Princess Celestia @@Akari of Duskshire, @, @@AmberDust, It took but a moment, yet Princess Celestia expression would change somewhat though from what was uncertain. Looking to the door before turning back to those around her, the princess offered a somewhat embarrassed smile and says apologetically, “Please excuse me, I need to step away for a moment.” With that she would hurry off, making her way through the crowds of ponies and out the door into the hall, disappearing from sight. Mythos Gray Though it looked like the princess was about to reply to his greeting, Mythos would be a bit disappointed in the mare making a hasty retreat. He would watch her leave, and when out of sight he sighed before looking to the others and saying with a smile, “Perhaps another time.” Looking to Amber he would continue, “maybe we will have an opportunity to speak with her later.” The unicorn would catch the hesitation and correction in Fantasy's words, looking between her and the stallion with a knowing smile. They both seemed a bit flustered, perhaps partly from their conversation with the princess before he an Amber arrived, and put two and two together pretty quickly. Deciding perhaps it was best to move on from the unexpected turn of events Mythos would say, “Yes, I am sure the performance will go quite well.” The stallion would brush briefly against Amber's cheek as he looks in her eyes before adding, “made all the better by having you there in the audience by dear.” ((With that, Princess Celestia exits, my apologizes for this and for having such a late reply))

The problem is that the writers have completely underutilized Princess Celestia as a character, as of yet not having a single episode focused on her compared to the half a dozen episodes with Princess Luna Princess Celestia has for all intents ruled Equestria for a 1000 years, in peace, by herself. As such logic alone would state as fact that she would be a phenomenal leader through experience alone, especially since if she wasn't there would be no sense in ponies adoring her so much. Also, with magic as something that can be learned and studied, improved as time goes on, reasons that she would be quite powerful. This is more driven home with how The Journal of the Two Sisters shows that she was a bookworm much like Twilight that liked learning, Celestia spending quite a bit of time with the father of magic Starswirl the Bearded himself and Luna saying her sister was the better fighter. Also, it is in this books that one learns Celestia and Luna are born alicorns, along with how there was at some point other alicorns as well. By all rights, Princess Celestia is supposed to be very competent and powerful, both as a ruler and an alicorn... yet the writers has failed to reflect this by continuing to ignored or neglect her in the narrative, without an episode to her name, will only make the problem worse.

@, @, Equestria, Canterlot - Princess Celestia “With age comes wisdom, which I am sure you understand,” Celestia would offer, before adding as she looked to the dragon, “and to comes the understanding that conflict and war bring little but suffering. I do what I can to make sure my little ponies don't have to experience such things.” On the tea she would reply, “Thank you, it is the recipe of an old friend. It is one of the few things I still have of hers.” The alicorn would pause in a a moment of reflection before adding, “Also I appreciate your kind words of my home, I do feel friendship is always possible.” There was admittingly still much she did not know of this dragon or his nation. “Tell me about yourself, as to your home,” would come the question. Moving Swiftly Away From Canterlot - Fleetfoot Fleetfoot had gotten the notice, having been participating in a training session when called on to perform the task of messenger and had already begin heading towards the flying castle moving closer towards Canterlot though it was still a ways off. With letter in side bag, securely bound, she would fly swiftly forward. Once arrived, she would land and take a moment to catch her breath. Fleetfoot would wait for somepony to greet her before requesting to speak with the one in charge saying, “Letter from Her Highness, Princess Celestia for the ears of whoever is leading this castle.” She just hoped all was actually well, considering for a moment the possibility that this was a trap or trick before pushing such thoughts aside.

Princess Celestia @@Akari of Duskshire, @, @@AmberDust, Celestia would look from the little familiar to Fantasy, smiling as Cresent pawed at its new mouth and the mare rubbed her nose. The princess would say softly with a chuckle, "cute". She would notice the mare look away as if to somepony else and when she turn to see who it was she say a white stallion with a mare besides him. Looking to Star, she would watch and listen to his reply, noticing his uncertainty and embaressment. To Celestia, it seem more then clear what the situation was and that the stallion more then likely actually did have feelings for Cresent though he didn't have the confidence to express them. Still, she would not be the one to put him on the spot and would simply nod before saying, “Hmm, so be it then.” Mythos Gray Mythos would chuckle, leading the mare with him towards Fantasy and the princess. The unicorn was calm and self assurance, if also amused, without worry of how things would go. For him, meeting Celestia would be something he would look forward too not to be concerned of and he hoped Amber would take strength from his presence. On arriving near, the unicorn would bow to the princess and offer the words, “Your Highness,” before turning to Fantasy and saying, “Greetings, glad I found you.” Looking from the two, to Star, and then to Amber he would introduce her with the words, “This is Amber Dust, my lovely date for the evening. Amber, this is Fantasy Moon. You of course recoginze Her Highness Princess Celestia.”

@, @, Equestria, Canterlot - Princess Celestia Seeing the white flag the princess would smile, giving a sigh of relief before flying back down to the balcony. Once she had landed, Celestia would say to one of her guards, “Lets keep alert, they have shown a white flag telling us that they come peacefully though we should be ready just in case trouble arises. Still, tell the staff to set up a welcome. We must show that Equestria is hospitable to visitors. Turning to the other she say, “Lastly, seek out a messenger that can fly swiftly to the castle. Perhaps Fleetfoot if you can find her.” With the guards leaving, a quill and pen would appear by way of the princess' magic and she would begin to write. Yet, not forgetting about the visitor she already had Celestia look up and say with a sheepish smile, “I apologize for this unexpected turn, perhaps we can return to the throneroom and we may continue with our planned meeting?” One thing that would be concerning was that Celestia's voice sounded a little strained, as if using the Canterlot voice and an volume spell so she could be heard miles away was more then her throat could handle. Admittingly, there was also the realization that her subjects across Equestria had heard what she had said and might thus begin to worry. Still, she would put such aside for now to ask the dragon as they walked inside, “So what is it that you would like to discuss?” --------------------- Equestria, Ponyville - Mane Six In Ponyville, ponies were already talking among each other and wondering who Celestia had been speaking to. Twilight and her friends had gathered at the castle, the young princess found looking through a telescope in the direction of the flying castle. Rainbow Dash had been the first to notice it, giving word to the others. They were now all taking turns to look through the telescope and discussing the situation. “So who do you think they are,” would come the question, Twilight answering, “I don't know. I didn't even know there was anyone who could make a full size building and more fly in the air. However they have it set up it is powerful magic.” “Looks like they are armed and ready for a fight,” Rainbow would note, with Fluttershy adding, “though there was a white flag they showed so maybe they are friendly?” “Who comes with weapons shown if they are friendly,” Applejack would ask, and Twilight would say, “Maybe they are afraid we wont be peaceful and attack them. I have never seen of a group like this coming to Equestria before.” The young princess would sign, before looking to her friends, “I can send a letter to ask what is going on, though I think Princess Celestia has this taken care of. If she needs our help, Spike is here for us to get a letter.” The dragon would nod as Twilight then looks back through the telescope.
