I am off for Christmas Eve for the first time in 6 years, but the bad news is I am because of a work related knee injury. I am over the worst of it, but a 4th one makes me feel like I live in Looney Toons Cartoon. Should I start looking out for falling anvils and stray sticks of dynamite?

Muppets Christmas Carol is required viewing in my house.

All we watched was A Christmas Carol tonight, the George Scott version. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is a must for us, as is A Christmas Story, but those will probably wait for Christmas Eve or Day. We'll see everything else between now and then, I'm sure. XD

Watching movies with family is always cool!

It's the same for me. I guess I'm just getting older; It's simply not the same for me anymore as it was for me when I was a child.

I never cared much for Christmas as a kid. As an adult, I've enjoyed it more. Still not exactly something I look forward to.

Some people are ridiculous when it comes to bringing stuff into theaters. There's a rule against not having outside food and drinks but they won't often do anything about it.

I remember one guy stashing a 2 liter in his jacket and having a giant straw going from the bottle to his mouth. Yeah, no way they'll notice that.

Surprising to hear that. The mall here is dead most of the time, even around holidays. Malls don't draw the crowds they used to and this one doesn't have much left in it.

I'm especially thinking of the moment when Rainbow Dash swoops down and grabs Scootaloo, and they fly past the disco ball. That was the most intense part but even that wasn't so bad. I wonder if even a single person had a seizure or something.
