  1. I would suggest getting another tie. It's nice the one you have there, but I honestly believe it doesn't fit properly with the suit. The grey side pretty much blends in with the shirt. I would suggest a plain colour tie, though with a charcoal shirt you don't have many options. Maybe going without a tie could work just as well.
  2. I don't see her as neither good nor a tyrant. Celestia is, as her sister, a princess and half-absolute ruler of the Principality of Equestria. In the traditional sense of the word, Celestia is a half-tyrant, but in the more modern meaning I believe she's, for a absolutist political leader, a very benevolent monarch. I sometimes like to compare her rule with that of Plato's idealistic leaders in 'The Republic'.
  3. This chap. I don't know his name, nor why he's one of the most photographed sappers out there, but dat manly beard is quite sexy. Lel.
  4. A 12 pound cannon. I mean, come on. Who wouldn't like to have a massive twelve-pounder in his front yard, eerily aiming at any cars passing by.
  5. I am too damn predictable. My favourite restaurant is a small place called '1810'. They specialize in traditional Argentinian food from the Revolución de Mayo period, and have the best stews I've had in all my life.
  6. Sorry, mate. We've all been corrupted already by too many hours on videogames and lack of new episodes. In my case, I blame the smell of gunpowder in my fingerless gloves and the French infantry sword I bought a few weeks ago.
  7. Slightly off topic, but I think this fits: I don't get something. How come wearing a hat with cat ears is somewhat socially acceptable, at least within certain social groups, but if I try wearing a dolman instead of a hoodie I'm considered a weirdo? I don't think wearing cat ears is weird, and it seems most people here don't either.
  8. Most 13 year old or younger kids. Not due to age, but the average trolly and 'fuk yu I dun giv a sheet lol badmin abus' attitude they have. I had to ban three from an online public event last night, since they would't follow the server rules. The present. Why can't I live in the early 19th Century, when the limeys, frogs, krauts and ivans were going at each other's throats in the Napoleonic Wars. Snobby rich people with 'oh you peasant scum' mentality. Them youtube adverts.
  9. Tempting... quite tempting actually. But nah. If I can't use that nuke to exterminate those whom I hate, and see their bodies disintegrate and melt down due to heat and radiation, then nay. Lol jk.
  10. One of my friends uses this pic for avatar. I find it quite amusing: Other than that, my buddies in The Royal Recruits also have quite interesting avatars: And when it comes to 'cutest'... well, idk really. This forum aside, I rarely see any cute avatars at all.
  11. Spanish, English and all spanglish derivates. I can speak a bit of French, but I doubt if I'm left alone in France of French-speaking Canada I'm pretty much doomed.
  12. The History Channel's Civil War: A Nation Divided. Honestly, I tired my best to like that game, but musket FPS games are not made for consoles, let alone single player. That, and it was quite glitchy, historically inaccurate (at least, I've been told it is, I am ignorant on the ACW) and has bad musket mechanics. BattleGrounds II and Mount and Blade: Napoleonic Wars are by far better musket games.
  13. I have a musket, bayonet AND sabre Briquet. Plus, I'm 1,87 meters tall, I have a grenadier Bearskin hat and a neat uniform to go with it.
  14. My favourite word? Well... 'Sah'. It's the written pronunciation of the word 'sir' in northern English accent. I use it a lot when talking to people. eg: "Good day, sah!"
  15. You forget one thing, dear chap: There are no girls on the internet. Girl = Guy In Real Life. Sorry. Had to. lel.
  16. I have no idea, yet I am sure I will never regret my decision of being part of it. Little parenthesis: This proves my theory: ponies are made of rubber.
  17. It's the internet, mate. Don't take anything you find on the internet seriously. In fact, I was on 4chan a few days ago. The amount of sheer hatred in that site is hilarious.
  18. Death? Not really. Severe injury? Oh yeah. Last time was during one of my daily trips to college. While crossing a street, some mad biker came in quite fast on red lights and almost runs me over. Then before that, I've witnessed a fair number of shootings from not very safe places (ie inside my car, bout 10 feet from the cops getting shot at), I've almost fallen on the underground's rails due to some dumbarse pushing me, and I had a few close calls with muskets and reenactment. In fact, I got shot with an empty paper cartridge on the shoulder once. Thank god it was just paper and not a bullet or ramrod.
  19. Belt was never used against me. At least, I can't remember any of my parents using it. My dad however used to pull my hair and drag me into my room whenever I screwed up. Foul language was never an issue with me since I rarely cursed as a child, and in the case of bad school marks or anything along those lines I would just get grounded. Physical punishment aside, my dad was always quite... 'radical' when it came to punishing me. Breaking my stuff, hiding it in tall places so I couldn't reach it, throwing it to the toilet or a nearby trashcan full of garbage, things like that. Worst he did was cutting the living room's tv feed wires, since I wouldn't listen to him while watching it. Ha! Funny thing is, he actually was more affected than I was. It took a week to get the wire fixed, and until then my dad had no TV. I, however, had the internet.
  20. This is part of Mount and Blade: Napoleonic Wars' soundtrack. I've been playing that game for the last 5 hour, admining a public event with about 20 players.
  21. Every day I get to know something new. Still, my name choice has nothing to do with the Japanese language. I may go back to 'Koach' soon, though.
  22. Long story. So my first internet pseudonym was 'Koach', which was the name of an NPC in the spanish dubbed version Black Hawk Down: Team Sabre, a videogame for the PS2. in 2010, and out of sheer boredom, I made a gameplay video of a source mod called Battle Grounds II, and somehow a classmate of mine found it. Given the name I had there, he began calling me that. Then the entire classroom called me that. Including teachers and even the rector himself. Halfway through 2011, this one girl began calling me 'Kochi', as some sort of pet name. After months of hearing that, I changed the name from 'Koach' to 'Kochi'. Finally, a few months ago a clanmate showed me this series called 'Hornblower', which told the story of a young officer in the British Royal Navy. In that series, one of the main character's superior officers was called 'Lieutenant Bracegirdle'. I found the odd last name quite amusing, and so I adopted it. As for the 'Mr' part, well, I am a gentleman.
