Everypony who is good computers: I installed a game called the sims 2 double deluxe a few years ago, then it crashed and it won't work anymore. I tried to de-install it, nothing happened, just nothing, I tried to erase it, but even then it keeps saying that I have to 'uninstall before I can install again' but even when I erase EVERYTHING nothing will happen. Any ideas? Please?

  I use windows XP on the computer I am on right now xD but I can also run it on windows 7 so that shouldn't be the problem. Is that what you mean?
