  1. Looking back at it, here's what I liked about Magical Mystery Cure: Twilight becoming an Alicorn was a good twist. It could've been built-up better to feel more earned, but I liked how it happened, regardless. The storyline could've been fleshed out more, but I liked the overall premise it had, despite its flaws. The Mane 5 having their cutie marks switched and roles swapped was fun to watch. I like the songs in it with "True, True Friend" being my favorite, out of the bunch. So overall, Magical Mystery Cure isn't as bad as people say it is, in my opinion. It could've been better, but it was a decent season finale.
  2. Not bad. I think your headcanon is pretty good and could fit with the lore of MLP G5.
  3. I think this is a good way to look at it for MLP G5. Thanks for the answer.
  4. That's a good point. I think I can agree with you on that. One of the things I'm wondering after watching MLP: A New Generation Is What Happened To Twilight Sparkle, in between the series finale of FIM and A New Generation. Just to ask, what do you think, in your opinion, happened to Twilight and caused her to disappear? Do you think she died and lost her magic? Or do you think something different happened?
  5. You're welcome. One of the things I'm wondering after watching MLP: A New Generation Is What Happened To Twilight Sparkle, in between the series finale of FIM and A New Generation. Just to ask, what do you think happened to Twilight and caused her to disappear? Do you think she died? Or something different happened?
  6. Not a bad idea. Season 8 could've been the final Season instead and had Grogar as the main overarching villain for the final episodes. Would that have been better to see? Or you prefer a different way?
  7. Your ideas for what MLP G5 should be like sounds great. I consider these ideas to be the best take on it.
  8. Looking back at Friendship is Magic, before the release of MLP: A New Generation, it was a series that was flawed but very fun and heartwarming, and it did a great job at rejuvenating the MLP Franchise. However, if you have looked back at the show, what episodes and the forms of storytelling in the show would you change/rewrite? This question is meant to see what you would write different about Friendship is Magic, if you could.
  9. I think that would work very well, if written right. I personally wouldn't mind the show introducing new villains, since G4 had awesome ones like Chrysalis, Tirek, Nightmare Moon, formerly Discord, and etc., but as long as the writers introduce villains that are different and original from the antagonist of G4, and fit with the way G5 is built up.
  10. So My Little Pony: A New Generation had just come out, today on Netflix, and I do plan to watch it later because I feel excited about it. Before the release of MLP G5, I decided to rewatch Season 7 of MLP on Netflix to see if things have really aged well, in my eyes. I'll say that some episodes were pretty good, but a few things I didn't like the way Starlight Glimmer was written in it, and one particular thing I want to talk about and try to rewrite in Season 7 in MLP is the introduction of Starswirl The Bearded and The Pillars. in concept, I actually really like this idea of Equestria having a team of heroes that stem from Past Legends from before the events of Friendship is Magic and even them possibly being behind the creation of the Elements and Tree of Harmony. However, when I rewatched the Season finale storyline of Season 7, which was Part 1 and 2 of Shadow Play, I feel like the Pillars weren't utilized enough, in my opinion. So I'm going to attempt to do my own take on Rewriting the introduction of Starswirl The Bearded and The Pillars in FIM. A few changes that I'm going to make is that they would be introduced towards the finale of Season 6 instead, and Starlight Glimmer wouldn't be involved in it and would be doing other things like trying to make amends with others she wronged during her redemption arc. In case you are wondering about that aspect, this first part of my new rewrite is going to be connected to my take on Rewriting the redemption of Starlight Glimmer. You can read it here: https://mlpforums.com/topic/195150-rewriting-starlight-glimmers-redemption/?tab=comments#comment-5970302 So here is Part 1 of how I would introduce The Pillars and Starswirl The Bearded into the Season 6 finale of F.I.M: The Season 6 finale begins with Princess Twilight Sparkle and Spike presenting the journal they discovered at the end of the previous episode to Princess Celestia and Luna. Although a lot of it is in the language of Olde Ponish, Princess Celestia and especially Luna are familiar with the dialect as they were around when it was commonly used and a language their teacher, Starswirl the Bearded, often spoke even as it began to fade from Equestrian tongues. Much of the journal, even then is cryptic, but they feel nostalgic for their teacher and father figure’s old items and nature. The journal speaks of some site now remotely known as Ponhenge. Since they’re meeting with Thorax, Lord Ember, Prince Rutherford, and Gilda and a few other griffons as a presentative of Griffonstone, to discuss allegiances and all that, they ask Twilight Sparkle and Spike to investigate Ponhenge and see if they can figure out what interest Starswirl had in it. Twilight and Spike go to investigate and at first are disappointed to find nothing. However when Twilight walks into the center of Ponhenge, Spike then notices that the journal’s cover is glowing. Twilight Sparkle flips through the book to find a specific spell on a page that’s also glowing. Twilight begins reading it out loud and Spike notices the sky greying above them. He tries to tell her but she’s too wrapped up in reading to hear him. Unbeknownst to either of them, a strange small light appears, though to them its obscured by one of the pillars. As an Unintentional act, Twilight casts a spell which shoots into six beams that strike six stone pillars, which results in In varying flashes of magical lightning and sudden appearances from Starswirl the Bearded, Mage Meadowbrook, Rockhoof, Somnambula, Flash Magnus, and Mistmane. Twilight Sparkle is at first startled by this sudden occurrence, but then recognizes The iconic garb of The Wizard and asks him if he is who she thinks he is. Starswirl The Bearded confirms that he does not look too happy, and Starswirl demands to know why Twilight Sparkle set him and the others free. Flustered from a mix of emotions, Twilight is at a loss for words but Spike is quick to come to her defense, and he informed Starswirl The Bearded and The Pillars that Twilight didn’t know that just reading the spell from the book would activate it. Starswirl The Bearded collects himself and he gives a genuine apology for his outburst while explaining that the spell that sealed the six ponies away was meant to seal away something dangerous. Twilight Sparkle asks what it is, but Spike interrupts and points out that the skies are still blackening and crackling with dark magic. Starswirl points to it and then teleports all of them outside Ponhenge as a mass of shadows drops down from the sky and makes an impact. The shadowy mass takes form of a dark alicorn and proclaims with laughter that it is free, chiding Starswirl that his spell didn’t work and referring to him as simply an insect. Starswirl The Bearded says that the dark entity will not succeed in his plan and then fires a magic blast at it. But the shadow creature deflects with a blast of his own. The dark magic soon begins to overpower the magic of Starswirl The Bearded, and threatens to destroy him, but then Twilight and Spike intervene with the combination of Twilight's own magic and the ability to breathe fire from Spike himself, and it takes The Pony of Shadows by surprise enough to force his own dark magic back at him. The shadow monster growls in pain and attempts to make another strike towards both of them, but Twilight Sparkle is quicker to the draw and fires multiple blasts at the monster while flying around it and firing past it’s defenses. Spike lends his fire breath to prevent the power of the Pony of Shadows from consuming him, but compared to Twilight’s own magic, it's not as strong. Everypony seems to be agape at Twilight Sparkle’s ability to fly, but Starswirl The Bearded returns in the game and lends his own magic to Twilight Sparkle’s effort. The monster growls in frustration and leaves, promising them that they will pay, he’ll see to it. The Wizard attempts to go after the monster, claiming that they can’t let it escape, but collapses from exhaustion. Mage Meadowbrook says that he’s too weak at the moment and says that they’ve all been weakened by their time in limbo. As Twilight Sparkle approaches her historical idol for questioning and to see if he’s ok, the other ponies seem to gather around her taking special notice of her wings. Somnambula asks if she is a Princess, to which Twilight Sparkle replies with Yes. Starswirl The Bearded's eyes go a bit wide and asks if Twilight then knows his students, Princess Celestia and Luna, which Twilight and Spike also confirm, and afterward, they head off to see the Princesses. At Canterlot, Celestia and Luna are rolling their eyes as the representatives of the Yaks, Dragons, Changelings, and Griffons squabble amongst each other. Pinkie Pie and Spike are also there trying to keep Thorax and Rutherford calm, meanwhile one of the griffons swipes something off the table. During time time, Twilight bursts through the door with the others behind her. The Princesses are perturbed at being interrupted on top of all the petty arguments, but then they see who is with Twilight. Princess Celestia stands out of her seat in shock and surprise, only able to say her old mentor’s name, but Luna has a more excited approach and leaps off her seat and straight at Starswirl knocking him over with a hug. “Ughf-! It is wonderful to see you again-ughf-! Luna-!” Starswirl says, the wind knocked out of him. As Princess Luna realizes the uncouthness of her undignified reaction, she releases Starswirl from her grasp and picks herself off the floor, trying in vain to reclaim her dignity. Celestia approaches slowly, unable to believe what she’s seeing. She asks Starswirl if its really him, which he answers by telling her that he knew she always hated how Luna was able to do that one spell that Princess Celestia could never manage. Luna eyes her sister mischievously, but Celestia can only smile wide and embraces her old mentor in a hug of her own. Although Starswirl is also joyed by the reunion, he explains that there is time for hugging later and that they need to rally all available forces as Equestria is in danger. The representatives all say “Danger?!” in unison, but Luna quickly closes the doors so they’re not interrupted. Starswirl explains that long ago, a creature made of pure shadow came into Equestria from another world entirely. It’s intentions were just as dark as it’s own essence; to reopen the gateway between Equestria and his realm and let through his entire race and take over not just Equestria, but the entire world, every shadow monster possessing a pony as a host and transforming the land into a realm of pure Darkness. Starswirl tried to reason with the "Pony of Shadows", and he also talks about his experiences with Scorpan, but the Pony of Shadows barely even regarded Starswirl The Bearded as an individual and tried to reopen the gateway. He tried 3 times, each at the darkest points of Equestria, but during each time, Starswirl The Bearded and the other five Pillars kept fending him off. It is here that we learn that Starswirl The Bearded and the others were the original bearers of the Elements of Harmony, and those were primarily what they used to fight against him. It seemed that each time they used the Elements of Harmony, back in their day, they only seemed to make him stronger rather than sending him back to where he came from, turning him into stone, or whatever. After the third failed attempt, Starswirl decided that the Elements wouldn’t work and that he and the other bearers needed to resort to more drastic measures. Luring the monster to Ponhenge, they used a dark magic ritual to seal it away in limbo for eternity so that it can never be able to open the gateway. Starswirl The Bearded apologizes to Princess Celestia and Luna for not telling them why he disappeared, but says that he couldn’t risk anypony knowing what happened in case somepony with bad intentions decided to unleash the Pony of Shadows and bring about a sort of "Shadow-Geddon". He regrettably adds that his plan would have worked fully if he’d thought to also destroy his journal instead of leave it, if only he weren’t so preoccupied at the time. Nonetheless, the past is the past and all they can do is fight for the present and future. Starswirl The Bearded says the Pony of Shadows will try to open a gateway again in one of the four darkest points in Equestria, and that if they post teams at each point they can stop him from bringing about Shadow-Geddon. Princess Celestia tells Twilight to gather her other friends. Pinkie Pie appeared on the other side of the closed door. Princess Luna asks how Pinkie did it, but Pinkie Pie just shrugs. They will split up into teams of four; each team headed by either a princess or Starswirl as they’re the most powerful and able to fight off the Pony of Shadows long enough to get him to flee. Princess Celestia remembers the representatives in the other room and asks Spike if he’ll be ok. Spike says that he will, but Celestia isn’t convinced, yet Spike continues to boast confidence and tells them to go and save the world while he holds down the fort. Once Princess Celestia closes the door, Spike sags into his seat as the arguments begin anew. They teleport to the Friendship Castle at Twilight’s suggestion, which can makes sense, since all her friends live in Ponyville, and Twilight happily explains to her idol how the Castle came into existence, Chest of Harmony and Rainbow Powers and all. However at this Starswirl is skeptical, even at the sight of the Cutie Map, convinced its just some enchanted crystals Twilight is trying to build up to impress him. Some of the Old Bearers also scoff at the very idea of "Rainbow Power" and how silly it sounds. Princess Celestia and Luna try to confirm this, but when Starswirl asks if they’ve seen the castle grow, to which they have to admit that they haven’t. Just then the rest of The Mane 6 walk in the Map Room, and they were gathered by Pinkie Pie. Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Applejack gasp at the sight of their own legendary idols. Upon each own addressing their respective idol, and Fluttershy recognizing Mage Meadowbrook, Pinkie Pie squints and then recognizes Somnambula from her and Rainbow’s Daring Do adventure. Flash Magnus approaches them and asks if they are the new Bearers to the Elements of Harmony, to which Rainbow Dash proudly confirm. Applejack notices that Flash Magnus said "New" and asks for clarification, to which Pinkie Pie tells them that that is what she was trying to tell them all on the way to the castle. At this revelation, Rainbow Dash feels excited that her foalhood idol, which is the awesome dragon fighting Pegasus and also had of the same Element as her, which is Loyalty. However, Flash Magnus was feeling a little confused by this, asking if she means "Element of Bravery". Applejack says that Rainbow Dash indeed means what she means and then says that she is the Element of Honesty, and then Pinkie Pie introduces her friends to the Old Bearers, while including the Elements to their names. However, while Starswirl The Bearded showed mutual respect for The Mane 6 & their good deeds, he says that that is incorrect and that the Elements of The Pillars are Hope not Laughter, Bravery not Loyalty, Strength not Honesty, Beauty not Generosity, Healing not Kindness, and Sorcery not Magic. The Mane-6 are perplexed by this and turn to the Princesses, but Starswirl gets back to the point and shows them where in Equestria the three of the four darkest points are. They then are divided up into three teams where Princess Celestia will protect Pinkie Pie, Somnambula, Applejack, and Rockhoof while Princess Luna is tasked to protect Rarity, Mistmane, Fluttershy and Mage Meadowbrook, and lastly, Starswirl The Bearded is tasked to protect Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Spike, and Flash Magnus. Shining Armor and his group of Royal Guards are tasked with staying in the castle and figuring out where the fourth darkest point in Equestria is. They all break for their locations, with Starswirl The Bearded telling Twilight Sparkle that he hopes they will be in time, otherwise nothing will be safe when Shadow-Geddon arrives, and the next scene has the screen zooming into Starswirl’s eye, which reveals his vision of what happens when the Pony of Shadows succeeds. That is the end of Part 1. So what do you guys think of this first Part? Part 2 will come in the future.
  11. Alright, then. It's a rewrite of Magical Mystery Cure that I found. You can read it here: https://mlpforums.com/topic/191748-my-rewritten-version-of-magical-mystery-cure/
  12. Not bad. Your take of making Starlight remain as a villain looks interesting. You're welcome. Also, I got an idea for an alternate ending to MLP's Magical Mystery Cure episode if you wanna hear it.
  13. That's not A bad idea. I think that would've worked, but did you like my take on Starlight Glimmer's redemption, at least?
  14. I 100% agree with your criticisms of Starlight, and I like how you did your own take of fixing Starlight's redemption. I think it's pretty good.
  15. During the early days of MLP: FIM when Seasons 1 to 4 came out, I enjoyed watching the show despite some of its flaws. When Starlight Glimmer first appeared during Season 5, I thought that she was A very cool villain and the whole concept of equality made me excited to see what she'd do as a new villain. However, when Starlight got redeemed during The Season 5 finale...I wasn't the biggest fan of it. Now, Starlight Glimmer's redemption received very divisive reactions, from what I remember. Some Fans of MLP liked Starlight being an addition to The Mane 6, and some people hated how Starlight was forgiven very easily because of how sick her actions are. I can understand where both sides are coming from, and I'm sort of in the middle with the divisive reactions. On one hand, Starlight did have a few adorable moments post-redemption, but I wouldn't be lying if I said that her redemption wasn't written that well in my opinion to make me get invested in her. However, I'm not gonna waste my time ranting about it, since I've seen enough valid arguments about Starlight's redemption, and I'm gonna do my own take on how Starlight's redemption could've worked: Season 5 Finale (The Cutie Remark Part 1 and 2) Part 1 and 2 of The Cutie Remark were pretty great and entertaining to watch, but I think the way that Starlight Glimmer's motivation was revealed and how her redemption was handled kind of ruined Part 2, and the show itself, In general, going forward after that. So most aspects of The Cutie Remark Part 1 and 2 would remain the same, but what would change for Starlight's redemption is when she reveals her true motivation to Twilight Sparkle and Spike during their battle through time. What would happen instead is that Starlight reveals to Twilight and Spike that she used to have A lot of friends during her childhood growing up, but when Sunburst and her friends got their cutie marks, except for herself, it leads to them moving away and Starlight was left on her own. Starlight started to get bullied by others due to her being Blank-Flanked and not getting her Cutie Mark, and it leads to her starting to study magic obsessively and teach herself everything, even the most forbidden spells, not just to get her mark, but also in an attempt to get revenge against them. Starlight Glimmer's past self concludes that all the magic in the world is moot because cutie marks are all that matter to everyone because they were so obsessed with them when she was a kid. This is where Starlight got the idea of creating the Equality Village because no cutie marks = no bullying, and she'll secretly become more powerful than everyone there, anyway, making for some dramatic irony. Starlight tries to commit A travel spell, but it backfires, so she can help Twilight repair the damage, and possibly saves her life in the process. She turns herself in, and when Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Applejack learn what Starlight was trying to do, they don't instantly forgive or accept her so easily, but it would be rightfully deserved since Starlight did put Twilight and Spike in danger. I know that one of the themes of MLP is supposed to be forgiveness, which I understand, but It shouldn't just be handed on A silver platter without actually having to earn it, and I think The Mane 6 not trusting Starlight just yet until she earns forgiveness from them would be a fair way of showing that Starlight won't be accepted so easily. I mean, Sunset Shimmer from the first Equestria Girls movie didn't get accepted right away for her actions and had to earn everyone's trust and forgiveness, so if the writers of the show had Starlight go through that same kind of character arc of earning the right to be trusted and forgiven, then her redemption could've been more effective. So instead of being made a "student of friendship" and being accepted so easily by The Mane 6 and The Villagers, Twilight, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna decide to sentence her to Do Community Service going into Season 6. Season 6 So during the start of Starlight Glimmer's redemption arc, The Princesses, The Mane 5, and Starlight's Village wouldn't trust her so easily, but during Season 6, she would stop relying on Magic so much in order to solve her problems and issues. Starlight would be doing community service to make up for her actions, and during so, Community service for Starlight can give her things to do that actually make her interesting, like for example, she can try to share her goals, wants, needs, feelings, desires, quirks, habits, fears, than just saying that she likes Kites. Not only would Starlight Glimmer try making amends with Twilight, but with her friends as well. Starlight can bond individually with the Mane 6, but she would have to earn their trust instead of it being handed to her. Then during the episode "Every Little Thing She Does", which is towards the end of the episode, Starlight decides she wants to do some soul searching on her own for awhile by Traveling Equestria, and try making amends with the Villagers that she wronged long ago, but she would eventually return. The Season 6 finale storyline would then be The Mane 6 working with Starswirl The Bearded and The rest of The Pillars to take on Stygian, who is now corrupted as The Pony of Shadows, and Princess Luna can take Starlight's role when trying to reason with Stygian instead. The Mane 6 and The Pillars resolve their conflict with The Pony Of Shadows in a similar way to how the show did it, but with Starlight's role replaced with Princess Luna, and Twilight is left upset when she sees Starswirl The Bearded and Stygian reconcile after Starlight left. The Season 6 finale can end with Starswirl The Bearded and The Pillars assuring The Mane 6 that since they were able to reconcile with Stygian and find their own ways home, they can with Starlight as well if they just give her some time. Season 7 A few things that can happen during Season 7 in this rewrite is Starlight have A few of her own standalone episodes to flesh her out more and focus on her redemption, and Starlight reuniting with her old Village and trying to make amends with the people that she wronged during the time she was A villain can be its own standalone episode. Perhaps Trixie could also encounter Starlight when she does a magic show for her Village, and their friendship can start when that happens, Except maybe have it NOT be toxic, Trixie not being so overly Smug, and have Starlight and Trixie actually bond. As for The Season 7 Episode "A Royal Problem", with Starlight being away from Equestria to trying to earn trust back from her Village, Maybe Instead, It can be A Standalone flashback episode of when Princesses Luna and Celestia were mentored by Stawswirl The Bearded when they were teenagers, and the whole premise of their cutie marks being switched can be done by Starswirl instead. The Season 7 finale storyline would have Chrysalis return as the main villain, but Starlight being the main hero can be A bit stronger now with her redemption arc being more fleshed out. The team that Starlight Glimmer assembles to take on Chrysalis and save her captured subjects in this would consist of Starlight, Spike, Trixie, Discord, Thorax and Twilight Sparkle, with Starlight and Twilight putting their new friendship to the test to save the ones captured by Chrysalis. After Chrysalis gets defeated, Starlight finally becomes worthy of forgiveness to Twilight and everyone in Equestria. Things like Starlight's reunion with Sunburst, befriending Maud Pie, and helping The Mane 6 can happen in Season 8 instead. What do you guys think of these ideas?
  16. I think that would've made the episode's ending significantly better. Although, I think Twilight Sparkle becoming An Alicorn is important, even if other fans might not like it, so I think that should be kept in some way in my opinion.
  17. I know these ideas were made Awhile back, but I think this would've made a much better episode than the way The original played out.
  18. Well, despite what you think, I at least tried to make him have more importance in the movie. But Whatever if you don't like him.
  19. I recently rewatched the first Equestria Girls movie, and I'll say that despite some problems I had with the movie, it wasn't that bad. One of my main issues with the movie is how Flash Sentry just had no other purpose to the story other than being A designated love interest for Twilight. I did like the part where he helped Twilight when he was framed by Sunset Shimmer, but that was pretty much it and it was kind of disappointing. Not to mention, when the other Equestria Girls movies and shorts were released, I feel like the writers just threw flash sentry on the back burner completely. Sure, He did have appearances and interactions with the characters here and there, but I feel like there could've been more to him. I feel like he could've been a more compatible love interest for Twilight if he was given better writing, and I do have one idea for what His role In The EG Movie could've been instead of just being A designated love interest. I hope you all will like it: Flash Sentry could be portrayed as the class president of Canterlot High, and A mentor for current and New CHS students who struggle to pass. This way, Flash Sentry can maybe help Twilight fit In the Human World and the High School setting more. Flash Sentry can even maybe Introduce Twilight to the Human versions of the Mane 6 at some points in the movie as the Best Students that can help her. This would be would I would write Twilight and Flash Sentry's first time meeting each, and It takes place During The first MLP EG Movie, and I hope that it could set up a more natural path for Twilight working together with Flash Sentry: Flash Sentry: "Oh, Are You okay?" Twilight Sparkle: "I-I am. Thank you." Flash Sentry: "Don't think I've seen you here before. You're new here at this school?" Twilight Sparkle: "Uh, Yes. It's hard finding help around this place, and I'm a little nervous" Flash Sentry: "Hey, it's okay. The first time is always scary at first. I'm Flash by the way. Flash Sentry." Twilight Sparkle: "Nice to meet you Flash, My name's Twilight Sparkle. So this Is Canterlot High?" Flash Sentry: "Yes, it's one of the best schools. Are you lost?" Twilight Sparkle: "Yes, I sort of am." Flash Sentry: "If you like I could show you around. You know, like give you a tour." Twilight Sparkle: "You'd do that? That sounds great, but I don't want to take up your time." Flash Sentry: "Hey, it's okay. My class doesn't start quite yet. Enough time for you to get to know the school while we go to the Principal's Office. If you're new, I'm sure that's where you were going." Twilight Sparkle: "Sure. By all means, lead the way Flash." So since Flash Sentry has the role of being Canterlot High's class President, he could start showing Twilight around the school and help Made her feel less insecure as she explores CHS. Flash Sentry could even help with a bit of "worldbuilding" so we can make sense of the rules of the setting. After Twilight confronts Sunset in the hallway when she bullies Fluttershy, Sunset leaves and bumps into Flash around the corner. As they both coldly go as they pass one another, they would have a short but heated interaction against each other, and it can give us the first hint on a possible past history between them: Sunset Shimmer: "Flash..." Flash Sentry: "Sunset..." So When it's revealed that Flash Sentry was Sunset's former love interest, which is A small yet VITAL piece of information from Rarity and Fluttershy, it could help Twilight with understanding Sunset more. There also could've been a scene of Twilight questioning Flash Sentry about her. Flash Sentry could also ask Twilight to be her date for the Fall Formal, and Flash would do this to so he can protect Twilight from Sunset after she tried to frame her, instead of having the excuse be that he found her cute and it could build up their relationship In A Natural Way. Flash Sentry can even decide to confront Sunset Shimmer after Twilight was framed and got sent to Principal Luna's Office. The scene can play out like this: Flash Sentry: "You stay away from Twilight, Sunset because I'm going to be at the Fall Formal with her." Sunset Shimmer: "Playing hero Flash? How cute. Do you really think she'll stay once this is over? Do you even know who Twilight really is?" Flash Sentry: "I don't care. As long as she's made princess instead of you, it's all that matters." Sunset Shimmer: "You poor boy... You'll regret this one day Flash. I still remember our little "break-up"..." So the final climax of the movie can remain the same, except that Sunset Shimmer could have a better demon design, and Flash Sentry could try trying to talk a transformed She-Demon Sunset from harming anyone, only to be quickly subdued and threatened with harm as she plans to get revenge on him for breaking up with her, before turning her sights on Equestria. However, Twilight and her The HuMane 6 decide to step in and ultimately saves him, Sunset, and the whole Student Body from a terrible fate like in the original film. As for Flash Sentry's romantic feelings for Twilight Sparkle, It can be A way of gratitude for her saving him and the rest of the school, which Twilight accepts, but she has to go back to the Pony world.
  20. Those suggestions don't sound bad. Do you like the way I rewrote Season 8 at least?
  21. I see that, and I replaced it with A Friendship Camp instead. Is that cool?
  22. When I was looking back at My Little Pony's 8th Season, I thought that it was A decent season that had an interesting concept, but it does make its flaws that makes the execution A bit disappointing. The main problem I had with Season 8 of MLP was how the episodes of S8 started to go up and then went down. The first half was pretty good and I was excited to see where the show would go next with its new concept, but when I was watching the next half of Season 8, It wasn't that good to me, and Season 8 didn't really improve towards the end either in my opinion. I don't think of myself as better than Hasbro's show-writers for My Little Pony, but I'm gonna take A shot at improving the storyline of Season 8. I hope you all like it: So in Season 8, The Mane 6 are in their castle of friendship and it starts off similarly in the same way that the first two episodes of the season started off. The first episode deals with The Mane 6 wanting to spread friendship throughout all of Equestria, but they start a Friendship Camp instead. The idea of The Mane 6 building A place to spread friendship was A cool concept, but A school wasn't the right choice, to me, so instead of A Friendship School, it will be A Friendship Camp. A camp is where kids can just interact with each other and play games and have fun with activities and of course, make friends, So with A Friendship Camp happening instead, It could encourage friendship for others in the camp. Neighsay would be from Season 8 completely because he was just awful. The camp gets set up, and Twilight Sparkle will be the camp's counselor. The character out of the Student 6 that the season introduces will be Gallus, and he will basically be the main focus out of the Student 6. As the episodes progress, the Student 6 will be built up to become A strong group. It will have Gallus as the main focus as he starts becoming used to his new friends. During Season 8's first half, it focuses on the Student 6 and others being encouraged by The Mane 6 to learn about friendship at the Friendship Camp, and they will some fun activities with them while learning lessons. What I would add is that the whole "spreading friendship" thing can work with each species wanting to offer their own perspective on the subject of friendship instead of suggesting that ponies are the only species to know what friendship is. Episodes in Season 8 like "The Molt Down", "Surf and/or Turf", "Rockhoof and a hard place", "Hearth's Warming Club", and "What Lies Beneath" can stay the same, except with the episodes happening at A camp instead of A school. The Student 6 can also earn camp badges instead of doing school-related stuff. The midseason finale episode of Season 8 will be the "Hearth's Warming Club" instead, and towards the end of the episode, Gallus admits that he was the one who made a mess on the Christmas Tree, and that is the point where Gallus starts getting used to his new friends. The ending scene for the mid-season finale would reveal A mysterious filly enters the Friendship Camp undetected, and is seen silently starting to enact her heinous scheme. This would continue on and on when no one would suspect what was going on until later. When we return after the month-long break, the season's story begins to take shape, as this mysterious filly steals six artifacts and planned to use them for her personal gain. 6 episodes later, the filly's name is revealed to be Cozy Glow. Cozy Glow would then secretly enact her plan, all while Chrysalis is unaware, and continues to make evil versions of the Mane 6, but this time, the main and knockoff counterparts would interact, with Twilight suspecting that this must be Chrysalis' hard work paid off. As Season 8 reaches episodes 17-18, Cozy Glow secretly digs a tunnel underneath the Friendship Camp and begins to enact her goals, not knowing that she is being watched by an enigmatic ram-like creature from the distance. In episodes 19-21, Cozy Glow asks Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo if they could follow her, and they all agree, not knowing what Cozy is up to. Cozy then tells them not to let anyone else know of what she's up to, but if they do, she'll have no choice but to lock them in the hut of Zecora. With everything in place, Cozy's plan begins to make its' move. In Ponyville, Thorax notices that the ponies have started to lose their magic, and runs off to warn Twilight. The story continues into the events that lead up to the finale, being episodes 22-24. Cozy Glow's plan is enacted. Cadence is the first of the four princesses to have her magic fade away, only for Celestia, Luna, and Flurry Heart to follow. As Cozy Glow is exploiting the CMC, Sweetie Belle accidentally discovers what Cozy is up to, and desperately tries to warn the Young Six, only for Cozy to lock her in. Apple Bloom and Scootaloo remain, having been unaware of both the disappearance of their fellow Crusader, but also Cozy's plan. With Sweetie Belle out of the way, Cozy Glow begins to continue manipulating her fellow Crusaders. Gallus, now lost, comes across a distraught Sweetie Belle, and she tells him that Cozy got to the other two Crusaders and that they don't have much time. The two scurry off to warn Smolder, Ocellus, and the others, as the magic began to fade. Discord takes note of this, and his chaos magic is starting to fade as well until Ember arrives with a message from Garble, stating that Equestria is experiencing magical difficulties. The Season 8 finale starts off with 50% of Equestria's ponies having their magic drained. Gallus, Ocellus, and Apple Bloom determine that the magic drained was connected to whatever Cozy Glow is planning. The trio now sets off to stop Cozy, meanwhile, Tirek learns that his apprentice's plan is working perfectly. Cozy gloats and gloats, until the Young Six, Apple Bloom, and Scootaloo arrive. Cozy struggles to defeat the Crusaders and Young Six, only for Ember to swoop in and make her dizzy. Ember blocks most of Cozy's attacks but is injured almost immediately. Now out of commission, Ember tells the CMC and Young Six to get Twilight's help. The nine of them scurry off to warn Twilight and her friends. Cozy Glow gloats some more. In the distance, the nine encounter Chrysalis, but she ends up getting blasted by Thorax, who tells the nine that he'll handle her, and they must get to Twilight. The nine told the Mane 6, and they get them to the location of Cozy Glow, and she is scolded by Twilight, who then summons the former's parents, and Cozy Glow gets locked up for her actions and doesn't get redeemed, but she meets Tirek in prison. Shortly after Cozy Glow gets defeated, Twilight Sparkle reverses the magic drain, thus bringing things back to normal at last.
