Yeah, my grandfather was on his death bed on Christmas 2012 and died on the 30th, so I'm no fan of that time of year for the same reason. It was the first meaningful death in the family for me so I basically stopped functioning and had to take a semester off from school. We knew he was living on borrowed time for years because of the disease he had, but it still hits hard.

Isn't it strange how one thing can ruin an otherwise happy time? I guess it doesn't help that I've been super moody lately.
