I actually watched MLP on TV again, woot That was a pretty good episode actually, more sweet than entertaining. Not that that's a bad thing of course. Didn't expect a song here, but it worked well enough. Some moments I loved though, like Spike with that Rarity plush and seeing Bulk Biceps... which had little to do with the core of the episode, but we all notice and obsess over little things like those in this fandom huh? Also at least the other mane 5 realized their mistakes in decorating Twi's castle right away, was kinda silly if them to make it that way in the first place though. The conclusion of the episode was the sweetest though, oh my gosh, even my cold-ish heart warmed. Dem memories, dose roots in the ceiling, dat hug. Anyway, overall a very nice episode. Not particularly great I would say, but a nice chapter in the lives if our favorite group of pony friends for sure. 8.5/10

Tirek somehow convinces Discord that friendship is 'a new form of imprisonment', so he turns back evil then. Clearly Celestia counted on it to happen... otherwise, Twilight would not have been able to get the final harmony key from forgiving him to defeat Tirek with #superfriendshipmagic, thus earning her the Princess of Friendship title. Eeyup.

The Google Play versions are pretty good, much crisper on a phone than something like YouTube anyway, easy to buy too.

Considering that the 100th episode will have a focus on bg characters, and how the premiere went, I'm thinking this season will have some focus on the friendships of other ponies besides the mane 6? I'm hoping for the finale to, like, have some villain so powerful that the friendships between ponies all around Equestria(and beyond?) will be needed somehow, for some super friendship magic or something.

Battle is AMAZING... well, the movie is called Rainbow Rocks, and I like songs that rock more than anything, and that song just rocks. The opening theme isn't that bad either, though the original EG's was much better imo As for the rest of the songs... the Dazzling's stuff, I like most. The mane 6's/the rest of the songs... I dunno, not quite as into it here.
