      Dark and edgy. What, you mean like having a teacher point towards a cliff as if she instructing him to fly but the zoom out shot that there just a mountain of dead Pegasus bodies. To symbolize how the educational system fails to prepare their students to fly and then fills them with dreams of nothing but taking flight as soon as they exit the gates. That's all I got if you want dark and edgy.
