      @Halfblood - I lived in Beaverdam, in Northwest Hanover county near the border to Louisa county. A friend of mine does a bit of everything. Power washing, plumbing, car repairs, whatever. He was once working on a septic tank for a family the same day they had a large family get-together/barbeque. He asked if they should reschedule but they didn't want to. They ignored the noise and smell the whole time. Didn't bother them at all.

      I had a feeling you were more inland. I lived in Norfolk for most of my high school years, and it was basically the same on the coast. People I guess find civil maintenance a bit like recreation than a slight nuisance. I live in Connecticut now, and New Englanders find any bit of construction infuriating, lol.
