  5. Should America run on Dunkin'? Probably not, but I'm glad for it this morning.

  6. One thing I don't enjoy about living in a condo is not being able to chill on the patio without neighbors constantly pestering me. It's almost 3:15 in the morning and I'm just getting to bed :lostit:

I bet they're out watering their plants at 3 AM, wondering why you aren't doing the same.

Two of them are full of energy because they've been snorting coke all evening. Normally I enjoy some chit chat, but damn, they just don't run out of steam.

@Artemis It was too adorable not to use. I just had too. :darling:

  10. Every morning I wake up at 6:30 or 7, depending on when the dog needs to pee and decides to wake me. After that I make my first failed attempt to wake up my girlfriend. Then I get a shower and put on a shirt, followed by my second failed attempt to wake her up, and then I fix my hair and finish getting dressed. Now I make my third failed attempt to wake her. The doggo gets breakfast and I make coffee to take with me to work. I finally succeed in waking my girlfriend, and she typically panics when she notices the time and asks me if I tried waking her up earlier. We say our farewells and I hit the road.
  11. "Don't live like me."

    - John McGuirk

  12. Pictures, videos, and stories from a mutual acquaintance can often give us a good understanding of a person we've never met. Their personality, convictions, mannerisms, habits, likes/dislikes, aspirations, etc. Over time it's possible to miss that person's company despite never meeting them. I've been thinking about this a lot recently but it's something that's come and gone over the years. My girlfriend's mother died several years before we got together so obviously we never met or spoke to each other, but the stories I've heard and the pictures I've seen make me feel like I do know her and wish we could hang out again. From what I've been told, I can see a lot of this woman in her daughter, yet I feel like there's a part of her daughter that I'll never get to meet either. Can anybody else relate? Does anybody know a word for this feeling?
  13. Huehuehuehue Kirkland, the Costco brand. It's effective and comparatively cheap. I can buy enough to last 6-7 months for the cost of a month's supply of a regular name brand anywhere else. Toilet paper and paper towels are all I typically buy from Costco.
  14. The usual shit. Monday-Friday I'm at work for most of the day. I rarely use my computer after work. Most of the evening is spent lounging about, cleaning, or loving on my doggo. On the weekends, more of the same except not going to work. Occasionally I'll get together with some friends for brunch or dinner, or my girlfriend and me go kayaking.

  15. A group of friends goes bowling the first Tuesday of every month and I typically join them. Still have a lot of work to do on my form, but I've learned a few things! So, I'm left handed and I'm left eye dominant. However, it only feels natural rolling and throwing things with my right hand, so I have to bowl with my right hand. I had a hard time not putting too much of a left spin on the ball and sending it straight for the gutter. Finally got that under control and learned that I can only manage the spin on a ball that's 14 pounds or heavier. Less than that and there's nothing I can do.
  16. As of April I started driving a 2013 Fiat 500 Turbo. Tiny car without much headroom and the back seats are more ornamental than functional. Only wee kids could fit in the back comfortably. Despite its size, it's fun to drive and has a decent amount of power under the hood.

@Artemis It then seems pretty fitting that @Jeric added that Robbie Rotten reaction.

  18. Same as I'm doing now. Wasting time at work. That or kayaking.
  19. Hell no. I'm a different person now and I'm sure most of them are too, but I hated my time there and there aren't any old friendships to be rekindled.
  20. This was from a few months ago. Playing some Doom I think, early in the morning.
  21. Lunch was good and I'm a little bit drunk. Guess it's time to head back to work.

@PathfinderCS bummer, man. Get something! A full stomach would make you more productive anyway!
