      The impending flame war in your thread, the beginnings of which had already been cleaned up by another moderator, didn't help matters either. Is there any reason you couldn't just transfer it over to your blog with the rest of your entries on this?

      I understand. Well I already transferred my original post onto my most recent blog, so I'm longer that worried about you keeping it locked. But please, can you not delete everything on that locked thread? Keeping it locked and frozen in time is much better than having to delete the memories that the thread despite being misplaced, has entailed.

      Looking back, I see how my intention could have been misconstrued. The reason for the removal of your thread was because it's standard practice to remove locked threads after they've aged a bit and fallen back a few pages, to tidy the place up and make search results more relevant. That's all. But making an exception in the case of something like this wouldn't be a problem. I'll leave it behind.
