  1. @@Khajiit, ...it's spelled Aela isn't it. Curses, I can never spell her name correctly. But on the bright side I did remember her, so that counts.
  2. I prefer Skyrim. Skyrim has hours upon hours of sidequests, badass battles, great NPC's, amazing chracter customization and roleplay opportunities, some of the best DLC that's out there (Arguably the best, trust me the money for the Dragonborn and Dawnguard DLC is well worth it), more mods, and it always feels fresh. Dark Souls is a great game, but I just tend to enjoy Skyrim better for the hours of gameplay. Dark Souls is more of a difficulty game as others have said; Skyrim is more of an exploration game that immerses you into the story with better and more three-dimensional and memorable characters. For example, Astrid is one of my favorite Skyrim characters for her impact on the Dark Brotherhood arc and I just think she's awesome. Seriously, I can barely name any memorable Dark Souls NPCs, but for Skyrim I can name quite a lot off the top of my head that stuck with me. (Ulfric Stormcloak, Astrid, Cicero, Lydia, General Tullius, Miraak, Aelea...) OP, to be honest, from your comments I believe that you truly only dislike Skyrim from the fact that it's 'mainstream' and 'popular', and how you believe that most people prefer Skyrim over Dark Souls. I'm assuming that you like Dark Souls over Skyrim purely because it's the less mainstream option.
  3. If you like getting your view of magical girls get torn down, watch Madoka Magica. Attack on Titan is basically mandatory. If you don't mind fanservice, watch Kill la Kill. Neon Genesis Evangelion is an amazing psychological thriller... like Madoka Magica.
  4. I have never seen such detailed, drawn out Twilicorn hatemail before. I applaud you for writing a 7,992 word essay about cartoon ponies, when you could've been doing something else that's more productive and healthy, such as improving your abilities with your Smash main or grinding on Final Fantasy. I'd say more, but like someone said, i'd get a warning.
  5. Anna from all of the Fire Emblems, no, I don't care we're both girls. Oh yeah, and if we're allowed to have two waifus, Kyoko Sakura from Madoka Magica. I think I have a thing for redheads in ponytails.
  6. Strengths: Well, apparently i'm really creative and I can come up with pretty good strategies/plans on the fly. I'm a decent leader and motivator. I'm pretty intelligent (I hope?) so I know tons of useless knowledge, like algebra. One or two people claim i'm a good writer, so make of that what you will. I'm pretty stubborn and definitely not a pushover. I generally get along with people unless I accidentally insult them. I also tend to enjoy change, unless a change sucks. I also have a great taste in music (In my opinion). I can also draw fairly well. Mentally, I think i'm fairly mature for my age. Flaws: I procrastinate so much. I also apparently have self esteem and confidence issues. Trust me, the two of those flaws together are a terrible combination. I apparently have trouble working in certain groups and going along with other people's ideas. I also tend to get distracted easily and apparently I sometimes insult people without knowing. I'm also pretty unreliable when it comes to deadlines. Oh yeah, I have a habit of setting unreasonably high expectations for myself and beat myself up for mistakes that I made years ago. I also compare myself to lots of people I look up to. And that's not counting how forgettable and unorganized I am.
  7. I'm currently single and i'm fine with that. If i must get a date, i'll only go out with someone college years and later, and they must be really amazing. I suppose i'm picky.
  8. Snakes are cool. I've always thought that they are awesome because i'm a Slytherin and that dragons are basically a mix of snakes, lizards and something else. Bats are also cool, but i'm not a huge fan. I dunno why, I'm just not a bat person. Foxes are really cool! I love how fluffy and cute they look but behind that they're fearsome predators. I'd love to actually pet one. Crocodiles are nice, but I like alligators, snakes and lizards better. Alligators are totally different from crocodiles by the way. Hyeneas are actually one of my favorite animals, I loved them in the Lion King and in real life they're super adorable and I'd love to have/pet one.
  9. I don't usually get banned, except on one or two minecraft servers. But that's because I pissed off the admins. Otherwise, i'm a goody-two-shoes, except once or twice when I get a little too cruel/know-it-all/sarcastic and get a few warning points or something.
  10. How did the hipster burn his tongue? He drank his coffee before it was cool.
  11. @, If we're talking about the steam machine; it's gonna fail. The people that want the steam machine already have steam, so why are they going to build a new console?
  12. @, I didn't mean overall, I meant in the past year / this year or so, I believe. Sorry for the confusion.
  13. @, The Wii U is actually selling better than the Xbox One and PS4. I recently got one myself and it's the best console I've ever had. On another note, this console does look cool but it'll take like 5 years to come out, so we must wait til' then.
  14. Lucina, Robin and Custom Palutena for me. Robin is insanely unique and her magic-based specials are all very useful and interesting to utilize in battle. Arcfire and Elwind in particular are great to keep your enemies far away and get some good damage in. Did I mention that when you land a successful Thoron kill you feel like a complete badass? That's not to mention that, like in the game, her magic allows for some pretty cool strategies and some pretty hilarious kills. Lucina is... really adorable and she's also a ton of fun to play as. She just feels so serene and graceful whenever I play as her. When you land that perfect, flawless, beautiful aerial combo... wooaah. Her speed, grab range, very strong air game and reasonable power makes her a blast to play as. Palutena as a default character is pretty iffy, but boy, her customs are a force to be reckoned with. Celestial Firework is great for enemies that like to get up close and personal and can kill at about 100%-ish, making it a good spam move. Warp is an even better spam move, as you're basically everywhere on the stage at once and can counterattack enemies very easily. Explosive Flame is a good bomb move. That's it. Oh yeah, superspeed is a super sanic move that can set up a ridiculous amount of kills in a second or so. And she has the best taunt in the game (pole dancing) - well, second best. Shulk's feel taunt is champion. ...and those are my favorite smash characters. Boy did I write a lot.
  15. Haven't actually played Vegas but it looks a lot better. Traits, more perks, better characters, a deeper story that's more customizable, and a general happier atmosphere all are reasons for be to believe that Vegas > 3.
  16. Even though I liked geology better, astronomy is incredibly interesting and I've always enjoyed learning about it in my science classes that have delved into the subject. However, I wouldn't consider it for a career or anything.
  17. You can become an animator, graphic artist, etc. There's a lot of money in that.
  18. If you want my honest opinion, I think words speak l-
  19. Super Smash Bros, i'm pretty good with Robin (chargin up dat thorin), Customized Palutena (Superspeed + celestial firework kill incoming) and Lucario (60%+ = death).
  20. Ooh, lemme think about Equinox, then. Well, first off, when I decided I wanted a 'main OC', I needed to pick the species / gender / blah. I went with a female since I usually am better at writing girls then guys because i'm a girl myself. As for species, I really wasn't sure for a while. Changelings are completely awesome but so are pegasi and unicorns. I eventually settled on an earth pony due to being the lesser used race and I wanted to be less mainstream. The special talent/cutie mark took a while. I knew I wanted a thiefy-assassiny type of character, since those are awesome and I think a badass thief would fit right at home in Equestria. I couldn't really think of anything that had to do specifically with thievery that wasn't cliche for a while, so then I began to brainstorm a bit about things that didn't directly relate to sneaking around but still had something to do with it. I came up with a yin-yang sort of idea, which I liked but I wasn't sure how to incorporate it. Then I figured out that if you meshed a sun and a moon together the result was a yin-yang sun-moon thing. I decided to make it represent survival, which still involves thievery but not directly. As for the design I just kinda screwed around with colors until I found something I liked. That's how I usually design anyway. Personality-wise, I decided to cherry-pick my personal favorite personality features and quirks with a few flaws thrown in because if I want a good OC I want it to be an OC with a personality I like. I eventually got a sassy, snarky outlaw who is obsessed with money, is antisocial but is good when forced to be social, has a ton of quirks, and has trouble trusting people and usually takes advantage of them. If we're onto backstory, I'm still working on it, but i'm thinking about having Equinox grow up in a normal environment with parents that didn't have a lot of money, and Equinox (in order to make their lives better) shoplifted and pickpocketed so her parents could afford more extravagant things, but eventually got caught in the summer before she was off to college and became a criminal. Maybe she still sends money to her parents and hangs out with them? I honestly don't know. Backstories are tough. This is generally the process I use for most of my OC's, with perhaps only a few things differing.
  21. We're really tiny so the odds of us bumping into life are really small, but life is out there somewhere.
  22. Yes, probably including me. But don't act like children weren't spoiled back then either, it's just that the internet is letting people broadcast their stupidity/spoildness all over.
  23. Sloth and Gluttony. I have trouble not eating things and i'm super lazy. Envy also kinda fits I guess.
  24. No olive choice? YOU HAVE ANGERED ME.
  25. Fire Emblem Awakening, it's an amazing strategy RPG that really makes you think.
