I got to say Peter Dickenson in the movie Flight of Dragons reminds me a little of myself, he dreamed of being in a fantasy world as well, but when he actually did get his wish within the movie's story, it wasn't all what it seemed, and he had a choice to make, sacrifice his dream, or let Ommadon win, in the end he chose science over magic, but it came at a significant cost, and he was removed from the world of wizards and dragons forever.

Pinkie Pie at her best in my opinion. Everyone needs a hug once in a while, take care of your family, it does not make you childish to show vulnerability, be honest about your feelings, both for yourself and others and love your friends in a way you'd want to be treated.

If I were in that fantasy world of MLP FIM and was approached by Queen Chrysalis I'd probably say something like "I feel like a fish in a bowl that is being circled by a cat!" that may sound cowardly to say but the overwhelming fear of what she might do, well, that may leave some people questioning why I would want to be in that world. No world is perfect, people, if I could be reborn in that fictional world knowing there's a chance this could happen, I'd take that risk, what's an adventure without the challenge? moreover, friendship also means sharing their burdens, IMO.

Pinkie Pie is such a cutie <3 Her bouncy and playful personality is one reason why it's hard for me to pick favourites with Mane Six from MLP FIM. I could not stay angry at her, look I know I may get called foolish for saying this, but yes, if I were in that fantasy world as her friend, I'd accept her for who she is, not what I want her to be. Even if she did something which irked me from time to time, like accidentally bumping into me and knocking me over, I'd still find a way to forgive her. Friendship also means not being too judgmental about quirks of others.

Some of the best soundtracks were in movies or video games. But even non movie songs I find it relaxing to listen to Omah Lay - Soso I recommend Bandcamp, great music distribution site, lossless file encoding, and they don't charge too much either. -
Imagine if the fictional character Twilight Sparkle from MLP were to reform criminals in our world with mind control. That's a situation like in the A Clockwork Orange movie I think.

Got a new mp3 player coming, a better one this time, at an affordable price, nothing fancy, just something that works. My other one failed but it's not a problem, I had a good amount of use out of it, has served me well, helping to manage anxiety at doctor appointments, blood tests etc. I did not get a Sony Walkman this time but those things last a good long time, I recommend them for people who want a portable music player on the cheap but is almost guaranteed to last past its warranty period.

if songs like Black Eyed Peas Where is the Love could not stop people from supporting perpetual conflict, I doubt shows like My Little Pony Friendship is Magic could either, human nature is simply too flawed. Me and @Night Sky wished we could be reborn in the fictional world of MLP FIM not just because of cute characters, it's because while they're not perfect either, they seem to be more spiritually elevated than people IRL, by this I mean ethics, not religion. People have had ample chances to stop supporting war and division like racism, sexism and transphobia, but they keep doing it. The only thing we can do is limit the influence of the toxicity of others on our lives, we can never truly get rid of it. That's just how it is. -
Ponyville probably, depends, I don't know how this would unfold as nobody could ever be in Equestria to find out. Even my MLP FIM fan fiction does not make imaginary things, real. So it's not possible for me to say for sure which province of Equestria I'd settle in if I could be reborn there. It would depend on how you are raised, where you work, friends you make. Work is usually a deciding factor on where you live.

Gilda is rude and mean, her attitude toward Fluttershy as far as I can tell was uncalled for and selfish. I'm not holding that against Rainbow Dash because she did not tell Gilda to do all this, and I honestly would not see why she would do. But her taste in friends could use a little work. Not only does it reflect poorly on her character to take her problems out on Fluttershy, but Gilda should not have taken whatever problems she may have had with Pinkie Pie out on other Ponies in Ponyville. Gilda is hardly the worst character in the series, but she is not good either, I know, because I have dealt with individuals like her in real life, mean humans who are hyper aggressive and use intimidation tactics to get what they want, just because they believe themselves to be better by their own self sense of privilege. Her first introduction to Fluttershy and this is how she treats her, Fluttershy was minding her own business, not doing any harm. I'm not going to let that one go easily just because Pinkie Pie kept showing up at the wrong place at the wrong time. -

Those dreadlocks-like quills Knuckles has rock! I like him, if he had a human form he would definitely be black. Knuckles is one of my favourite characters in Sonic franchise, along with Metal Sonic, Tails, Amy, Rouge, Shadow and Sonic himself. Team Chaotix also get my vote, although they're not really used as much in the series, their private eye detective agency occupation in Sonic Heroes intrigued me, especially with their antics adding comedy to the situation. Vector scolding Charmy for being annoying at Hang Castle was funny IMO. -
I like edgy stories sometimes, it just depends on the context or what the plot is about. If it's meant to be whimsical like My Little Pony then that just doesn't fit. Some people get shamed for liking this especially adults. But that is not right, it is cruel and unfair to shame people for liking cute things. MLP FIM is too popular to be considered a minority thing, but even if it was a minority thing I'd still love it. To abandon this to me, would be like abandoning principles of unity and friendship, I'd still care about friends, however abandoning my support for MLP just because of others judgement of me, would be wrong. Showing defiance is what's needed here, even if people consider us weak or immature, or call us losers. It's more brave in my opinion, to like something whimsical even if you know others may judge you for it. Other than MLP, other whimsical stories I like are Legend 1985, Flight of Dragons and Labyrinth. Legend 1985 would be considered a guilty pleasure for me because it wasn't exactly a critically acclaimed film, but it does have a fandom that supports it and praise it for what it set out to do. Tell a tale about two unicorns that have the power to keep the world in balance as long as they live, while a villain in the story, Darkness, wants an eternal night so he can rule forever.

Rainbow Dash in MLP despite her flaws I could imagine a lasting and healthy friendship occurring with her if we were in that fictional world. Even at her worst in episodes I've seen, her crimes amounted to petty theft and property destruction. Now compare that to crimes people often get away with in real life, simply because they are billionaires and know how to cheat the legal system. I'd side with RD by a landslide, there is no comparison here, I'm not saying crimes are cool, however some behaviours are more tolerable than others. She did not reach the point where I would say "That's it, we're done, go away."

Rainbow Dash in the fictional world of MLP can be brash at times, but the teasing received by her is tame compared to the abuse we may get from some people in real life IMO. I could put up with the occasional name calling from her, it may sting, but sometimes she berates others because someone else did something reckless, like her parents launching fireworks at her, where it's more understandable. RD has flaws herself but she is not evil, she would not put me in a hospital for saying something she did not agree with. I could see a friendship lasting with her if I could exist in that fictional world. Not all friendships are like that IRL, yes, some can last a lifetime and those are the friendships we treasure the most, but some other friendships end miserably and can turn into violent situations.

People like to point out the flaws with MLP characters in hindsight but compare their issues to our ones in real life Too bad Mane Six don't exist to give us humans a dose of humble pie for this. Our species, developed weapons of mass destruction that could potentially lead to our extinction, it couldn't get any more irrational than that. I don't believe we are in any position to complain about what bad decisions the Monarchy created in the fictional world of Equestria. I've seen far more incompetence in the real world, people kill for religion and money.

I don't blame you, I'd do it too, on the condition I got to reunite with loved one's from a past life in Nirvana someday, but for that I would need to put some effort in my growth in that fantasy world scenario, same as everybody else, it cannot be a shallow reward, it has to be earned through consistent acts of kindness and maturity, and those acts have to be motivated by concern for others, not self gain. I'm so sick of the world I am in, for the reasons you mentioned. Genocidal governments, the threat of nuclear war, climate change and division that leads to our human rights being trampled on. People just don't seem to learn from their mistakes either, the same problem that got Adolf Hitler elected, still exists now. So it's like, whatever, I'm so done with this world, unfortunately there is no afterlife, this is all we've got. I do agree with you that if in a non existent scenario, we got our wish, if we could exist in that fantasy world, then my future would be becoming a Pegasi in FIM multiverse I don't know which type of Pony you would pick but really, it does not matter as long as your right to autonomy got respected, in my fan fiction, souls choose their destination of rebirth if approved by gatekeepers of that realm, Luna being a gatekeeper of her own domain.

I mean that's kind of a reason why I wrote my MLP fan fiction, which is nowhere near finished yet but its a story about some souls getting reincarnated into alternate timeline Equestria. Of course just a fantasy, Bardo and Nirvana are Buddhist concepts, nothing more. But @Night Sky here agreed that these concepts fit the tone of Friendship is Magic at least in a fan fiction. Things like redemption, unity and pursuit of wisdom are still in both, it's just handled in a different way, and nobody treats MLP like a religion. Giving up social media to me would be a small price to pay to exist in a fantasy world like that. I don't know what I would do instead however I cannot imagine it being Hell. Some people might consider it to be torture to exist in that fantasy world, but not me, I've already had a few other adults tell me the same. It would be liberating, we'd be encouraged to get out more, engage in healthier relationships with our friends and not stir up unnecessary drama behind other people's backs, the existence of magic in that fantasy world scenario would sweeten the deal, if used wisely.

and the obsession with technology has had negative effect on some people, there's a phenomenon called doom scrolling, known to contribute to increased stress and sleepless nights for people of different age groups. I'm not informed on all of the ins and outs of this however experts have told people that this is not healthy and that spending too long on social media each day can cause harm, also over exposure to blue light from displays can lead to problems like insomnia, this is why blue light filters are used to reduce (but not completely block as this is impractical) blue light reaching the retinas so that the brain can release melatonin during night hours. Would people want that behaviour to be normalized in a fictional world like Equestria? not only does it carry these implications, it would be incredibly boring to watch Ponies blog each other on Facebook all day. Magic on the other hand keeps the sense of wonder in their fantasy world, magic isn't perfect, but it doesn't lead to negative behaviours I mentioned earlier, or the stupidity with situations like texting while driving. Yes, with the right application technology is a good thing, but when it is not used responsibly it can have devastating effects on people's lives.

I cannot help but be sceptical of future generations of My Little Pony, one person pondered what if technology were used instead of magic. Technology is cool and all, but it has its limitations, limits that are not good. It cannot resurrect the dead, a feat impossible in real life for obvious reasons, and and while science is good at proving what happened in history, some evidence in history was destroyed, hence unsolved crimes. I'd be in favour of an MLP G6 if it had some composite of the two, but having watched Friendship is Magic/G4 and going onto an MLP series that has none of that, is going to feel pretty jarring. The idea of having Unicorns which are mythological beings from European folklore, be without magic is going to feel very strange to me.

I am aware some people were not fond of Princess Luna and Princess Celestia turning Chrysalis, Cozy Glow and Tirek into stone in season 9, but it's their own fault anyway, especially Chrysalis and Tirek. They had multiple chances to redeem and each time they exploited the good nature of others for their own benefit. If Discord had crossed the line this much, it would be the same for him. No, I don't blame Luna and Celestia for acting in this way to defend their kingdom, even in the case of Cozy Glow, she was far too powerful for them to take a chance on, and if they could not remove her powers, what else do you suggest they had done with her? if Luna and Celestia had not taken decisive action to deal with the problem, y'all would be complaining that Celestia and Luna put others lives and freedoms in jeopardy, just because they felt sorry for her.

For all the criticisms Princess Celestia from MLP gets, I have seen characters from other fictions behave far worse than her, and destroy for more selfish reasons. If I were in the fictional place called Equestria I would at least be confident I and my friends would not be targeted for elimination by Celestia, as long as I did not do something terrible. In some other fictional worlds, their so called protectors are not so protective, as been established, the world of Dragonball is broken, with selfish gods and inept heroes. I would not enjoy being in the fictional world of DC Universe either, since they let their villains kill again and again like in the Injustice movie.

I think Zen-Oh from Dragonball Super sucks and is overrated. I don't care how child like he is, he still has far too much power for a responsibility he was given. And Dragonball characters are so inept they go along with it as if that doesn't even matter and was one of the fundamental reasons why I lost interest in Dragonball. It's not funny, at all. You think Princess Celestia from Hasbro's My Little Pony FIM is as inept as this? think again. She may have flaws of her own but she would never be as this reckless with her own kingdom. She doesn't erase souls just because others said something to upset her.
