Yeah. Not to hate on JRPGs, but the imo the popularity and genre strength has really gone down since the beginning of the Wii/PS3/360 era.

Well, the best ones I've played since the last gen were Xenoblade Chronicles and Ni-No-Kuni, everything else was... yeah, mostly bad, compared to the old times.

Yeah. If you take a look at season 1 and 2, the episodes were often better paced.

I mean the episodes are still good, but they're kinda rushing.

It's mostly too much action for 22 minutes. Either they make fewer things happen in future episodes - in a potential season 5 then - or they try to increase the episodes' lenght a bit. Might help.
