From what I can tell, this was posted at about the time of me actually hitting 1,000.

  2. Hi there, Northern. ^^

    Welcome home to the forums.

Now just to remember who everyone is again...and play internet archaeologist to figure out what I've missed, as I feel like something somewhat major happened while I was away.

So did you follow the prophecy and get tacos?

  4. Hey guys. I know my last status was quite shocking. Very sorry about that. I had to get some things in my life sorted out and that took a heavy emotional toll on me in the beginning. I feel a lot better now, for the most part, and feel ready to come back to the forums.

Yes, I know I said I would quit, but I have a strong desire to create, and share those creations with others. It is what I live for. I love sharing things here, especially since so many of you have supported my art and been very positive for a long time.

Most likely, I will not be as crazy active as I was before, at least not right now. I plan to take activities here in moderation, just for my own sake.

Also, thank you to everyone who sent me such kind words :coco: It’s very heartwarming to know I have impacted a lot of lives in a positive way somehow.

One last thing: @TheGleaner No, I wasn’t put in WitSec, it wasn’t that serious! :Thorax:

      Good to see you're back.

To be fair, on a forum I was on three was a member who abruptly quit with a similar wording. A few years later, they came back and said they were put in WitSec at the time.

  5. Well everypony, I think you probably saw this coming because of my inactivity as of late but I think the time has finally come for me to at least temporarily step down from the forum. When I joined two years ago, I could never have thought in a million years that I could have made so many incredible friends and gained so much confidence through talking with fans of something I love. This forum is just fan heaven for me. Lately though, because of the bugs that still aren't resolved, I haven't been enjoying it as much as I did before. I haven't fallen out with anypony by the way, just wanted to emphasise that.

When I hear that the forum gets fixed, I will hopefully come back and come back strong. Until then, it's very important for me to keep in touch with all of my awesome forum friends. That's why I gave in and got Discord and with that, I'm in a G4 group and I feel closer to my forum friends than ever. One last time, I love all of you very much and I've had such an amazing time. I hope to see you all again if and when the forum gets fixed.

    This isn't goodbye...

Well crap another one I've missed.

Well, until we meet again I guess.

Hopefully they downgrade back to what it was. I know invision isn't  the easiest company to work with...or most professional.

  6. Alright, here's the answer to the trivia question from Sunday/Monday.

Continuing with meteorology and the weather's effects on sports. Racing series such as Formula one and NASCAR can see many different types of weather as their seasons go along. Which of the following weather conditions can they easily run in, given it doesn't get too bad?

Answer: C. Tire manufacturers for the racing series across the world make purpose made rain tires that the drivers use in race that had treads in them that wick the water away from the car. The other conditions would be too dangerous to run in.

    Tuesday/Wednesday's question

Staying with meteorology. NASCAR, as mentioned in the previous question, runs rain tires on road courses on their schedule if needed. Why don't they run rain tires on oval tracks?

    A: Issues with reliability
B: Higher speeds wear tires out faster
C: Slicks are specially designed to withstand g forces on oval tracks
    D: All of the above

Answer to come with the next new question on Wednesday at around 10 pm.

  7. Sorry for the edgy looking profile here, but for personal reasons, I have to quit this place, and all other internet places. It's not what I wanted, but this is something that is over and done with now. It is too bad, because I was almost at 10,000 posts. Thanks for the good times here and thanks to those who befriended me. I won't forget the good times here.

Well if you ever come back, I guess we'll be here...

Happy trails to you, until we meet again...

  8. Alright, here's the answer to the trivia question from Friday/Saturday.

Continuing with meteorology. Sometimes you hear the term 'training' in weather. What does 'training' mean in relation to the weather?

Answer: D. Training in weather terms means that thunderstorms follow the same path, reforming and going over the same places over and over again, and can be slow moving. Flash flooding often happens when these happen.

Also, apologies to anypony who feels like their status updates are getting ignored. :( It's only because of the bug that somehow takes nearly a month to fix.  I'm sure there must be a complicated reason why. :twi:

  21. Thought I’d share some good news. Yesterday I saw my parents for the first time since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion. They finally managed to escape from the occupied territory. I’m not returning to Kyiv yet because Russia keeps regularly shelling big cities. I try to live a normal life in my current location and even started watching MLP again. It seems the war will continue at least for the next few months, and I still hope my hometown will be liberated eventually. In the meantime, I’ll do what I can to be useful and help others.
