This, YES. Use Inkscape if you can, @TwistedShadow, that's your best bet for vectoring. I was looking into good programs, and Inkscape seems like one of the best.

Haha, I use ArtStudio on my iPad. I also occasionally use Adobe Ideas and SketchBook Express. Sadly I cannot use a tablet, as I do not have one, and I don't think my poor laptop could handle it. For photo editing, I'm stuck with an online image editor >.>

I'm going to try to keep up with the severe and current weather in the United States. So, let's start with my home state, since we just had a big storm ^^ Take a look at the time in the upper left hand corner. This radar screenshot was taken at 5:37 AM. Right now this looks like an average storm, right? Look at the area circled in dark blue. This shows the most severe section of the storm at the time. I will be using this shade of blue in the next photos to show severe weather areas. So, otherwise, this storm isn't so bad ^^ Yet. Keep an eye on the lower left quadrant of the screenshots. So now you can see that it's later, almost 8 AM. Again, I have circled the severe areas in dark blue, but now you can see a light blue circle as well. This shows where you will want to pay close attention to. This area is where things start to get really nasty. This is the final screenshot, leading up to just half an hour before I wrote this blog. You can see the severe areas again, and the light blue circle. Now, do you see how it looks like less? It looks like less of an issue, right? Wrong. Just because it's smaller, it's not weaker. In my opinion, this is the strongest area of the storm, and the dBZ scale shows it. I feel that this area was and still is the most likely area to spit out tornadoes. I have yet to check the records for any tornadoes that may have already happened this morning, and I will add an update if there are any. So.. Yeah. It's been a while since I posted art on these forums. This is the first time I've done something that looks this good. Though the shading could have been a little more dramatic, but this took me long enough as is. Constructive criticism, please?

Ooof! This is great! The only things I'm seeing that I think could be changed are that (1) the professor's tail should be a little bit longer, and (2) their eyes could be looking more directly at each other, Periwinkle's iris/pupil shifted a little lower, and the professor's closer to the bottom of the eye. Both OC's are well designed and crafted, I absolutely LOVE Periwinkle's outfit!

Sorry it's been so long guys, I've been sucked into Mweor. Anyways, I was watching some of the .mov's, and I noticed how they draw. They use the body outline for the outline of the whole pony. I felt the need to draw Twilight, but as a unicorn. So here. I used the purple highlight in her mane as the overall outline, similar to the .mov style of coloring. Enjoy. So yeah. Unicorn Twilight Sparkle is not amused. Also, she is fluffeh. Note: my program sucks and doesn't like HQ images. I apologize if this image murdered your computer monitor.
