  1. I'd slap you around a bit with a large trout.
  2. Right now at work we're talking about how one of my coworkers might burn his house down for the insurance money and make it look like an accident.

Nope. Because it would be under the name Frederick Newton. And he would use cash, not card.

Friends of mine have had a lot of problems with Kias, so I'd have to say Mazda.

  5. I think my typical spiel on the earning and giving of respect applies here too: Besides the obvious stalemate arising from two parties each waiting for the other to make the first move to somehow earn the other's respect, one is typically making two assumptions regarding their respect that they have no right to make. The first being that yours is something worth earning. The second being that anyone would or should even care to earn it from you. That's up to the discretion of each person you meet. It's not your call. For those wondering how the "love and tolerate" saying came to be in this fandom, to the best of my knowledge it originated on (yes, yes, I know) 4chan. The result of a bunch of flaming and the need for a smartass comeback. Eventually it spread throughout our ranks as well because it truly does fit the premise of this show, which is many bronies' reason for loving it and banding together. Has the fandom really practiced it? In my experiences... mostly. I know we have some rather horrible people among us, on this forum and abroad, but the majority of my experiences have been positive. Much better than any other fandom I've rolled with. This goes for online and real world interactions. And you know, it doesn't take that much effort to love and tolerate most people, in my opinion. I do it all the time, it feels good, and I generally get shown the same consideration in return. It's gotta start somewhere so it might as well be me, I figure.

See? Case and point, I don't know what you are talking about xD.

  6. Right on! Seeing as I'm a terrible singer and have no measure expertise on this sort of thing in any way, I have no advice I can offer. All I can say is that in my unprofessional opinion, you sound like you have a lot of potential there that your can bring out with enough practice. Keep at it! I enjoyed listening, and thanks for putting this together for us! ^^
  7. Seeing as I got into the show after the first season ended, my entry points were much more limited than one would have now. Nobody told me back then not to start with the first episode, like so many do these days. I'm glad they didn't though, because I loved the pilot. Started with episode 1 and I went straight ahead from there.
  8. Chaotic Discord picked this game up at BronyCon and I played it with him and nlaq one evening in his hotel room. It was hilarious. Didn't get to finish the game though because I was passing out at 5:10 in the morning. Hopefully I get to play it again sometime with some folks before next BronyCon.
  9. My first pony dream involved me doing something I can't quite remember that eventually led me to Twilight's place. In typical dreamlike fashion, I was minding my own business somewhere, and then suddenly I was somewhere completely different. Twilight was there, as was Rainbow Dash and Spike. Eventually Twilight said something like "aren't you supposed to be somewhere now?" Panicking over I knew not what, I quickly climbed out of the nearest window to go on my way. And then I was somewhere completely different, doing some random thing. Not a very exciting dream, but it was nicer for having ponies in it.
  10. RIGHTEOUS! MGS 5 was going to be a console seller for me, but now it looks like I don't have to worry about it. Thanks, Kojima! Seriously though, look how gorgeous that is. O_O
  11. Man, you sound so much like myself. My induction into this fandom was on May 20th of 2011, after powering through the first and only season in one night. Exposure to the fandom was pretty small for me until I joined this forum, which happened one week after I attended BronyCon in 2012. That convention really changed my life. Made me feel better about myself as a person, taught me how to open up and be a more sociable person, and now I have to go every year. My whole year revolves around it. Thank you, because you sound like a wonderful person, the type that drew me into this to begin with. To be honest, I've been fighting an ever-increasing feeling that I no longer have a place among them. I'm going to give things another shot to see if things can turn around.

@Tea - That's what's known as a K-Cup, made for Keurig coffee machines. You just put the cup in, it punctures the lid and the bottom, and the coffee is brewed in the cup and drains into your mug.
