    Tirek smashes the ground in a fit of rage when struggling in the fight against Twilight Sparkle, damn, Tirek is one heck of a sore loser. lol He started this chaos, and he doesn't like not getting his own way, which makes this battle all the more sweeter IMO.

    No idea, I have not watched Jimmy Neutron. I think Twilight Sparkle is capable of creative ways to use her spells though, think of Alicorn Princess Twilight Sparkle, ending up in the 21st century Earth, she could use magic that gives her dragon/fire breath, use it with her telekinesis to heat up a metal rod until it is super red hot, and then launch it to impale armour of robots or tanks, disabling them.

    If I was in Equestria fantasy world, I would appreciate Twilight Sparkle's help in stopping Tirek as much as anypony else. She is one of my favourite fictional female heroes. In some ways she reminds me of Wonder Woman from DC, she is not afraid to give a brutal bashing to somebody who truly deserves it, like a tyrant who is threatening to rob citizens of their freedom.

    Though I normally agree with people when they say MLP characters should resolve their conflict without violence, the reason why I think the battle of the season 4 finale of Friendship is Magic worked is because diplomacy does not work on every villain, an important lesson that episode showed well. It's not comparable to the screaming and muscles thing used in Dragonball Z at all. At least MLP duels don't last several episodes and involve excessive power ups. It spices things up a bit compared to the constant reliance on elements of harmony in MLP, which does get boring very quick, and I'd argue is worse than using lasers. Though Tirek was invulnerable to Twilight's alicorn ray, Twilight Sparkle may as well had tried to wear him down because at the beginning of the fight bargaining with him was not going to happen, she lasted just long enough to force him into a moment of cowardice, which did help.

    Not an MLP song, but sure fits this fight scene well in my opinion. Twilight Sparkle vs Tirek in MLP Twilight's Kingdom episode, with Find your Flame song from Sonic Frontiers.

    Megas XLR did use DBZ style explosion gags, you're right, and in episode Universal Remote it worked well, because it fits the level of Coop's incompetence, where he would destroy a city just to get his remote back, which is what makes it so funny. DBZ style gags were also used in My Little Pony episode Twilight's Kingdom, which depicted Twilight Sparkle's ascension as an Alicorn Princess. My reaction was like "Magic in Equestria sure is dangerous when it can be used to nuke a town."

    Poweramp, been using it for my music playback on my android phone. Great file support, is stable, and one of the best things about it is it runs even when you put the phone in lock screen. Cannot do that with browser appls like Google Chrome, if the phone is locked, it will deactivate interrupting a song you were listening to.

    Reminiscing on the BFG movie by Roald Dahl, it makes you consider yourself fortunate that dangerous life forms from fantasy worlds cannot just leap out of that realm to hurt us in real life. A be careful for what you wish for moment. Yes, fantasy creatures might seem cool by watching them on animation, but wishing for their existence even though you know that it's impossible, well a movie like that gives you pause about it. I have the same feeling toward Flight of Dragons movie. You wouldn't want Ommadon to attempt to use real life politicians to cause a war, would you? I am pretty sure nobody in our world would want human eating giants from the BFG movie to actually hurt us, either, and thank goodness they are non existent. Kind of makes me feel awkward about My Little Pony FIM fan fiction sometimes too. I mean, the souls reincarnation thing, is basically a fantasy of more potential victims for a Changeling Queen in various different timelines. But it is not like the real world does not have any dangerous predators either, from big cats like Cougars and Jaguars, to carnivorous reptiles like crocodiles and alligators. And although weapons keep humans reasonably well guarded from creatures like that, other humans are still a problem because of our species tendency for conflict and violence, not all humans are criminal, but honestly the state of our world is not very good.

    I like the BFG movie, Big Friendly Giant by Roald Dahl. At first, what seemed like a kidnapping of Sophie was actually BFG's attempt to protect her from the other giants. Blessing in disguise as it were, Sophie even at her young age had information which was useful in defeating them.

    I don't get bothered my the continuous notifications from this thread, I cannot assume the same for everybody else however I would say people are being polite here so that would explain why no problems arose from this. The ability to turn off thread notifications could be helpful for some people, though, if they wish to disengage with a thread without adding somebody to an ignore list. I thank you so much for this, I had already made a list of appreciated users who I frequently discuss topics with. Not sure I need to do it again, unless there's a significant change in that number of people, I suppose not. Consider it implied though, as I do love everybody here on this forum.

    Dragonball, Dragonball Z, Dragonball GT, some of Super, but lost interest. A combination of factors drove me and one of my other friends away from the series, this was exacerbated by the growing incompetence of the main characters. Goku's supposed to be a seasoned warrior but cannot do something as simple as putting a tag on a jar? genocidal gods, while nobody considers that to be a problem, Goku makes friends with somebody who can obliterate his existence with a thought, Zeno, among many other things like resurrecting Frieza who continued to be a problem in Broly movie, that was the final straw for me, I don't find this entertaining. In some stories incompetence of the hero can be funny but it depends on the context, like in the western show Megas XLR, of course Coop is a fool that gets lucky, that was intentional direction of the plot, but with Goku in Dragonball, it isn't, it feels forced. Goku did foolish things in Dragonball GT but at least he had the sense to eliminate threats, some character growth and wisdom was shown and he was less tolerant of villainy which is why he threatened to kill Eis Shenron for using his granddaughter Pan as a shield, in Super he lacks awareness, simple as that. I watched Pokemon Indigo and Orange League anime in their entirety but that was a long time ago. I got Fist of the North Star on DVD, I will watch it when I am in the mood for it.

    Thinking of getting a balanced headphone cable, normally I would not care much for those, however cheap portable music players have low power output.

    I have a fear of vomit, emetophobia, and blood if it's real blood, one reason I cannot stand that, got into a panic attack once after a blood test, which then brought on an epileptic seizure many years ago, yes I am diagnosed with epilepsy as well. What a cruddy combination, anxiety disorders and epilepsy. I have to turn away when having my blood taken.

    I couldn't help but notice how Ponies in Equestria seem to have superhuman levels of durability Twilight Sparkle has repeatedly been in situations which would have caused any normal human a concussion, a serious one that could have resulted in death. She trots away from it as if she had been in a pillow fight, or as in this image, knocked out, ding ding ding! sorry I had to make that boxing bell reference!

    People made a lot of criticism about Pinkie Sense, as if to say it was inherently Twilight Sparkle's fault that something about Pinkie Pie's "pinkie sense" was not explained even having magic in the fictional world of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic creates a lot of unexplained phenomenon, that laboratory experiments will not have all of the answers for. The problem with that episode wasn't Twilight Sparkle, it was an audience who failed to realize shows like this are created with suspense of disbelief in mind, and while it is not in the same genre as say Tom and Jerry or Looney Tunes, we're talking about a fantasy world with Alicorns that have the power over the day and night cycle.

    Thank Apple Bloom for making Mane Six realize that. It was shown in that episode that Zecora had healing powers, when she made a potion to repair Apple Bloom's chipped tooth. Not that it's any excuse however Mane Six had been cautious about magical threats ever since the Nightmare Moon fiasco, so you kind of understand why they were afraid that another outside force may try to usurp the security of their kingdom. They needed to understand that spreading rumours are not helpful. Twilight Sparkle took that lesson with her in Luna Eclipsed, when she disciplined Pinkie Pie for scaring other Ponies in Ponyville into thinking Princess Luna had come to eat them.

    I like that show because of cute characters. Also Friendship is Magic used known fantasy creatures such as griffins, dragons and phoenixes. Zecora is a Zebra but even she used magic sometimes. But that led to the unfortunate misguided accusation of her being an "evil enchantress".

    Deep Learning from Nvidia comes to mind here, I agree that games should be better optimized so that fake frames are not needed as much, however games will continue to be developed more demanding from generation to generation because like other things, technology changes. AI generates some decent antialiasing though, so there's that, it's better than using FXAA which is garbage, it removes jagged edges where they should not be, but it does so at the expense of blurred textures and it looks a mess.

    Nobody with any taste in art would consider that art either, duct tape anything to a wall, is just stupid, it's zero creativity and possibly created for clickbait or views. At least with AI you sort of have to tell it what to do before it knows what to work on, but a duct taped banana to a wall is no more of an art than a gold plated turd. Sometimes things are created for a scam, and a scam unfortunately works well for people who will be fooled into buying useless overpriced items, like the junk Donald Trump sells people, spray painted sneakers which sell 400$ a pair, for Trump, it was an easy way to make money, people buy junk thinking its art for some reason. and creativity is only part of what makes art what it is, how it looks and what it is matters just as much. AI can sometimes make something look decorative, and it does have some economic value, AI also required skilled programmers to develop the technology, duct taped banana to a wall or gold spray painted sneakers is laughable.
