  1. Not so much the place that was awkward as it was the way in which I fell asleep. I've fallen asleep in public several times... standing up. Yeah, I'll get my balance just right and manage to fall asleep without tipping over. This has happened at fast food places, at the hospital, in Walmart, and a number of other places. I have never known anyone else to do this. Oh, and when I was with @~Chaotic Discord~ in his hotel room at BronyCon last year, I was falling asleep as I was talking to him, a friend of his, and his mom. We were conversing, and I could feel my eyes closing and my head drooping. Even as I sat on the floor sorting out some MLP cards I had bought I started falling asleep. I felt kind of embarrassed at the time, but they were cool about it.
  2. Tough question. Happens to me quite often at work. Probably this morning when I walked over to my Keurig machine and started mashing the button to start it brewing without inserting a K-cup first. Took me way too long to figure out why nothing was happening. How do I coffee?
  3. Honestly, I'm not much of a shipper. Only two really do anything for me - TwiJack and TwiDash. The Twilight component to these stems from her being my favorite pony. Sorry, can't tell you why those two are tied for me and why I'm not into the more common (and maybe obvious) ones like AppleDash and FlutterDash. IT'S JUST A FEELING, ALRIGHT?
  4. Don't see much of you these days. Happy birthday, and I hope things have been going well for you. ^_^

Twily doesn't look into it-I think the roofies kicked in for Trixie tho.

  5. The unstoppable force meets the immovable object, as they say. Interesting matchup. Discord is omnipotent from what we've seen, but Shizuo has shown himself to be damn near indestructible. Discord could crush Shizuo with a meteor and he'd just pick it up and throw it back. One might argue that Shizuo could be considered a victor since he'd enjoy the fight the most; that's all I can say with much certainty. I'm calling a stalemate on this one.
  6. Really? I see males ship all the time. Males here, male fic writers, male artists, etc. I'm not much of a shipper myself, but it's not uncommon.
  7. Recent topic discussions and even a tournament held here have indicated a significant increase in Applejack appreciation. As for myself, she's always been second-best pony, but only by a tiny margin. Hasbro/DHX/whoever people currently want to blame for any perceived mistreatment or disregard for Applejack have been very good to her this season and even last season. I'll take quality over quantity any day, though I'd say we've been given a fair bit of both.

  12. Eh? You talkin' to me? I said, you talkin' to me?! Oh, and 13.
  13. Nothing funny happened today, but yesterday I called a doctor and heard "Conjunction Junction" as the hold music. xD
  14. It only says 100. It's still 20 though. After the minimum was reduced, it continued to say 100 almost everywhere. Even on the desktop version it'll tell you there's a minimum of 20 in Cloudsdale, when there actually is no minimum. Just another one of those irritating things about IPB that we have to put up with.
  15. You should have been here when the character minimum was 100 in most places. A character minimum was implemented as a spam deterrent in the forums' younger days to prevent one-word and no-word (such as pictures only) replies that contributed nothing to the threads in which they were posted. This worked quite well, and I'm glad that we've retained a reduced character minimum rather than eliminating it altogether. With the new minimum being 20 characters in most places, it still prevents people from doing that while allowing people more freedom to relax, without feeling like their every reply needs to be overly complicated. I've seen people struggle to reach 20 characters in a few places, but every time I've seen that so far it's been due to laziness. Saying more than "hi" in the Welcoming Plaza was more effort than they were willing to expend, or not bothering to elaborate on their reasons for disagreeing with somebody in a thread and instead just dropping a "nope (fillerfillerfillerfiller)." I'm glad to say that instances of this have dropped substantially since the character minimum was lowered from 100. It's obviously helping out a lot of people without causing much in the way of collateral damage. What we have now really isn't hard and isn't getting in anybody's way. This is also a forum. Forums are meant for protracted, thoughtful discussion, not instantaneous chat that flows like a face-to-face conversation. We do have areas made for that so people have a place to unwind. However, making the entire forum conducive to it would be counterproductive and annoying.
  16. Ten? Wow... I can post in this thread now without derailing it. xD
