I'm not sure I understand. I was wondering how the whole Pinkazoid thing started. In terms of the base members, and why it was decided that everyone adopt the identity of a single user?

Even so it does carry with it the homogeneous tendencies of conforming. That is to say that everyone appears to be the same in their unified act of donning the same attributes. In this case, signatures, and name changes. What started all of this anyway? In any case I have always been one to question the status quo. It's important that people do this, and this is what I see in this rebellion. It's obviously the underdog in the scheme of things, because there are way more zoids.

I do enjoy revolution, and great change. Though if I may suggest. If this is about the concept of originality there should be a slogan around it. Something like "Remember your dreams, and remember yourself". It could also be something funny,witty and memorable. Like augmenting an old saying into "The zoids laugh at us because we are different, we laugh at them because they are all the same". Just as an idea of course, because I support originality at least in terms of what it represents. It can be said that there is no such thing as originality, because everything comes from something. However the desire to be your own person, and not try to emulate others is something admirable in people.

When you take universal concepts, and compare them to human concepts you will find contradictions. Good and evil, right and wrong are human concepts of duality. Whereas once we remove this concept of opposing forces we are left with only our concepts of the universe in a holistic sense. Because in one we have divisions, and in the other we have unifying principles. Consider for a moment words are merely symbolic expressions of our understanding of personal concepts. So a person who says that demons are evil. Is associating their own concepts of these words in a way to express their own conceptualizations of a given subject. In terms of the logic that they use to draw these conclusions. While I am sure that most would agree that without knowing both sides of any story in their totality. A proper conclusion cannot be drawn. However when one debates what is "truth" and what isn't. We get into a plethora of conflicting principles, and begin to gravitate dangerously close to absolutism. We cannot in good conscience discuss things in such a black and white manner, because what is truth if it's not in someway correct or right? This reminds of me a statement I read a long time. It went something like this: " 500 years ago it was a fact that the world was flat. However in modern times we now know that it is fact that the world is round. The only things that will change are the facts. The truth that remains the same." If we are to believe that the truth of any given subject are things that represent reality, and not opinion. Then we can draw a conclusion that the truth is something that can be substantiated by objective means. This is the establishment of a frame of reference, and as such it can be debated. Everything can be debated if you think on it enough. Though there is one thing I have seen. The personal truth. The truth that has to do with one's own personal experiences. This differs from opinion in that it has to do with real concrete experiences, and is influenced largely by ones capacity to remember details and their ability to ascertain the emotional context. What does this have to do with truth? It has everything to do with perception. Which is the crux of the original post. My point is that truth as long as it is something we perceive can always be debated. This is the truth as I see it. Does it mean that it is false because it might contradict the truth as other people see it? What frame of reference shall we use to determine this? What is the "right" frame of reference in anything? So you see we have come to a point in which the concept that the truth is an absolute. A golden frame of reference if you will, and I don't think anyone really knows what this is. I know I don't, and all I can really offer anyone is the truth as I see it. I will end this conversation with another quote I read a very long time ago. "Of course there are absolutes in this world. The very statement "There are no such thing as absolutes" is self defeating. For if that statement was not in itself an absolute. It could be wrong." Some food for thought of course. This is my intention behind my post. To offer the truth as I see it with the hopes that it might be enhanced with the experiences of others.

I own an obscenely large amount of MLP stuff. Most of which is Pinkie Pie orientated. I even have the Pinkie Pie train with the Sweetie Belle expansion. I also have around 60 various McDonalds MLP toys from earlier this year. Most of those McD's toys, are Pinkie Pie. I keep most everything in the box/packaging that they came in. Save for one of each of the McD's toys, some commissioned works like "Filly Pinkie Pie" and a large "Gala Pinkie Pie, and the gift pack that included PP,AJ,TS,Celestia, and Spike. I also have a Pinkie Pie t-shirt from WeLoveFine, but I'm keeping it protected in a box. I'll wear it if there is every gonna be a meetup in my area though I would like to keep it in pristine condition >~<! There may yet come a day when I'll have enough enough MLP merch to make a huge pile of pony toys. I'll call it my horde, and sleep on it, like a dragon ^~^;. Maybe >~<.

Heh, that's pretty interesting. Now you have me wondering if this is possible. We know that the Everfree Forest has it's own weather climate. So it might snow there normally, and this snow is harvested for the winter start up. Though it is quite dangerous in there, and I would imagine they might have to clear sections of the Everfree for this purpose. If this were even possible to show itself. Truth be told it's more than likely a task for Cloudsdale to generate snow and distribute it accordingly. Probably using specially designed clouds. Now that would be interesting to see. All the same, a winter start up is very good idea ^~^;.

Yeah it was ridiculous, and these are people who legitimately believe their subjective opinions are absolute facts, and they advertise it as such. I'm pretty amazed that no one has made a system of defining this kind of delusional bigotry using that article as a template. In other words the statement "Rainbow Dash is a Lesbian" would score around a 7-8 on the "Richter" scale. You see what I did there ^~^?

Gilda return as nice? I find myself wondering about the possibilities. Truth be told I find it a dubious concept, but not an impossible one. Largely because I remember reading somewhere that Hasbro did not want a cohesive continuous story, but rather segmented episodes as a vehicle to sell more toys. So unless they want to sell a Gilda toy I can't see them having her return. It really all depends on what the creators have in mind for Gilda, and what potential they see in her. If Gilda was intended as a throwaway "bad guy" character with no plans for marketing a toy. I can't see her returning, but there is one thing that makes me hopeful it might change. That one thing is everything there is about Derpy. Considering that she was just a mere background character, but now she has her own toy. It seems that anything might be possible. Sure Gilda was mean to Fluttershy, as it was intended for Gilda to represent a "two-faced bad friend". However, I have always wanted to see more complex villains, and there is still a possibility that she can appear in another episode to show a better side of her. I would support a return of Gilda for this reason, because I want to see MLP break even more perceptions about cartoons. I want it to be an even more powerful symbol of what it means to be unique and different. Otherwise, there would not be much of a point in having her return. Unless they want to sell a Gilda toy, but that is up to anyone's guess at this point.

I agree with this statement. There is nothing in the show that even remotely insinuates this. Though there will always be some people who can't distinguish their subjective opinions from fact. So don't get bothered by them, because the problem lies with them not with you. Rainbow Dash was also accused of being a lesbian by Kathleen Richter. The women with delusions of superiority who wrote that very caustic pony hate article way back. People who can't distinguish their opinion from what is fact, and arrogantly push it on other people. They are very much like Kathleen Richter. Though yeah, hi ^~^;.

Beauty in terms of the subjective is a fragmented ideology. Beauty, as many already know, can be expressed not simply in terms of physical appearance. However, the beauty of the spirit is something that one can admire with equal power. For this reason it can be said that everyone one of these princesses are beautiful equally, because they all have very beautiful spirits. Themselves unique in their spirit. Though some people may prefer one spirit over another in terms of how well you could get along with that princess. So it is with definition that I have voted for Princess Luna. Princess Celestia is an even-handed and wise ruler. While Princess Cadence is more the young princess that may not be as wise as Celestia, but she makes up for it with her friendly outgoing nature. Though it is with Luna that I think I could get along with the most. I am not talking about Nightmare Moon by the way. I am talking about Princess Luna of Season 2. A princess that while is accustomed to the old ways of royal thought (in terms of conduct and protocol) is still very down to earth at heart. From what I saw, she can talk to non-royal ponies on the level without it appearing contrived. Sure she is stuck in age old customs that no longer applies to the current Equestrian society. Though I feel in time, and with the right social acclimatization she could be pretty cool to hang around with. At least I can see this potential. Being the Princess of the Night. I'm pretty sure she would be down for some late night partying at a night club, or even some late night gaming sessions. She also has the appearance of a rebel, and someone who is capable of challenging the status quo. This is something I can respect, because it is to me, the symbol of what it means to be free.

Care Bears is very new, and most new shows are usually greeted with enthusiasm. Though every show loses viewers in time, but it is when it is a good show that more people begin watching it that it offsets the viewers it is losing. Care Bears should do well right at the beginning, but time will tell if has the same staying power as MLP. The very fact that MLP is growing on a consistent basis says more about it's quality and endurance as a show.

It's up to you what you want to do, but there is a risk of embarrassing yourself and your brother. Though I think you could get away with some horse related puns, but not something directly related to MLP. Considering that you are on a horse farm, and there is an important reason why the marriage is being held there. If the bride loves horses, a few positive horse jokes would be acceptable I think. Though I think you need to really consider what you would have to gain from referencing MLP in the first place. It doesn't look like you would have anything to gain at least from what I can see.

In truth I do not like real horses or real ponies. I don't see the infatuation with them in all honesty. It's just something that will have to remain enigmatic to me. Though MLP ponies I do like, but that might be because of how similar they are to people rather than real ponies. Their personalities are derived from human concepts, but ones that are distilled into their base "elements". Their facial features are more human than they are pony, and they each have very notable characteristics that are human like. In terms of how they hold onto objects with their hooves from time to time. Stuff like that. This is the conclusion I have drawn for myself, but it's nothing more than a best guess.
