  1. I would be interesting in writing the script, or at least parts of the script! You could also count on me for story board-esque art if you really needed!
  2. ... You're right. This is absolutely absurd and ridiculous. I don't DOUBT America could *someday* collapse in on itself, but I would doubt it happening during the lifetime of my generation. What makes this worse, though, is that you ask such a horribly negative and dark question (which makes you sound like an anti-American from a different country) and yet you don't even put what country you're FROM! Seriously, dude... It may or may not happen, but I like to personally live in the now, and not worry about the distant future. If I asked this about any other country, I'd be labeled racist or whatever because I'm American. There's a huge double standard, but I'm calling out on it. Stop being so negative.
  3. This was less a god-send (like I've heard it is for some p-people) and more of an escape. Right as the show started really taking off, my mother was dying (and then died) from lung cancer (sorry if my plight ruined your happy times). By the time she had passed I had already begun to consider myself a Brony. When she died, I dove head first into it. It made me feel good to be surrounded by people and to watch the show when I was sad. They always had a good ending to their day, and so it helped to have that bit of positivity. in my life at the time. It was my one constant in a world that had suddenly come crashing down on me,. So, this show holds more than a strange obsession for me, it's heled me to escape a bad situation. And now that I'm in a good situation, I can really appreciate it.

  5. Well this isn't exactly my shop. I did this for some fun, I normally don't do requests. I am, however, always open for commissions!
  6. Amazing is a strong word, but thank you for the compliment!
  7. Bumping this! Peeps, I have not done much with this because for about three-four months, I've had no computer access! D: the horror!!! HORROR! However, I am back and I'm getting back to the inverts! Brohoof this if you're on the list and see this.
  8. Lace had been silent a good portion of the time, keeping her eyes and ears open for any danger around. Eyes did not dance, they glinted with seriousness. She looked up at the war pony, nodding. "They'll all be distracted for a while I'm betting." she said as she shouldered her rifle, looking up at the police station. "What are we getting here?" she asked, quickly tightening her ponytail.
  9. Lace sighed, listening to what was being said. A raid on the police station? And the arms store? She turned, finding her hair tie and putting long tresses up in a high pony tail. Hunting rifle in front of her tent still mounted, she took it off, checking the ammo- and reloading if she needed. Back holster was taken from a shelf, and with skill she put it on. "I'll go with either group." were her only words. Sweets didn't speak for a while, looking at her hooves. "I-I'll stay." she muttered, ears pressing back against her head. "I wouldn't be of much use to any pony out there."
  10. Lace had lain beside Missy through the night, waking up slowly with the smell of food and talking ponies. She smiled to the unicorn beside her, lifting a hoof to feel her forehead- if only to be sure! "Good morning." she spoke to the group, standing slowly and shaking out her loose mane. Sweets had fallen asleep by another tent, waking up quickly and preening- her wings were really starting to hurt. Her teeth combed through her feathers, her orange wings slowly looking a bit better.
  11. Sweets nodded, understanding what the filly was going through. "I used to draw." she chuckled. "Seems worthless now I guess." she felt so useless with an artistic talent, but her creative mind still remained. She could put it to use, if she stopped being so afraid.
  12. Sweets tilted her head, surprised at this young filly's outspokenness. "I don't know if anything has ever happened to Lace or not, but I don't question it unless it's brought up. Everyone has had something happen to them since this all started." she sighed, nibbling at her wingtips idly. She hadn't preened in weeks.
  13. Sweets tilted her head, shaking it. "No, Lace isn't my sister." she chuckled weakly. "She found me barricaded in my house. My real sister got lost." she shrugged slowly, trying to make it roll off her mind in the process. "Lace is protective of anyone younger than her. She's really been defensive since this whole thing started."
  14. "It's sweet of you to offer. But I'm okay, really..." Sweets looked away, ears pressed back. She hated being weak, and now wasn't the time to break down. She looked to Missy, an odd half smile on her face while trembling hoof rubbed her left leg. She had to keep believing she'd be okay, otherwise she wouldn't be.
  15. Sweets looked to Missy in surprise, wings flying open. "Ah..." she understood alright, but was surprised such a young pony knew and used the words 'emotional duress' so easily. "No, I'm fine." she said, managing a small smile. It trembled briefly, before fading.
  16. Sweets sighed as Arial fluttered about, gasping out as he kicked at an oddly placed ball. She sighed shakily. Ever since all this had started, she had been nervous. The Pegasus had had to kill her own aunt Jaded Blonde when she began to change. Stabbing her repeatedly with a kitchen knife, discarding the weapon and barricading herself in her room. She met Lace days later, who saw her shaking by the window. Now, Sweets couldn't stop her hooves from shaking, from her mind to race and think of the worst ends... Lace sighed, knowing she wouldn't be able to get the gun away from Missy anytime soon. Maybe they could compromise. She hated the idea of some pony so young holding a firearm. The tall mare walked to the camp area, looking about. Sweets was there, unsure of herself as always. "Where are you, little dears?" Lace called lightly, not wanting to stir anything that may have been listening.
  17. Lace, happy Missy had overcome her bout of unconsciousness, would look the other way, deciding the best route to go. There were five ponies; two young, one injured, and two adults. She sighed briefly, walking around the store-sticking close by the young unicorn- when she heard gunshot! She gasped out, trotting to her charge with shock plastered on her face. "What are you doing?" she asked, ears pressed back. To see a weapon in her young hooves, Lace's eyes widened. "Dear, let's put the safety back on that thing. You don't need a gun. Let someone older handle it." she swallowed, hating the site of this filly holding a firearm! Sweets meanwhile was too preoccupied with the explosion, gasping out in shock. "I suppose -we're- safe. I hope the others are alright, and didn't get caught in that explosion." she felt her wings flitter nervously, unkempt wings trembling. She stood, looking down at Arial Flame. "You stay put, okay?" she asked, turning. "I'm try and find more things to barricade the hole with." ((Sorry for my lack of posting! I'm so horrible with checking Safari on my phone! I'll be glad to have the comp back))
  18. The sounds of gunfire and shouting caused Lace to run in that direction, stopping short when noting the entryway for the zombies, and then... The mutated beast! She was frozen, half hidden, when the young unicorn lodged a blade into into its neck! The tall mare would run over when it was all over. She spoke no words, checking over Missy intently. "I'm starting to wonder if we need to leave here altogether." she said softly, ears back. She leans down, scooping the young filly up. "Though I'll admit I'm growing tired of such young ponies running about so recklessly." she sighed in frustration at herself, her senses having been dazed and confused since so many new ponies entered. Sweets, meanwhile, would be with Arial Flame, following closely. "Do-don't you think you should be more careful?" she asked him, checking his wounds. She stood close, checking on the injured Thunder. 'This place has gone insane. There are too many ponies just running around and doing things. We need to organize...' she thought quietly, worry creased her youthful face.
  19. Lace, having heard enough of this expedition, would stand, heading toward the tent. She had to make sure there were enough rounds in her own weapon; when she heard the scream. One never saw a mare move so quickly, and on strong hooves. "Missy?!" she had gotten there in the after math, trotting over to envelope the young one in a hug. "Are you alright?! Oh, hearing you scream frightened me half to death!" a hoof stroked through the two toned mane, fear in bright pink eyes. Sweets had decided to stay, thinking over this group's plan. "How are we going to know when you return? Surely there's a way for you all to let us know you're back." she interjected, or tried to, before getting up to the sounds of rifle shot and screaming. She cantered up to Frozen, placing a hoof on the pony's shoulder. "Are you alright?"
  20. (This post is made irrelevant by a level head quicker than me ^^; pay no mind to it) Lace could only nod, sitting beside her young unicorn friend. She looked at Broken, thankful for his level head. "You are right. We need more supplies; not to mention time for these young ones to heal. But we can't stay here forever." she spoke with a sigh, ears pressed back in worry. "But if we leave, we have to make sure we can survive and fend them off until we can find more of whatever we need." Sweets joined in, grasping her scarf with a hoof as she remembered those most precious to her.
  21. (OOC: hey guys, after this I'll probably not post for the rest of the night. We had something bad happen today, and I'm just too tired and down.) Lace looked down, before tilting her head. "I think for now we're alright, dumpling. Just relax and rest your hooves." she spoke with a tenderness, looking out to the smoking heat and wandering undead outside.
  22. Sweets nodded, sighing. "Same here. My coltfriend got separated from me when this first started." she looked away, before shaking her head. "But I can't think about that right now. I have to worry that I'll survive or not." Lace nodded, stroking Missy's mane again. "My parents were in Manehattan. Hopefully, they're okay." even though they hadn't spoken or written to her in years, she thought sadly. Parents were parents, she supposed, taking down fiery red strands of mane. "But for now, my number one concern is making sure you're okay, pudding pop." she smiled once more.
  23. Sweets looked up, jumping in surprise at the odd question from the effeminate Pegasus. "Um... No? My brother's name is Quickfire." she said seriously, tilting her head. "Last I saw him, he was one of them..." she nodded, sighing sadly. "He's a unicorn zombies, but it's hard to tell the difference between him alive and now."
  24. Lace could not contain the tender smile, lightly squeezing Missy's hoof. "Of course, dear... I wouldn't leave you alone. Us girls have to stick together, right?" with this and a big reassuring smile, the mare lightly pushed her head against the unicorn's, nuzzling briefly. (And nothing for Sweets to do except sit and be okay with all this)
  25. (I'm actually on a phone guys; you guys mentioning me does nothing! ^^; I appreciate you guys wanting me to post. And thanks sweetheart, I'll post right now) Lace, in the daze of these new ponies arriving, had not even noticed Missy suturing the wound of the other young pony. She pulled a face, ears pinned back. "Missy, sweetspindle, you didn't do too bad..." she looked away. "But ask me next time. I suppose I get nervous with other ponies and needles." she laughed weakly, lightly stroking the young filly's mane. Sweets meanwhile, had gone and come back with blanket(though it was a sleeping bag), dazed at the sudden additions to their band. "Oh, I didn't expect so many new faces." she turned to Lace. "Are they all right?" before going over to Arial Flame, draping the sleeping bag over him. "Is he going to be alright?" her messy mane framed her face, concerned. He was just a kid.
