    I liked that Spike learnt his lesson and that it was the few episodes where Angel did something nice. Fair, but it would have been easier than sitting a bunch of pets for a day.

    I mean it looks pretty full of gems in the episodes we see it in. It’s not like a crop where some years it doesn’t yield as well as others.

    If Spike was so desperate for gems for his cake why didn’t he just go to the gem cave?

    I also think it’s a little different. Because the ponies let Spike eat the gems and don’t try to stop him, Twilight even encourages him. Nobody in their right mind would let a goat or a horse eat tangible money.

    Wow that’s so true! Still doesn’t explain why people aren’t flocking to the gem mine though.

    In 3x11 we see a clear view of how gems are used as currency in ponyville. You can donate them to charity, use them to buy goods, decorate your clothes with them and some species eat them. To me it just doesn’t make sense. There are creatures in Equestria that consume money. Imagine if there was an animal on Earth that ate money, that would be the most annoying animal ever! Also if you can use them to buy stuff why doesn’t everyone go into the gem cave and become a millionaire? Also you can use them to decorate things. Imagine decorating human clothes with money. So confusing, hahahah!

    Also a good argument. There also should be a spell to shut somepony up.

    They get the voice and appearance down perfectly. But when it comes to personality they are awful at imitating that. They can never get the original person’s personality right. If they had been able to master this then they probably would have been victorious every time they tried to take over Equestria.

    I think whenever Starlight drifted off she would start snoring so Trixie would wake her up. Then Trixie could sleep but she would start talking and then Starlight would wake her up. Then it was like that back and forth for the whole night.

    Exactly! Which is totally true with Pinkie’s sixth sense. Twilight just had to accept that it didn’t make sense.
