestria for thousands of years before Luna's transformation and banishment to the Moon. What caused Luna to rebel was when she realized that with the advancements in civilization, more ponies had houses and had places to rest and work more during the day, to build more houses so even more ponies could work, and so on. That wouldn't seem so bad if it didn't cause the ponies' pigments to change generation after generation. Less and less ponies had cool coat colors; more began to have warm coat colors; she believed that more ponies praised the Sun than her beautiful Moon. Why even bother to continue raising the Moon if nopony wished to appreciate it anymore? Poor Luna would eventually snap after years of arguing with her sister, Celestia, who told her over and over again to continue to her duty to raise the Moon... If she wanted the Moon to stay in the sky that badly, fine, it will stay in the sky. 
    After the transformation into Nightmare Moon, a battle between two sisters took place, similar to canon. However, Celestia had admitted defeat after being hopelessly clobbered by Nightmare Moon, and the dark queen fled. Afterwards, Equestria was engulfed in darkness for who knew how long. Celestia remained far too weak physically and emotionally to raise the Sun or attempt to lower the Moon. For a while, the only trace of light in the sky was the twinkling of stars and the white Moon's many phases. Luckily, Nightmare Moon's location was eventually found, but inside of an abandoned castle surrounded by Lunar Guards (mainly comprised of batponies and a few "Believers" (the names of practically cult members that worship the Moon and believe in eternal night)).
    Phew, this story is getting a bit long! 
    Although Celestia's recovery took forever, she was eventually confident enough to gather her trusted army and lead a raid into Nightmare Moon's domain. Once the castle raid began, Nightmare Moon merely laughed as she and her own guards fought with their surprise opponents, for she believed that her sister was still weak, still too internally shattered to have a fair battle. However, Celestia's health wasn't the only thing that was focused on for the past several Moon phases, but a spell for banishing one to the Moon was looked into in absolute secret. 
    Super lengthy story short, the spell was a success. After their queen had disappeared, the last Lunar Guards fled, and the Royal Guard rejoiced. But Celestia wasn't ready to announce their victory to Equestria just yet. Yet another wave of exhaustion had hit the princess, so the Moon would have to remain in the sky for a while longer.
    Somehow, her recovery took long enough for ponies to eventually become equal in cool and warm colors, and lots of them became used to working at night before the Sun was scheduled to finally ascend again. Thus, the ponies also eventually had various colors to their palettes, caused by warm ponies working at night and cool ponies working during the day. Once Luna (skipping the transformation back from Nightmare Moon because I'm getting lazy) returned to Equestria, one can imagine how speechless she was at the equal amount of appreciation ponies had towards every time of the day. Lastly, it obviously took a while for her to learn and understand where their gratefulness came from (perhaps from da magik of frendship hur dur!)

    A few young colts

    For a while I've been thinking of what some of the colt characters would do in their futures SO I'm going to write it all down instead of leaving the thoughts to rot in my brain 

    At first I thought of Featherweight and Pipsqueak. Both colts have bonded over the concept of going on adventures (Pip either earns that compass or "X marks the spot" cutie mark that artists usually headcanon him to have) and capturing the beautiful scenery. Once they have grown up, Pip moved back to Trottingham with Featherweight where they've gotten married and live in a quiet apartment room. The couple runs a blog where they talk about nice places they've been to and show photographs they've taken. Nowadays they take their photography and journalism jobs seriously, but they can still enjoy the places they've explored. Despite how Pip usually does the talking when the duo are being interviewed, Featherweight has written a whole book (which they often hint at to try and promote lol) about their pasts and adventures. In one interview they were asked what their most favorite places were. Pip would explain how it's pretty ironic how the earth pony's favorite was high up in the sky (they climbed a mountain that was higher and more risky than most tourist spots so a random village of kirin helped them up), and the pegasus' favorite was underground (basically Featherweight (Pip was left at home lol) was commissioned by Maud Pie to take pictures of her standing next to new stones and gems that she discovered before digging them out of a cave wall to study them. The sight and thought of such colorful jewels extremely deep underground just astonished him).
    Featherweight is a pretty skinny stallion that is only slightly taller than average. He is able to fly, but he has a sort of condition where he can't fly vertically for too long. Ponies who didn't know about the condition at first might think he's lazy for slowly hovering instead of zipping through the sky. 
    Pipsqueak is way shorter than the average stallion but he doesn't have dwarfism. He's just short lol. He often mentions A.K. Yearling, "one of the sweetest ponies you will ever meet," because sometimes she would often give them survival tips for places they want to explore, suggest spots that would make good photographs, and will even join them on expeditions occasionally.

    The other colt I thought about was Rumble. His family history is a bit similar to the Apple family's history; but instead of apple farming and mostly comprising of earth ponies, Rumble's family is mostly mares. On his mother's side, there's almost nothing but mares mares mares; there were a lot of mares even on his father's side. Thunderlane managed to have the appearance of an average stallion, but cute mare figures and faces have unfortunately passed down onto Rumble. Because of this, his snout remained rounded and he's only an inch taller than the average height of a mare. His appearance wouldn't stop him from becoming a Wonderbolt, but the reason why he's still as grumpy as he was as a foal is because he's not a Wonderbolt. It's like being a big fan of an MLB team and dreaming of being one of them then realizing that it was merely a dream and you continue to be a simple fan. Poor little Rumble!

    Next Gen Equestria AU

    There are 7 immortal rulers of Equestria...
    The Princesses of Harmony, Twilight Sparkle, monitors harmony in Equestria and raises the Sun, and Starlight Glimmer, monitors the disharmony in Equestria and raises the moon;
    The Crystal Princesses, the Princess of Love, Mi Amore Cadenza aka Cadence, and her daughter Flurry Heart, also known as the Winter Princess or the Princess of Life; 
    The Crystal Duke, Prince Sombra, also known as the Winter Prince or the Prince/Duke of Death;
    Discord, the Lord of Chaos;
    and Fluttershy, also known as Mother Nature (Discord transformed Fluttershy into a Dragonequus, an immortal chimera, not only because he couldn't bear the thought of her dying, but to also disrupt Harmony (instead of an even number of rulers, it is now odd)).

    Twilight Sparkle and Starlight Glimmer opened up a school that was available for every creature in Equestria, Glimmer-Sparkle School of Harmony, or GSS (which was originally titled Sparkle's School of Friendship until Starlight's alicorn transformation).
    A similar school was opened in the human dimension, founded by Sunset Shimmer and Sci-Twi, known as Shimmer-Sparkle University, or SSU, which, similar to GSS, teaches its students about the importance of the 6 Elements of Harmony and/or the history of Equestria.
    Ironically, the GSS and SSU school mascots are a heraldry style silhouette of (my) Discord (redesign). A little excerpt in a fake journal I wrote recently says "Chaos is what made everypony unique. Discord's powers helped restore Harmony. However, he's still a malicious chimera who's nearly unstoppable. Expelling Discord into Limbo temporarily until Harmony begins to falter was necessary."
    Basically they chose Discord as their mascot to show appreciation for his contributions to Harmony.




    Interesting, right?  Some things have noticeably been altered such as Twilight's princess role or her school's name if you couldn't tell.
    You may also have noticed "(my) Discord (redesign)." That's right, I'm redesigning all the characters I've listed (except for Sunset and Sci-Twi)  I want Twilight to look more like a Sun princess and Starlight like a Moon princess. Discord and Sombra will look more pleasing to the eye, and Cadence and Flurry will look more like mother and daughter.  Hooray! Let me know what y'all think so far

    Earth ponies 1

    These aren't in any order

    1) Coloratura/Countess

    Almost everything about this pony matches (except her cutiemark) and balances well.
    I love Coloratura's light coat and dark mane with saturated blueish highlights that match her eyes.
    As for Countess, I simply like her purple mane (wig)!

    2) Greenhoof Hooffield 

    I like all the designs of the Hooffields and McColts, but Greenhoof is my favorite.
    That dark red color really goes well with her long and puffy mane and tail.
    I don't know what else to say. I simply like this Hooffield's design!

    3) Pacific Glow

    It's Pinkie Pie with Airheads candy hair! 
    Not only do I like her hairstyle and color, but her outfit is interesting as well.
    She's a rave pony, so everything doesn't have to match, but I like her arm/legbands and cute star pins.
    (Yes, I know what the binkie means xD )

    4) Winter Lotus

    I didn't know about this pony until recently, but I love love love the color palette!! 
    The light pink coat, light teal long mane with almost white streaks, the light purple eyes...
    She's super pretty! Probably my favorite design out of this blog entry.

    Pegasi 1

    These are not in order.
    1) Lightning Dust and Sunshower Raindrops
     
    Why did I put these two together? It's simple: similar color palettes.
    While the opposite of orange is blue, those colors on these ponies are tinted and/or warmed.
    There's just something about these simple designs that I absolutely love.
    2) Thunderstruck

    This design is awesome. The slightly cooler hue of purple makes this pony seem more mature yet still spunky. Fitting for a teenager (lol).
    The yellow streak in her mane matches with her super cool cutiemark and gives her more personality if the crazy hairstyle won't.
    Her light blue eyes and dark pink eye shadow add to that seriousness.
    2) Scootaloo 

    To be honest, her design makes me nostalgic for the g3 Scootaloo.
    I know she isn't a pegasus in g3, but I wish to talk about her anyway xD Sorry, Scoots

    Unicorns 1

    These aren't in an any order. 
    1) Twilight Sparkle
      
    The more I look at Twilight's design, the more I like it.
    Darker colors, especially purple (which is more pleasing to the eye), may indicate seriousness or wisdom.
    The lighter streaks in her mane and tail is what makes this character design recognizable and complete.
    2) Sugar Belle
      
    Ah yes the face of my pfp. There's no doubt that I like this horse.
    Her curly, dark mane, bubblegum pink coat and darker pink eyes tells me that she's cute and fun to be around, but she knows when to be serious.
    I also like how her entire color palette matches her cutie mark (with little yellow sprinkles to balance it out)
    3) Fleur de Lis
      
    No doubt that Fleur is gorgeous. I love the very light pink mane colors, her purple eyes, and the fact that the shadows and outline of her coat are purple.
    I even like how her cutiemark has a light yellow color to balance things out.
    Don't be too fooled by her pretty appearance, for within her eyes is wisdom and pride.
    4) Flurry Heart (art by SpindleSpice)
      
    I know she's not a unicorn, but I'm not going to make an alicorn design blog entry.
    This design is super cute yet very fitting for the baby princess of the Crystal Empire.
    There's love, gentleness, playfulness, and wisdom radiating from the color palette.

    Regional Races

    Regional unicorns: Mistmane's kin
      
    They have pointed and curved horns while most Equestrian unicorns have straight and smoothed horns. 
     
    Regional pegasi: Elliptical wings. Example: Comparison between Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash's gen 5 "concept art"  
    Pinkie is shown to have elliptical wings, which are shorter or stubbier than most wing types.
     
    Regional earth ponies: Clydesdales. Example: Troubleshoes Clyde and/or Rockhoof
     
    They start off like any other young pony/stallion, except with a big head and hooves despite being lanky. Sudden and/or rapid growth spurt.

    Pegacorns: ponies of originally one race given a horn and wings.
    Alicorns: ponies born with both a horn and wings. 
    Both Pegacorns and Alicorns are immortal*, meaning they can live for more than thousands of years. Their height and magical/flowing hair depend on how powerful** they are, not by how long they live. One of the only differences between Alicorns and Pegacorns is what race they are born as and how they are able to retire***. When Pegacorns retire, they lose the wings and/or horn they were given, and they're able to age again. Alicorns, on the other hoof, are unable to lose their wings or horn**** and may never be able to permanently retire because of it.
    I headcanon that Celestia and Luna are Pegacorns. Celestia was born a unicorn, while Luna was born an earth pony. They were also unrelated, but in my full headcanon, Luna practically got adopted by Celestia's original family when they were mere fillies. Both Twilight and Cadence are also Pegacorns. So basically the entirety of Equestria was watched over by Pegacorns until Flurry Heart's birth. Finally, an Alicorn born after possibly millions of years. The poor baby doesn't know yet that she may be unable to retire like her mother and aunts. 
    Bonus Headcanon... So what about Twilight's friends and family? Since earth ponies have the longest lives and unicorns seem to maintain their youthful and majestic looks, Applejack and Rarity would live the longest out of their friends. Rainbow Dash and Pinkie, being as reckless as they were in the past, may pass the earliest. As for Fluttershy, she becomes immortal herself. What, how? I feel like Discord wouldn't dare to imagine Fluttershy going away, so he grants her a new Draconequus body. After she hesitated at first, the creatures of Equestria began to nickname her "Mother Nature." For Twilight's family, they don't become immortal in any way and they soon pass as well, including Shining Armour, much to everyone's dismay. 
     
    *Immortal: We (or at least I) don't know how long Alicorns and Pegacorns really live. It's possible that another difference between the two is that Alicorns live WAY longer than Pegacorns, but I'm not gonna jump too far into that. 
    **Powerful: Power can mean how vast or strong their magic is or their love is. But since Cadence isn't too tall, I don't know for sure if love is power. 
    ***Retire: Retiring from the throne, whether to give it away or to live a normal life.
    ****Alicorns are unable to lose their wings or horn: Unless they have the help of Discord-esque magic. However, I don't know how long said magic lasts or if it effects the alicorn's lifespan.

    In the magical world of MLP, anypony can be any shape and any color, right? Nope. Throughout the show, we could easily tell the differences between a mare and a stallion: mares are smaller and have round snouts, while stallions are bigger and have sharp snouts. But those aren't the only differences.
    We may have noticed that mostly bigger stallions have visible hooves. Why? It's obviously a genetic thing, but my theory is that they may either have shorter fur, or they're just so big that their coat doesn't fit them and so their hooves are exposed. Mares, on the other hand, never have visible hooves. They may be small enough that their hooves have no need to be exposed, or visible hooves depend on the pony's DNA (chromosomes).
    Differences don't stop there. We all love a good pretty pink pony, but we rarely ever see pink stallions. I believe that that's because having a pink coat is extremely rare, just like how male calico or tortoiseshell cats are extremely rare. The closest to a pink stallion would be if they had a slightly lighter red coat or a warm pale coat. It may take years of breeding red or pale stallions with red, pale or pink mares to produce a pink stallion.
    Examples of pink stallions include Andy Warhoof, Pink Drink, Rough Tumble (though he's more on the purple side), and Coloratura's Rocker.
    One of if not the only mare with visible hooves is Zecora (who I headcanon is a transwoman).

    Vocabulary: Hue means any shade or tint of a color; Tint means a lighter hue of a color; Shade means a darker hue of a color. 
     
    Earth ponies: The coat colors of most purebred earth ponies consists of mostly warm colors, such as red, orange, yellow, and brown, and various hues of green. The same applies to their eye colors. Their manes are usually straight or a little wavy, and as the ponies get older, their manes may turn gray faster. Luckily, their kin lives the longest out of Unicorns and Pegasi.
     
    Pegasi: The coat colors of a purebred pegasus mostly consist of tints of cool colors such as blue and green. Meanwhile, their usually soft and curly mane colors may include tints of warm colors such as pink and yellow. The eyes of pegasi, however, can be nearly any neon color of the rainbow.
     
    Unicorns: The usual coat color of these majestic ponies include any hue of white, pink, or purple. Their straight or wavy manes may prefer shades of black, blue, pink or purple. Their eyes are also various hues of blue, pink or purple, but mostly shades of said hues.
     
    Similarities: All three of the ponies' coat, mane and eye colors intended to camouflage themselves in their original habitats. Earth ponies mingle on the land and amongst the trees, pegasi mingle in the air and amongst the clouds, and unicorns mingle amongst crystals and... nobility? Unicorns are just too majestic!
     
    Bonus Headcanon: To pick a side on whether or not Pinkie Pie is related to the Apple family, I think she is... despite being mixed race. First things first, the Apple family is believed to be consisted of purebred earth ponies. Since I theorized that most earth ponies' coat and eye colors include orange/brown and that their manes gray faster, all that may sound familiar to Pinkie's father, Ingenious Rock. Unfortunately, his brown coat didn't get passed down to his daughters, but his purebred genes must've been so strong that said daughters turned out to be earth ponies as well. Pinkie's mother, Cloudy Quartz, on the other hoof, looks and sounds suspiciously similar to a pegasus. That's because I think that one of her parents must've been a pegasus themselves. As a result of having foals with an earth pony, Cloudy Quartz was born without wings. Further "proof" that Pinkie Pie is mixed race is the "fact" that Soarin is her cousin. Whether or not Pinkie is a third cousin twice removed from the Apple family, her close family is pretty confusing as well, and more secrets may be yet to be revealed...
