  1. Yup lol ignorance is bliss. The game is so much more complicated now. I look up deck builds online to play, and some of these cards have like a paragraph description. You really have to know your deck before you can play it well :/
  2. I also enjoy the real life interaction. I remember the days back in elementary school where we brought out decks and attempted to play Yu-Gi-Oh on the park benches during recess (Of course none of us knew how to actually play).
  3. You're lucky you even have a card shop near you :/ I got nothing. Which is why i usually just resort to online TCGing because I have no friends to play with lol
  4. I have the same problem lol I always have no one to play with, Pokemon especially. I mean I could play online and stuff but it's not the same as playing in real life. And there's no card/comic shops around me where nerds can gather up and play :/ Same, as a youngster I was a Yu-Gi-Oh guy. I sold mine eventually though, no longer have them.
  5. Well recently I've been looking into some trading card games to play. I started with Pokemon but I felt like the game was too much luck, too easy, and was a pay to win game. Now I've been looking at Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic, but still deciding which one I like better. See, Yu-Gi-Oh offers unlimited matches (besides the small list of banned cards) but Magic takes more skill and offers a more mature strategic community. By the way, I hate when TCGs have a modified play style and they ban every card except the new ones. So anyway, what trading card game(s) do you play? Edit: Spelling
  6. Nope, watch it late at night when everyone is sleeping. Although I can usually hear when people leave their room or come up the steps. Then it's time to stare at the desktop!
  7. Cotton Blossom. Well that's a pretty cool name, flows nicely too. Sounds like a name that should be an actual character on the show
  8. Atheist here. Although my views aren't religious, I never try to argue with someone who is religious and try to persuade their views. Since this thread is just for atheist though, I'll share what i think. Personally, I think that "God" and "Heaven" are their for people comfort. For example if someone close to you dies, then it's comforting to know that their happy and safe in Heaven with God. I may not think that, but it brings comfort to people who do. Also, Christians state that God created the universe. So a mystical all knowing person just was there before anything and made the Earth, the sun, people and animals just with a snap of his fingers? Right. My final argument is there is no solid proof of God. No evidence says God is real. I have a lot more to say, but I'll stop here.
  9. Any person of any age can enjoy an awesome show like My Little Pony. There's no special age, welcome to the herd! I'm sure that the person you were watching was saying that majority of the community is 14 and up, but any age is welcome.
  10. Title pretty much says it all. What's the best part about being a brony? The best part of being a brony for me is being able to talk to an understanding and kind community. This community and fanhood has taken me away from a lot of problems I've had in life, mostly loneliness in particular. This show is more than just a show, it's a 30 minute paradise away from the evils and realities of society. So now it's your turn, what's your favorite part about being a brony?
  11. Well my parents accepted it... but they just thought it was weird and teased me about it time to time. Same thing with friends. Eventually I left the herd for a while and just joined back, this time I'm going to be a closet brony though...
  12. Hug Twilight Sparkle. Why are ponies so awesome?
  13. These include sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, and any other websites you can think of. If you are unsure if a profile on a certain website is a social network, see if the website obeys this definition- Social Network Site: Any website that enables users to create public profiles within that Web site and form relationships with other users of the same Web site who access their profile. Social networking sites can be used to describe community-based Web sites, online discussions forums, chatrooms and other social spaces online.
  14. Because that player is currently hanging out in the 12th dimension. Where is the portal to Equestria?
  15. For a while I only listened to brony music. It was really hard to explain to people when they asked the question, "What kind of music do you listen to?" And it was REALLY awkward when me parents looked at my Ipod... Although later I started to explore other genres, and now we're here.
