It's actually bad it happens on friyay, because the second day of christmas (which is a holiday => day free from work) is on sunday, which means it will be wasted. Days free from work due to holidays that happen on Saturday can be picked anytime around the holiday, but the ones that happen on Sunday do not grant any free-days to pick.
Therefore, I can "move" the tomorrow's holiday (1st day of christmas; 25-12-2021) to today, so today on Christmas I don't have to go to work, but the second holiday goes to waste. There's a 3-day weekend. It would be ideal if Christmas would happen on Thursday, so that Friday would be a holiday and the Saturday would cover Thursday, so I'd have 4-day weekend.
Any other day for Christmas than Thursday means either having a wasted free day from work due to holiday OR going to work on Christmas Eve.
Soooo... kinda rip, but anyway,
