  1. We all seem to forget that this is Hasbro and they just want their money. Target audience: small children. Shining Armour and Cadance were introdued completely out of the blue. No prior information, no foreshadowing. Just suddenly "Oh hey a wedding with my big bro and another alicorn princess ha cool" and "oh hey that thousand year old threat that enslaved a race of ponies that we never mentioned apart from today is back in the crystal empire which we also never mentioned apart from today and we need the crystal heart which we also never mentioned apart from today" A pony wedding playset=money. They already turned Twi into an alicorn. Alicorn Twi toys. Now Twi will get married, and we'll get Alicorn Twi Wedding toys. And considering the finale is called "Twilight's Kingdom", she'll probably have some castle playset as well. Ah yes, the future is bright.
  2. Yep. He's been there since the start of S4, which is when they revamped the opening.
  3. I think it's just a personality/stature thing. Or just how DHX likes to draw them. Either way, eye shapes can drastically change how a pony looks. Same with mane styles. Rarity is a pretty (in pony standards) pony, so she has the more feminine looking eyes with more eyelashes. Fluttershy is gentle and has gentle looking eyes (eyelashes curve downward). AJ, Pinks and RD have oval eyes because neither are extremely feminine. As for Twilight, I haven't really seen any other ponies with eye shapes like her. Thinking about it now, it's probably because she's destined to be a Princess; Luna, Celestia, and Cadance all have unique feminine eye shapes. I was going to open photoshop and eyeswap all the ponies, but I'm on a new laptop and don't have photoshop on it yet. I'll get around to it.
  4. So this is a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory situation then. Celestia found grey hairs in her unexplained rainbow flow mane, so she started her School for Golden Tickets Gifted Unicorns to find the next ruler of the chocolate factory Equestria, she just needs to put her through a series of oompa loompa song ridden candy making rooms tests to see if she's the chosen one. But what about Luna?
  5. I thought Haku from Spirited Away was a girl. I think it's the hair. I also thought James from Thomas the Tank Engine was female for quite a while.
  6. Hello, hello. Welcome to the Forums. You'll fit in just fine.

  11. Everyone on the internet has a sense of superiority and self-importance.
  12. You get teary eyed over the loss of fellow human beings. No, there's nothing wrong with that. Take my word with a grain of salt though, I honestly have no feelings towards anything like this. 9/11 was horrible, don't get me wrong, but it envokes no emotion in me. Same with the Boston Bombings, or school shootings, or anything like that. "And I can't believe anyone would want to do such a terrible thing..but why should I care? Everytime I look around this place, I see them scream but I hear no sound, and the terrible things happen down the road to someone else that I don't even know.. Nothing bad ever happens to me.. ..Why should I care?"
  13. Bronies are a dying breed. Argue all you want. It'll happen regardless. Also, I absolutely hate hate hate HATE Sherlock, Dr. Who, Supernatural, and Hannibal. Good lord, do I hate Hannibal. (Hipster rant incoming) There's a whole damn fandom around it. "I love Hannibal!" "What's Silence of the Lambs? Who's Anthony Hopkins?" If you don't know who Anthony Hopkins is and you're in the Hannibal fandom, I hope something you love catches on fire. Don't like summer either. Too bright and warm. Or relationships. I agree with you both, however Oingo Boingo is my favourite band and is from the 80's. One of my favourite songs. ^ Feel free to argue with me there, but take a gander at my Danny Eflman Appreciation thread first then decide it's a bad idea.
  14. Unless I was mistaken (very likely), I heard the plane went off-course before it disappeared. It was speculated that it was hijacked, was it not? Either way, my condolences to the families. Horrid situation either way.

  16. Nightmare Moon probably would've killed Celestia if she hadn't cheated with the Elements and the time-out on the moon.
  17. @, I think her flying in from the side was her coming back from raising the moon. As it's been said, it'd make no sense for her to sleep on the moon. Unless she needs to be on the moon for her Freddy Krueger powers to work. I'd like more insight on how her dreamwalking works.
  18. Wouldn't be hard. I doubt she'd be able to fight off Odahviing AND someone who's a Master in all categories of Magic. I bet Shrek could kill Celestia.
