    Despite several critical things at work breaking and giving me lots to do, everyone was really nice about it, patient, and I had some pleasant conversations. Can't adequately express how much I appreciate simple courtesy and sensibility like that.

    So I have two options here: live in a run-down, semi-ghetto neighborhood with sensible rent, or pay obscenely high rent to live at a much smaller place just for a fair chance of not getting robbed.
