    tbh I do the same. The high pitched voices/screams and recycled plot lines are a bit too much for me. I skipped a majority of their episodes after my initial watching of the series.

    I only use it to use high intensity load games like "tic-tac-toe" XD Jokes aside- I play some games when I can actually find the time in the middle of everything lol

    I can't tell you how many times I random think about Starcraft lines even though I haven't played those games in years.

    I mean the Terrans have this whole wild west theme in regards to accents and then you hear this Russian dude say: "Battlecruiser Operational".

    Recently played Cassette Beasts on Steam, it was pretty good. It's coming out on the Nintendo Switch later this month! Oh and the new Zelda game actually looks good, I may actually buy it and try it out this Friday.

    Oooh this is a hard one, I actually did like EG a bit more than FiM. I'm still upset that they did not finish EG's story completely. Those girls deserved more!

    I thought G5 was alright when it first came out, but it started getting better over time. I'm really enjoying more of the recent TYT and MYM specials. Continuity is all over the place, but from everything I recall from G4, it follows the trend. I do think people should try to watch a lot more of it to see the progress that they have made. There are some characters that I don't like, especially Sparky, however I feel there is a purpose for this in the long run. I do think it was an odd choice to make G5 the sequel to G4, but as a business strategy it makes sense. Go with your most popular series and profit off of it with a sequel, revamp, and different look on a variety of platforms. The numbers behind this are proof that they got enough eyes watching the product, while keeping a low budget and not changing the standard formula too much. It's very cost effective with their target audience being 4-6 year old girls. G4 and G5 are connected, but people keep drawing unfair comparisons as they are completely different teams working on both series as far as I heard of. I think the G5 team is making the best of a bad situation and adapting the best way they can.

    Hello everyone, I'll keep it short and sweet! Recently, I had a lot of personal changes occur and made some tough personal decisions. Following these changes, I decided that I wanted to start shaping my life into a more positive direction that truly reflects what I care about. As part of this, I made several changes to my account here and took down my previous blogs as I decided to embrace new changes in my life. I would to like to thank everyone who messaged me personally about my previous blogs and how they touched them in their own special ways. This community is very unique and that makes me so proud to be a part of it! After much deliberation, I ended up deciding to stick with the graduate program and looking to complete my masters within the next year and a half. It's going to be a lot of work, but after speaking with many professors and professionals in the field- I have newfound confidence in regards to the personal growth opportunities that I will experience during my tenure as a student. I'm very excited in regards to that aspect of my life. I have some other changes occurring in the background, but more on that later! Next, I believe the forums and the MLP fandom are heading towards a new era of prosperity. Ever since I joined this site, I would always hear older members of this community speak in high platitudes of the "old days" where everyone in the community was very interactive with one another. I understood their nostalgia, rightfully so- when I began to examine the fan creations and events of the past that were just so incredible!!! It made me yearn for a time that I never knew existed! As G4 progressed, I saw a timeline over the years that many members left, some returned, while others have risen to become great pillars of the community, keeping the magic of friendship alive. One day, I hope to help and inspire many members here and people all over the world. Things seemed quiet throughout the fandom until G5 made it's lovely appearance into our lives. It had a rocky start, but over time I believe G5 has grown on everyone here. That paired with recent changes in Hasbro's approach and the recent trailer's improved animation quality tells me that the best is yet to come to the franchise! On top of this, I have seen the new administration of the forums come in with some big changes that will effect the community in various ways like never before. I have much confidence that great things will come to our community. It's starting to reflect with all the new faces that have joined here recently and the ones who have yet to make that step! I can't wait for our future! Lastly, I would like to send my best wishes to everyone here. I understand that everyone is going through different situations and others have hardships that seem impossible to overcome. To whoever is reading this- just know that you are never alone and that you are an incredible person who is capable of doing amazing things. Never feel that you are not. Finally, I would like to send best wishes to all the new friends that I made in the past few months here and the wonderful new friendships that have yet to start.
