When I worked in a telecom company's call center I drank somewhere around two pots a shift, sometimes a bit more. I eventually started getting heart palpitations but that was probably a combination of the caffeine, stress, and anger. Once that started happening I decided I should abstain for a while. I went six months without coffee, watched my intake for a while after that, and now I'm once again drinking it like water.

But I'm no longer working at that place and haven't had any trouble since.

I would only drink a few cups a day, but I was losing weight and it was screwing up my insides bad...

So it was either quit, or die.
