    To be completely honest with you guys, I am horrible at Sega Genesis games, they made them very difficult to play, but that's what made them fun. :fluttershy: I am good at video games, don't get me wrong.

      Well, then I got a challenge for you that is worth it if you succeed.

      It isn't easy, might require several do-overs, many resets. Activate the Sound Test in Sonic 3! You need to press UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, UP, UP, UP, UP while Sonic is jumping towards the screen just before the title screen. If you succeed, you will hear a ring sound, and you will have Sound Test at the menu, with level select and debug mode on, allowing you to start a level holding A + start to get EDIT MODE!

      Tell me if you managed, especially on real hardware:

      I got it in a few tries.

    Out of all the Forums I've seen online, most of them are pretty dead, like, abandon, this forum has to be one of the very best places to go. Meeting so many great people and making friends and just posting about random stuff to talk about.  :mlp_icwudt:

      @Splashee It seems everyone has their own version of "mom hijacked my console back in the day to play (blank)", usually a puzzle game too. I don't remember mine being obsessed with one though, but my aunts sure did. XD Can't remember which games exactly, but those were some good times despite other things going on.

      @SegaMasterMind Get it, if you can. Search for a used one. Hopefully it isn't too expensive. Try to make sure you'll get the manual as well.

       

      It is a lock-on cartridge, so you can connect Sonic 3 to it, to play all 14 levels of Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and Knuckles is playable. Connect it to Sonic 2 to play Knuckles in Sonic 2. Connect to Sonic 1 to play over 16 million Sonic 3 Special Stages, or any other cartridge to play one out of those Special Stages.

      Of course, Sonic & Knuckles alone is also quite fun, great levels!

    I have a model 1 and 2 Sega Genesis, and a couple games, and as a couple I mean a book shelf full. There are two games I do not have that I would, like to have in my little collection, Vectorman 1 and 2.

      I have model 1 and 2 of Sega Megadrive and model 1 and 2 of Mega-CD. That's what they are called over here in Europe. I also have a Mega-32X :love:

      I basically grew up with these, I am 16-bit and FM synthesis by heart :twismile:

      @SplasheeBack then, as a kid, I only had like 3 carts to play, then one day my neighbors were having a big yard sale, and they had a box full of Sega Genesis Carts and my parents bought the whole box. :pinkie:
