      Basically the game is set up to respond to words like "left" "right" "start" "a" and so forth, each meaning a different button on the game boy.

      Well it did (and does again) take commands from 20 seconds ago. To make it easier, they set it up on a vote type thing where the command entered most in 10 seconds would be what the game did. That didn't work so they went down to 5 seconds. Then 1 second. Then this shit happened xD
