TWO THINGS:

1. I took a week off!  #GetRektMyJob

2. Now that I have more time, I worked a bit on Shattered Harmony today. It's been ages. 

As I've been saying earlier, I've been looking around my old projects and their early versions -- and I realized how nice it would be to have the very early builds of these to see how things were changing. I do have few earlier backups, but I was removing the very old ones I thought I won't need, rip.

So from now on, I'll be paying more attention to early versions and whatsoever to preserve the history of the projects. I'll be compiling builds once in a while, saving them in a corner for future me. 

With that being said, I've been cleaning my project folders a bit ~ organized backups, restored what I could, copied here, uploaded there, and now I'm trying to keep it all nice.

Because this game doesn't have public releases yet, I didn't pay too much attention to its version/build, nor wasn't compiling any playable versions that I could quickly lurk in - I've been just working on the same version overwriting previous states, so to speak.

But no more...

In addition to my own version naming that currently rarely changes due to lack of actual releases, I've added the build number, which should help me keep track of progress and remind me to do some solid backups/compiles more often.

The build number will be the detailed version number. It is increased automatically each time I compile the game, so that's something, that will somewhat encourage me to do this more often, to see the number grow and the progress be "visibly" recorded there.  The DATE (at the time of compiling) will be automatically embedded as well, so that will ensure I'll know everything - when, what and stuff.

While I was there, I needed some more characters in my epic font, so I drew a couple more..

Well, that's all for now, heh. I'll be trying to use that time to finally work on the game and I hope I'll manage to achieve anything in that period.

Ideally, I'd love to have at least a budget playable version with very limited content to explore by the end of the week. That would be nothing exciting, but at the very least it would prove its existence, because at the moment images and gifs is all I've posted and it would be a shame if the game would never get the chance to see the light of day, should something happen to it for whatever reason. Plus, perhaps someone could provide some feedback and share their thoughts, which would be nice too.

Ah, a week that starts off fine, but ends in a less than stellar way.  Let's go over it, my crowd. This will probably be a short entry this time around.

 The biggest thing is that happened this week is: My mother is trying to get a new car, and I'm trying to help her. On Friday, one of my uncles said that he would help us look at vehicles on Saturday. Well, Saturday rolls around. We have kind of a slow start, but by lunch time, he decides to flake on us. Something about how this is something my mother needs to do on her own because it's going to be her vehicle. And I'm off on the side thinking "If you were going to do this, why did you agree to join us and help us out in the first place? You could have backed out on Friday!" Still, my mother and I are going to figure it out somehow. I think my mother is going to try her hardest to find something locally. Why do both of my uncles feel the need to leave town to find a good deal on a car? Do they not see the tons of dealerships and used car lots we have?  But at least doing that was somewhat fun...

 However, there were two things not so fun. While I am happy to help my mother out with car stuff, it means I was left with no time to contact my computer specialist. I might have to focus on helping my mother first before I think of myself. It'll just be easier that way. Also, I was planning to see the 2nd My Hero Academia movie, however technical difficulties got in the way of that. I really need to do a better job of watching these movies sooner...

 BUT WAIT! It's not all negative. Shout Factory has announced that they are going to give Kamen Rider Zero-One an official release in North America?!  Well this will be interesting! I always believed that the reason Shout Factory didn't go after newer shows is because Bandai and Toei wouldn't be happy with a quiet direct-to-video or direct-to-streaming release. They'd want to promote it, put it on television, and get as much publicity over it as possible! Could I have been wrong this whole time? Has there been a new legal development? This will be fascinating to watch unfold. Hopefully it gets a Bluray release.

 Saber 30: That Which Can’t Be Stabbed!  Not much to say about this episode except it seems like Blades is dealing with feelings of inadequacy. I don’t like that his friends aren’t taking the time to better understand his feelings, but then again, even I think these emotional outbursts are a bit too much. Speaking of not understanding, when was Mei turned into the MOTW?

 Zenkaiger 06: Trash Taste!  This episode was rather boring. Not much going on for it. Though it is interesting that Magine is basically a litter bug. I feel like, if this was made many years earlier, we wouldn’t have that dynamic. All the members of the team would just be pro ecology. Case in point, I’m surprised they highlighted the Go-Busters power. Feel like this should have been an episode dedicated to Go-Onger.
