I'll be getting some food soon too. best way to pass the time I suppose, look at the bright side of life. At least we have a home and can feed, clean and clothe ourselves, those of us who can, we are fortunate. Some people in the world had their homes taken away from them by violence. -

I try to remain calm but it is difficult to do that sometimes when people don't use their heads in this country. We have enough problems without infotainment media misleading the population. They exploit people's gullibility with clickbait articles and oversimplified case studies that don't tell the public what they need to know, which quite frankly should be illegal, but it isn't, so they effectively function as state owned propaganda. -

If I don't ignore bad news that causes me stress it'll be the death of me someday probably. I must say though the GBNews audience are clueless, well some of them are. The assumption that everyone who is disabled is housebound is absurd. It is possible for a Carer looking after two disabled sons or daughters to go on a family trip, that does not change the ADHD or autism diagnosis, or whatever else, and it certainly does not prove they're able to work either, it's different for each person how much their condition affects them. GBNews is basically Britain's version of Fox News, it is for an audience that is unwilling to engage in thoughtful conversation and nuance. They exaggerate the fraud rate of the welfare system ignoring the statistics of people who are in low paid work receiving subsidies and hosts of GBNews don't even let their critics finish what they're saying. These people would have a DOGE organization working for Britain if they thought they could get away with it. -

I've seen many variants of that contract for soul story played out in fiction, Homer Simpson in that The Simspons Treehouse of Horror Special is perhaps one of the funniest examples. Homer would really do that just for a donut? seriously? and then we have Stanley Ipkiss in The Mask Animated series, who sold his soul just so he could get lucky in life. As if having the Mask of Loki wasn't enough for him.

In an imaginary scenario that also cannot happen. A mysterious person makes offer, wish granted in exchange for soul, then a client asks who he is, looks over to the left, and something is off about that person's shadow. Before leaving, creepy guy says with a smirk "Guests are waitin', you'll be joining them soon." then leaves. You know who this is.

Thinking about the Ghostrider movie scene, wow, people are that desperate to get what they want that they sign that contract, huh? I don't believe the Devil exists however that said, that folklore about the Devil does leave me wondering just how many people would do that if given the chance.

That fantasy that I talk about that can never happen, the transformation from human to pony in Equestria in MLP FIM would symbolize that change of loyalty to a culture that is way more altruistic than our own. I don't want to be loyal to a collective that continues genocide for political reasons. Being reborn as a Pegasi would not be a curse to me, in that imaginary scenario like in my fanfic, I'd do what they did, adapt, form alliances, and ask for help when needed. It isn't as bad as some people would make it sound. Not everybody would want this and that is okay, I just hope that they would not see this wish as foolish, because it is not.

I don't know how you write your fan fictions and unless you wish to tell me, it's none of my business really. And how you make it is up to you. But what my MLP FIM G4 fanfic is about if I ever get around to finishing writing it, isn't just a simple matter of being reborn in a different world that is fictional, it's a change of loyalty. I am not loyal to a government that commits war crimes in the middle east, I don't care about the law where I'm from, if I were given the option I'd switch loyalties to this, Princess Luna and her sister Celestia, they are Monarchs but at least I have something in common with them, they don't like war. I've even got a licensed MLP shirt with Princess Celestia and Princess Luna picture on the front.

How I feel as a human about human matters is wholly irrelevant to me as a Pony. As a pony, I am an actively serving member of EUP, from a family with generations of service, and I am a sworn retainer of Princess Luna. Therefore, obviously, I am a staunch loyalist of the Canterlot regime.
Much moreso, I must say than many Ponies I've discussed these matters with, even if only briefly. Even a regime as enlightened and gentle as the Tetrarchy of Equestria is too much for some Ponies, it seems. We have many individualist anarchists and or freewheeling swashbuckling adventurers. They look down on service, or any serious obligations or responsibilities generally. That's not what being a pony means to them, but ponies of their kind are not what make Equestria what it is.

I'd love to be a member of that world as a Pegasi, truly, they understand the importance of duty and care. I don't look down on any other variant of Pony in Equestria whether Alicorn, Unicorn or Earth pony, I just don't feel like I would be the right type to wield magic responsibly. I wished I could be born in that fantasy world because then I could be raised with their values, integrate with them without being a toxic influence there. This is a shirt I have of both royal Princesses of Canterlot.

Yeah that is why I wish my MLP fan fiction could be true, and it is not I've lost all hope in the world we have. What I'd give to be in a better world where people would be more compassionate and less manipulative. Yeah Equestria has problems too but at least in that fictional realm they defeat their warlords, they do something about it instead of a failed voting system that billionaires own and profit from warfare.

in My Little Pony FIM magic can be used but advanced types of spells have to be learned, they're not naturally given, as they should be, that said in my fanfic at least I would not have to worry about the erasure of a universe because a mage decided to open up a book they were not familiar with. and any force of divinity that creates spells like that does not deserve their powers in the first place.

I still cannot believe how rubbish magic is in DC Universe, how did it get to the point of sending a little girl to Hell because a mage on the side of good had his spell backfire? some drawbacks are acceptable, but not this, this is idiotic IMO. I guess gods in DC suck so much that they have no safeguards in place to prevent that. But this is not even the most egregious example of magic going wrong, the erasure of a multiverse because of incompetence of deities, is. Spectre is one of my least favourite characters as he had the nerve to punish Constantine for a problem he could have stopped.

at least nobody choked here, what people posted on this page, not foods I'd be eating. Though I could eat some onion with lettuce, tomato and vinegar but I'd have to prepare it first. I ate peanuts earlier though.
