    Not to call either of you liars, but has there been any confirmed word one way or another from an official source(Hub, Hasbro, or DHX) on the subject?

    It isn't just them, all of the major media companies do the same thing over various issues. They will all play up whichever side supports them and overreact to anything that anyone opposing them supports or does. It's why I limit my news to the weather channel.

    Truth be told, I think this is the third thread on this site for just this one clip. I myself first saw it about a year ago and we(the fandom) all raged over it back then. At this point let's let by-gones be by-gones. The whole fandom already knows that Fox News and even some of it's various local affiliates(like in the above clip) don't like bronies all that much. That aside they have had a part to play in aiding our fandom as clips like the one above helped to motivate John De Lancie into making the Bronycon documentary. Love and tolerance my friends.

    Oh I was never saying that they made it out of animal hide, simply that they did in fact call it parchment in the series. As it was established above in other posts that there are type of parchment that can be made out of plant-based materials.

    Someone actually came up with some real world names for humanized versions of the pony. https://mangaka-girl...llery/#/d4txmj5 In it Pinkie is named Diane and Twilight is Estelle(though you have to look at the description to find that out) Thought I might try and assert these notions. Granny Smith: Sarah Smithson Annie Smith(common fan-name for the young Granny Smith) Shining Armor: (Captain) Marcus George Reading William Marcus Reading(seeing that his uniform was based off of Prince William's uniform) Mr. Cake: Franklin Baker Andrew "Andy Baker Mrs. Cake: Martha Baker Ann Baker And no I'm not just sticking with "An-" based names arbitrarily. See? Oh yes, and... HUB: HUB HUB

    It would interesting to see if/how they would denote that in the show. My idea is that it is measured in terms defined by Star Swirl the Bearded. It could be starswirls( ss ), swirls( sw ), beards( b )...who knows it might even be "Da Magicks". *EDIT* What if they are measured by "friendship levels"? After all the essence of friendship is an actual magical power source in their world.

    A brilliant idea hit me! What if the Cutie Mark Crusaders, having long since gotten their cutie marks and grown up, become the Mane characters along with some of their friends like Pipsqueak, Featherweight, and one other as they wander Equestria and the surrounding lands and...well...stuff... You know I had some grand idea of where I wanted to go with this, but it quickly died. Either way that's what I would like to see for G4.5/G5.

    To this end there is more magic out there SIMILAR in effect to the Elements of Harmony. Just take a look at "Hearth's Warming Eve" http://pwny.at/fI And, "A Caterlot Wedding" http://pwny.at/fJ These two "spells" MIGHT be examples of what combining various groupings of the elements together look like. The one big thing I have noticed about powerful spells in this universe seem to be empowered by the interpersonal bonds between the ponies involved.

    I for one would like to see more of him, he reminds me very much of the traditional Texan man. Quiet, stoic, only says what needs to be said when it needs to be said and that includes when he needs to raise his voice. In other words, a gentlemanly fellow of few words. Along with Cheerilee added note: Fluttershy is considered to be an "honorary Japanese" character. I second this!

    I personally would like to see subtle changes and to have them working towards being more mature. An immediate jump in season 3? perhaps not so much as having new appearances...is a bit iffy.
