Her mane was pulled into a large braid that draped itself over the right side oh her neck and shoulder. She was wearing her mask and a matching purple dress with golden trimming. Unlike the latest in fashion, Mirror was wearing full sleeves that covered the full length of her legs and then some. The sleeves flared out at the end and trailed on the ground. In response to Cherry's question, Mirror nodded. IT had been a stressful fifteen minutes, but they were finally ready. Hopefully, Mr. Cask would be forgiving of their tardiness. 2. The only good that had come out of Cherry's panic attack was that she had prevented Mirror from panicking. Mirror hadn't been expecting a towel to be thrown at her, much less hit her in the face. The initial shock wore off very quickly after that. Instead of panicking Mirror just pushed the towel off and onto the floor. They still needed to clean themselves up. Their few encounters with Mr. Cask and his mistresses led her to believe that showing up late would be bad, but showing up late and unprepared for the dinner would be worse. Mirror searched the bottom of the tub for the plug with her forehooves. She eventually found it and began draining the bath water. While Cherry may have shaken herself freed from most of the water and the soap, what remained would only make her coat and mane sticky and unmanageable. The mare pulled the lever to turn on the shower and carefully crawled out of the tub to go get Cherry. It was slow going, since the wooden floors were slick with soap and water but she soon made it to do the door. Mirror approached her panicking friend, she could only think of a couple ways to end Cherry's panic attack, though only one had a chance of more immediately calming her down. The mare walked up to her panic stricken friend and tenderly wrapped her forehooves around the mares neck to embrace her. Mirror squeezed her tight before whispering into her ear, "I know we're late but we can't panic right now, If we're late and not ready they won't be very happy....they might even fire us." Mirror moved her head back so that she could look into Cherry's eyes, "First, we need to rinse off and get dressed and ready. If we hurry, we should be fine. Please, I can't do this without you right now...." The last sentence came out sounding bitter. It was directed more at herself than Cherry.....

  6. Silver Heart @@Golbez, @@Scribblegroove, @@Evilshy, Silver, satisfied that Cherry would try not to breathe any of the drug in, fed more power into the flame under the bowl. As the flame grew stronger the small cube began to sweat and bubble forming a pool of reddish-brown liquid in the bowl. Cherry Bomb is an...interesting name, she had never met a pony that had been named after an explosive before. Apparently, Pegasi really did go for more military-minded names. Well some Unicorns do the same thing, so it really wasn't that off-putting. "Ch-Cherry Bomb huh? That's a pretty name...." Silver Heart replied while remaining as motionless as she could. For the current state she was in, she was doing a pretty good job too. There was only an occasional wobble or twitch. The medic nodded lightly in response, just so Cherry knew she had heard her. Silver clenched her eyes shut and readied herself for whatever Cherry was about to do. It hurt, it hurt a lot. When Cherry pulled the bandage tight, something bad happened. The flame beneath the bowl flickered and vanished. To keep from yelling out, Silver clenched her teeth. The bandage felt sticky and wet. It felt like her eye had burst. Even with the anesthesia she would have blacked out if that happened. It just hurt like Tartarus. Several moments went by before Silver realized that Cherry was even apologizing. "It's okay...just let me rest for a few minutes." Silver laid down in front of the bowl and conjured another flame beneath it. The flame was weaker than before but was still strong enough to do its job. The small brick had fully melted and all that was left was a dark and murky liquid. 8. Mirror watched as Cherry energetically submerged herself under the soapy water. When she didn't immediately resurface the magician began to wonder if Cherry was going to play a joke by popping up when she least expected it. That thought didn't last long as Cherry breached the layer of bubbles and smiled at the unicorn. Since Cherry had already washed her mane it was her own turn now. Mirror mimicked Cherry and placed a hood over her muzzle and slowly lowered herself under the water. The faint tingling sensation of the mint was now tickling her face.... well the half she could feel at least. After waiting a little longer than Cherry did, Mirror raised her head above the water just in time for some water to be flicked into her face. She opened her eyes, it seemed like more of an accident Han any attempt at playing around. Cherry was a little closer now and her back was facing Mirror. "Oh..." Mirror's ears folded back against her head. It was a good thing Cherry wasn't looking at her. "I...just spent the time practicing....it's part of the contract I signed. Nothing too eventful until you came." Mirror bit her lower lip, it would be better to change the topic. "Um...how was the carriage ride?" She asked as she scooched close enough to Cherry to touch her. She stopped just a little short and leaned her head against the side of the tub.
  9. Silver Heart @@Golbez, "Thanks...." Silver replied while she waited patiently for the mare to finish wrapping the bandages around her head. "Make it as tight as you can, the tighter the better." It was kind of irritating that there wasn't anything for her to lean against. but laying down would only make this process take longer, assuming the mare even knew how to properly bandage the head. Most ponies didn't. Still, she was the only one besides the Unicorn stallion that stayed behind, which was kind. "It's okay....there really isn't anything dangerous left above us....You can take your time." Silver Heart winced at Cherry's movements. The pain was definitely coming back now. "H-hold on, just a moment please..." Silver said as she very lightly held up a hoof to hold Cherry back. The injured mare pulled a small iron bowl out of her saddlebags which was followed by a little black brick. She placed the brick into the bowl and conjured a small magical flame beneath it.
