I would definitely love a mention of the previous generation in this movie, like a minor mention of Twilight maybe. That might actually happen since we got a sneak peek of Sunny‘s room.

Obviously, most people thought of Izzy lol. But personally, I don‘t really know who‘s my favorite yet. My least favorite is probably gonna be Zipp, but we should wait until the movie‘s release.

I think you already noticed that, but the actual title is gonna be „My Little Pony - Pony Tale“. It was confirmed by Netflix Malaysia on Twitter.

First of all, thank you!! And yes, could be possible, but I think the movie this year is going to give us enough first impressions of the Mane 5.

So, I think most of you guys know that there is gonna be a new generation of MLP, including a movie, that is releasing in fall this year. I wanted to make a thread about everything we know so far, and I might edit it, when we get new information. The characters. There will be 5 convenient characters (also known as the Mane 5) which are the following: - Izzy Moonbow (Unicorn mare) - Hitch Trailblazer (Earthpony stallion) - Sunny Starscout (Earthpony mare) - The sisters Pipp (Pegasus mare) and Zipp (Pegasus mare) (We also got to see guards in a teaser, but those are not expected to be important characters) What we know about Izzy: Izzy Moonbow is a unicorn with light purple fur and pinkish purple eyes. Her blue mane/tail fades into a blue-ish purple at the ends. Her horn doesn‘t seem to have the common G4 design, and is shown to be more detailed. She wears a bracelet on her front left hoof. Her cutie mark shows a blue sewing pillow with a turquoise button on it, and 3 purple needles that are sticking out. In a teaser, we saw Izzy jumping into the screen and giggling, plus, a clip where a tennisball is stabbed by her horn (this sounds quite brutal but I think you know what I mean xD). She is shown to have quite a bubbly & funny personality, at least from what we can see at the moment. My personal thought is that she will have a similar personality as Pinkie Pie. To get back to her cutie mark; I think she will be practicing sewing, or any kind of textile work. What we know about Sunny: Sunny is an earth pony with light orange fur and green eyes. Her mane/tail is pink with strands of purple, while her lower mane is braided and her upper mane put back. Her legs fade into white fur. Her cutie mark shows 3 purple stars, a big one and 2 small ones, as well as a green trail coming out of the bigger star. (Note: I have no idea what this cutie mark is supposed to tell us, since Sunny is not a pegasus, and my small brain is not able to connect earth ponies and anything related to the sky, stars, etc... So I can‘t really form an analysis If you have any theories/ideas, let me know!) She is shown as fun but can be serious at times, since Izzy is noticeably more impulsive in comparison. She also seems to be friends with Hitch, as we can assume by one of the leaked clips, where they playfully tease each other. I think Sunny will be a passionate pony, according to her attitude in most shown screencaps. We saw her reading in the same clip of Izzy playing with the tennisball, which makes me think that she has interest in spaces/the sky/stars etc... Also, since she has many items that represent the earlier generation (the rainbow/sun poster in her bedroom, the figurines of the Mane 6 that really warmed my heart, the brooches she wears in one screencap...), she may be a fan of the Mane 6 and Celestia/Luna we all know and love :3 What we know about Hitch: Hitch is an earth pony with beige fur and light brown eyes. His mane/tail is not very different from Sunny‘s, being pulled back and having a messy style too. It‘s colored in sea green, with some lighter strands. His muzzle is highlighted white, as well as his chest and lower legs, giving him an extra horse-like look. In all leaked clips, Hitch does not seem to have a cutie mark. This was however proven wrong by the official MLP Instagram account, which posted a full picture of Hitch‘s cutie mark. It shows a golden shield with a blue horseshoe on it, surrounded by 2 green hearts on the outside. It was also confirmed that Hitch is a sheriff, which makes sense mainly because of his chestbelt resembling the look of a sheriff. His personality is shown to be outgoing and very confident, but also shy/playful at times. What we know about Zipp: Zipp is a pegasus with white fur and turquoise eyes. Her tail is magenta with a strand of turquoise, while her same colored mane is pretty short and gelled up. Since we were only given one appearance of Zipp, we couldn‘t see her cutie mark. Luckily, new toys were released which confirmed her cutie mark to be a 3 colored lightning, including pink, turquoise and blue, as well as a crown above it. By that one scene we were able to see, Zipp‘s attitude seems rather majestic and confident, strengthened by the fact of her spreading her wings, which are much bigger than common G4 pegasus/alicorn wings. Her wings also give us an outlook on the new G5 wing design (although Pipp‘s wings are way different), which is more feather-like and detailed, unlike the simple G4 design. Zipp reminds many people (including me) of Rainbow Dash, though I think Zipp will be more mature. She is a princess as well as her sister, Pipp. What we know about Pipp: Pipp is a pegasus with light pink fur and grass green eyes. Her mane/tail is purple, though her mane is partially tied by her thin crown. Her fur also fades into a white when reaching her lower legs. Unlike the other 4, her hooves are golden. Her wings have a way fluffier appearance than those of Zipp, causing a cloud-like look. This tells us that there are various types of wings, unlike G4, where every pegasus had the same wing design. We didn‘t really see her cutie mark in the teasers, but both the plushie and the introduction cover tell us that her cutie mark is a musical note with a crown inside of it. So apparently, her special talent will be singing or anything related to music. Her personality could be shy/friendly, according to what we have seen until now. In one teaser, Pipp was very noticeably using a phone. This made many people think. Phones were never really a thing in G4, if we exclude Equestria Girls & Pony Life. I‘m looking forward to the use of phones in this generation :> Things that are new compared to the previous generations of MLP: - Phones - Multiple types of wings (design) - New horn design - Overall a more detailed and less cartoony design I think I recovered everything about the movie now. But there was also a leak of when the G5 show seasons will come out, and according to a post I‘ve seen, it‘s gonna be around those times: - Spring 2022: 44min Special - Fall 2022: Season 1 (the first half) - Spring 2023: Season 1 (the second half) - Fall 2023: Season 2 (the first half) - Spring 2024: Season 2 (the second half) I‘m looking forward to those releases! I‘d say creative cause the plot gets really extraordinary as the show continues

Yea I think it‘d be cozy.

1. Twilight I know this is cliche but she‘s definitely the most intelligent of them all, though she tends to be nervous at times. 2. Applejack I think she‘s really mature when it comes to important decisions. 3. Fluttershy 4. Rarity She‘s reckless at times. 5. Pinkie Pie She sometimes predicts the future, though she‘s not intelligent 6. Rainbow Dash

Cartoon logic. No but seriously, I don‘t think this is a big deal.

I kinda like those episodes. They‘re very nostalgic when I look back at them now. The plot is amazing and the defeat-scene makes me tear up.

Snips & Snails. They‘re just hella annoying side characters with absolutely no purpose.
