  1. This is hand down one of the scariest games I have ever played. Nothing, not even Amnesia, Dead Space or Resident Evil, to me, comes even close to this one here. I hate horror games, but I love that feeling they induce in people. You don't want to be this person. You don't want to be here. You don't want to be doing what they are doing From the very beginning, you want to just turn back and leave this horrible place. But you can't.
  2. Nope, I am just kicking back and enjoying the ride. You see, Windy gets it. Have an opinion and hold to it. Bring a desire, either for more of the same or for a new change. But at the end of the day, after all is said and done, it's still a cartoon about rainbow colored ponies and the magic of friendship. We're only 5 episodes in. We've still got a ways to go, so relax a little.
  3. 8.5/10 Cause Rolling Stones, so why not?
  4. 6.5/10 Sounds pretty chill overall. First 4-5 minutes were basically the same thing though, bit too repetitive for me. Vocals were meh.
  5. This is a mistake that most common folk make; Immediately discounting Magikarp because all he knows is Splash. But this thing... is on a whole other level. He doesn't need anything other than Splash, because his simple lifeless gaze pierces even the most steadfast of trainers and beasts, completely engulfing his prey in a nightmare they brought upon themselves. His gaping mouth imitates the very expression that will forever be left on his victims, to those who believed "He's just a fish." He taunts you. Teases you. Makes you drop your guard because all he seems to do is splash on the ground. You think he's just playing in the water, when it actuality he's tolling the bell, signaling the beginning of the end and the folly of those foolish enough to invoke his wrath, his fury, his rage. You think you know fear? You think you know what it feels like to be afraid? You don't know what fear is until you hear that bone chilling sound echoing through your body, pulsating from ear to ear that eclipses all rational thought and all reason. A sound that slowly drives even the very gods of the Pokemon world to their knees. Splash, splash, splash...
  6. Uh oh, here we go again! Count me in as well. Really looking forward to seeing how this turns out as always!
  7. I'm assuming you are asking these after watching S4, so here we go Maybe it wasn't dangerous back in their time. If you recall, Celestia and Luna fought each other in what looked like a civilized town/castle, probably because their power was enough to keep the forest in check. If you mean during S1, I do not know. Maybe Celestia put them back after using them on Luna out of guilt/fear of something since she did just kinda banish her own sister who she loved with the tools they used together to bring peace and order. Banished does not equal amnesia. 1000 years of grudge holding means some things never go away, including knowledge of the tools Luna used herself that were, eventually, used against her
  8. I actually enjoy the day. Considering my family eats dinner pretty early in the day regardless, I've got time to spare. Here's the thing. I don't camp outside stores for hours on end just to buy something I think I need but actually don't. I instead go a few hours after doors are open to avoid the chaos. If I did the former, it would be for the experience and just mingling with people. Things around where I live are incredibly tame. Stores have everything planned out from numbers to wristbands to separating "valuable" items all over the store so it's not just a clusterfuck over at the electronics section. Will people rush and move their asses to get something? Yeah. Will they trample and stab people for it? Good luck pulling that off without getting your ass handed to you. For me and my friends this night, it was a fun mini road trip, where we hung out, grabbed some drinks, and roamed around. We even picked up some sweet deals over at Gamestop, so I'm pleased at how the night went. Rather than it being a mess where we skipped out on family and a nice dinner, we made it a fun get together. It is what you make of it.
  9. If a giant plant started attacking my friends and I, you know what I'd do? Kill it. I'd kill the shit out of that plant. And after I killed it, I would then question "Why didn't I kill this thing faster?", not "Oh, I'm an unethical person who is evil" It's a plant in the Everfree Forest. Besides, what about Futtershy feeding dead fish to some of her sea animals That egg that was dropped in the Sisterhooves Social Sombra? I'm pretty sure he's like the one person who actually looked like he was killed off Somethings get picked at and get taken a bit too seriously for what they are.
  10. You know, I never realized how freaking weird some episodes were.
  11. During my senior year of High School, they implemented a new english course you could take rather than the generic classes that would fulfill that requirement, which was called Fantasy and Sci-fi. The whole class was one of the best classes I have ever taken in my life, and was made even better by my fantastic teacher, Mr. B, who made everyday an enjoyable one. Aside from my cooking classes, it was probably the only class I was actually excited for. He engaged everyone, and made learning a process that didn't have to be dulled down by handouts and power-points. We read classic stories from both genres, had a few days of us bringing in video games of fantasy and sci-fi, and had an amazing final project where we had to pretend we were newscasters while aliens touched down on Earth. It really only takes one great teacher to turn any subject into an enjoyable one. If I had the same level of enthusiasm and confidence for that class as say, Math or Physics, who knows what would have happened.
  12. No, I don't want to try out the new free number 1 online game I've never heard of. No, I don't want to try out [insert random new pill]. No, I don't care how your sister's mom's cousin's friend is making 6 grand a month just through some website. All I can say, is thank goodness for AdBlocker
  13. Aside from checking out the Festival of Lights in Chicago, I get to celebrate my B-day while watching the new season of MLP. Time to party
  14. I thought I could go one day without reading or seeing something that wouldn't make me cringe or lessen my faith in humanity. Guess that's not gonna happen today.
  15. Superman... Just thinking about that one scene still brings tears to me eyes.
  16. Absolutely love this song. No other tune puts me into the spirit of the holidays than this gem.
  17. WataMote/It's not my fault I'm not Popular. Sweet mother of mercy, I have not cringed so damn hard in my entire life before I took this thing on. Nor have I felt such pity and empathy before. And the feels... don't even get me started on the feels.
  18. I teared up a bit when "Smile Smile Smile" first played. Something about that song just really hit home with me. And of course, there's Celestia's Ballad, which I don't think anyone expected just how powerful that moment would be.
  19. 3/10. After listening to this same song for years on end, it does little now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xCGRDnTySCI
  20. "Alright, new ideas for YouTube. What do we got?" "Wait a minute...wait a minute, hear me out on this one guys! How about we completely change the layout of YouTube so it becomes a metric fuckton harder to navigate than before? And also, let's change the comments section by removing character limits, making only top comments view able and all others hidden under our god-forsaken new layout." "So people can post entire books or stories in the comments without any trouble? That's damn good my friend, damn good. Alright, what else?" "Let's also force people to use their real name on YouTube, and if they don't want to, it's probably because they misclicked the message we have and actually do because we know that they really want to. So lets keep asking them again and again, over and over everyday so they don't forget because we are nice like that." "You mean despite the fact that one of the first rules of the internet you learned as a kid was never to give out personal information like your name and stuff online? And so that everyone can know exactly what you watch and who you are? Alright, I've think we've got something here! Anything else?" "Fuck it, lets make everyone have to have a google+ account so they can sign into YouTube, and if they don't, they can't access their account until they do." *slow clap*
  21. I've played WoW for about 5 years now (not continuously) since Wrath of the Lich King came out. I've also played a little bit of Guild Wars 2 when it first came out, but never got into it (old habits die hard). GW2 has a up front payment but is free to play for the most part. WoW has a upfront cost (game + expansions) as well as the whole $15 a month. When it comes to MMOs, they may seem intimidating at first, because it seems so complex and that so much time is needed to understand how to do things effecitvely. The former isn't true once you do the latter. Time. You're gonna need it. Even if it's only an hour a day, you're gonna have to spend some time working around your classes, understanding what each class can and can't do, what their main role is, how to properly achieve that role, and lots of other goodies. You're gonna have to understand how the world works a bit to get around more easily. Understanding the most optimal method of travel, where items can be located, where enemies can be found, all that good stuff. You'e gonna have to spend time gearing up your toons, learning boss fights if you're gonna head down the PvE route or learning the ins and outs of classes if PvP is your calling. You're also gonna have to understand MMO lingo too, but that will have obvious variations. Understanding your keys and clicks will determine how well you'll play; For most MMO's, macros and key-bindings are the way to go, as they increase visual awareness and reaction time, as well as being simply more effective. Clicking will slow you down. I click. After 5 years, I still click in WoW. I've got some key bindings and macros set up, but the majority is clicking. Why does this matter? Because perhaps the most important things I can tell you about MMO's are don't let them suck you in completely and don't start treating it like a job. The whole point of playing games, especially MMO's, is to meet new friends and have fun. So have fun. Don't start treating it like a first or second job to get the best gear, to get those dailies in on all your toons or to run the same thing, day after day, week after week. Play how you want to. If you truly want to optimize your game so you can be the best you possibly can, if you really want to work together with others to down the newest and baddest bosses when they come out, or if you want to work your way up the PvP ladder to be one of the best, let that come as naturally as you can. It takes time, simple as that. No matter what you wanna do, it's gonna take time to get there. Enjoy the ride, because some of the greatest (and worst) moments you'll have will be with other people, friends and total strangers alike.
  22. 7/10 It's one of those well known songs, and I enjoy it, but it's definitely something I wouldn't play keep in my playlist. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PvN7ujfj2w
  23. Just tried it out, and it went through perfectly. Only $1 for a custom mouse-pad? Yeah that's way too good to pass up. Thank you very much for this code! Hopefully when it gets here, everything will be fine. Pic below is the image I tried out, which hopefully will look nice as a mouse pad.
  24. The only thing, the ONLY thing I don't like about Christmas is having to listen to Christmas music every single day from November until who knows when. There's only so many times you can listen to that stuff before you go insane. Those in retail, I can only hope you survive it all.
