  1. I'll agree on that, but the Pokemon fanbase is one of the, if not the biggest fanbase. Things like that are pretty inevitable in one that large.
  2. I bet everyone that went to this topic, ctrl+F'd their name on every page. Anyways, some members I really admire would be... Nico for being an unbelievably helpful person. You guys have no idea how much he's contributed to this site and how much he dedicates to it. He's always been friendly, appreciating, and gives help without even being asked. He's one of the main reasons I came to love the fanbase so much in the first place and constantly inspires me with his graphic work and other material. Feld0, obviously for making the site and building it up to what it is today. I don't care if half of the thread mentions him, he deserves every bit of it for being the one of the most active administrators ever. He's always there to help and fix even the pettiest of problems to the best of his ability with ease and I deeply respect his intelligence, dedication, and appreciation of the community he holds. Another thing I love about him is his acceptance and consideration of ideas from others and his sense of humor. Not to mention all this while keeping up with the struggles of high school. Every single member of the Avatar and Signature team is an amazing contribute to the forum. They put in so much work and time into every detail of their work and inspire me in so many ways. They accept feedback and will do revisions gracefully and without the expectation or even desire of a single thing in return. Scootacool for being not only unbelievably kind and approaching, but also being very open minded and debatable in a kind and accepting manner. Although many of you have already mentioned him in praise of the light he brings to many of the topics in his massive walls of text, he tends to evaluate situations from all angles and enter them at the most loving and tolerating one possible. This guy works wonders to keep me going sometimes. I really wish I had the time to write descriptions to the rest of you guys, but here's a list of some more. Shankveld, Tom the Diamond, Lady Rarity Pony (LRP), FinestHour, ProjectRKA, Jokuc, Doctor XFizzle, Apple Bloom, Dragonshy, Flare, Shankveld, Arylett, Marco23p, Chigens, Big Macintosh (even though he's been gone forever), Swoop, Klopp, Leona, Shefira, NeverNevermore, Tich, Zoop, Neikos (thanks especially for the chrome extension), Jonke, and Pencils (you're really amazing) Also, am I the only one that would be really interested in what Feld0 would post on here?
  3. Ah, yes that does work, but I find it difficult and odd to control and it doesn't let you view the graph as a whole.
  4. Could the spacing between the numbers in the bar graph in the "Stats" section of your profile be adjusted? It's quite unreadable...
  5. The forum had a glitch jump from around 299,950 to 300,070 so I had to do a little unauthentic HTML editing, but here's a black-market screenie!
  6. I like your idea, but it would probably present a problem with the moderators we have on this forum. I don't know the exact rate of moderators to users, but I'm fairly positive it's less then 1:100. They also already have the workload of reading all content presented by the forums and regulating them, which is in the thousands by the day. Maybe if it was made with a tad less workload on the mods, say for regulating signatures, other members of the team have to approve of them, or for the topics, it could be "topics with X amount of replies from other members" could be worked out. Once again, thanks bunches for actually contributing and providing solutions to the restated problems. Another link added to the OP. I'll be waiting in a few hours! Seriously, you don't have to read the whole thing, skimming a page or two should be enough. Allot of replies to this are of decent length.
  7. I receive email notifications for my quoted posts and to the extent of my knowledge, it has never failed. In the situation that it does with regular notifications (which quite frankly, I have found to be quite unreliable in other areas in the past) it would be a fault with IP.Board.
  8. Thanks for the support, but you should probably read some of the controversy before going completely for the idea. Allot of possible problems have been presented by other readers and would need to be addressed before this proposal was considered further.

  9. This entire idea would most likely be rehashed so much it wouldn't be recognizable as it's former self in the off chance that it was implemented. By now It's really me just replying for the sake of sticking to my guns and as a formality, but I have gone and investigated around some forums that used these the past few days and none of them do seem to measure up to the quality of MLPForums, mainly because many of them have massive signature space and much more clutter then I could appreciate but who knows how it could be implemented here. Thank you for the feedback, and I especially appreciate the fact that you looked at the proposal as a general idea rather then picking apart individual pieces that were just made for example purposes as many have been doing. Bejeezus, I just recognized you were Nevermore, I've thought you were somepony else all this time.
  10. Lets not get over critical though. I've been a long term pokemon fan, and most the algorithms gotten from there are cracked as jokes similar to the "Pony Physics Presentation" deal. There have been a lot of the similar types of things in the brony fanbase, and the seriousness of a few members can't possible represent the "Rabidness" of a fanbase. Realistically, it's more the radical and spastic then the serious that lead to a fanbase becoming rabid primarily.
  11. That goes for contribution too. The background, winter theme, constant banners, and all the signatures and avatars you presented to us can't be forgotten.
  12. Organized a meetup with about 4 to 5 brony friends. Should be fun!
  13. Thanks for the compliment, but I just proved wrong one of his contentions. I actually agree a little bit with his overall idea. I've read some of his other posts and he has been receiving way more angered disapproval then he deserves and has been defending himself at least decently given what he's had to defend himself against. I would like to write a big wall of text on the subject like many others have, but I'm pretty tired right now. Regardless, I commend the Original Poster for his effort on putting an unpopular opinion out there in a non-offensive way and sticking with it. Sorry to seem like spamming images. I actually agree to some of your points and agree slightly to your entire debate. I didn't mean to say "still not as popular as my little pony" so bluntly either, but now that I relooked over my post, I can see how it could look like spam. I was just trying to show some other cartoon shows that had become memes thrown everywhere but not contributed to forming a fanbase around that cartoon. I do commend you on defending your stance over the unpopular opinion you stated in your original post and appreciate your work.
  14. I hope some of your stress is taken off your shoulders and that you still stay around and continue posting on the site. A quick question, will you still be designing the MLPForums banners ever week? Those are awesome.
  15. This reminds me of Kurtiss. Where'd that awesome little bugger go anyhow? I thought he said he'd still be an active member on the forums...
  16. I started up drawing ponies from scratch a few months ago, and now I'm fairly decent at it. Like others have said, drawing from reference is the best way to get to know pony anatomy and even tracing is very helpful when learning to draw them. If you use a tablet, I have a if your interested.
  17. Yea, the line stretching the hair to the left was actually supposed to be a color line, but ended up looking a bit off.
  18. I second the wat. Using a name like "Lady Gaga" on twitter would probably end up with you getting messaged that you need to change your name when it goes mainstream and Lady Gaga actually joins. Especially if you never did anything on twitter. No picture, no tweets or anything. If you were unresponsive, they would probably just manually change your name or remove you from the site. That's how I see it. You can't use somebody else's famous name and expect to be able to keep it over the actual famous person.
  19. Something I sketched up in World History today. This is my first attempt ever at a humanized pony, or even drawing human faces for that matter. Constructive criticism is appreciated! please click to expand
