      The Animated Series was what made the Batman shows special. The characters, art style, and the writers put all of their effort into the show.

      I would say so. It was definitely among my favorites from the early 90s, and would easily make a top 3 list. Liked it far more than any of the more recent attempts at an animated Batman series. Mark Hamill was a phenomenal Joker. Never would have known that was him or thought it possible had I not looked it up.
