  1. [THIS SPACE FOR RENT]

  2. Well, going with the list early in the topic; 30 year old - Nope, I'm 23 fat - Perhaps a little overweight. Not so far as to say fat though. virgin - Nope with no social life - I have a very good social life thanks. I have a good group of friends, I go out socially at least a couple of times a week, and I'm usually chatting to one friend or another in some way. who lives with their parents - Nope, I'm living on my own, and entirely self sufficient who will never have a girlfriend - Don't have one now, but I have had, and I'm sure I will again. Besides, girls dig the ponies! are hyper obsessed - I can obsess over my hobbies sometimes, but then most people do. Whether its football, soap operas, fifty shades of grey or something else, everyone has their obsessions. creepy - Sometimes, but only for ironic or humorous effect. clop to the ponies - No, not that it's anyone's business but mine. Anyone who gets annoyed at cloppers needs to grow up anyway. They're not hurting anybody. So I'm not really conforming to the stereotypes, huh?
  3. Kanto: Squirtle Johto: Cyndaquil Hoenn: Mudkip Sinnoh: Chimchar and because weegeez is a bad influence Unova: Snivy
  4. How would I react? I have no idea. None at all. I suspect I'd spend my time trying to calm down/comfort people though. If I'd been in the second tower hit. Well, after the first was hit, I'd be out of there, and trying to see if there was anything that could be done to help get people out. I hate to not be doing anything in these situations. In regards to making jokes about tragedies. It's some people's coping mechanism, and I appreciate and respect that. But you have to have tact in where and how you do it.
  5. I could write such a huge list here. I won't, I'll just write a few. Must restrain myself... Shawshank Redemption, Pulp fiction, Watership Down, Back to the Future, Indiana Jones (the first three), Star Wars (the first three), Scott Pilgrim, Singin' in the Rain, My Fair Lady, Dr Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, Hot Fuzz, Airplane!, Groundhog Day, Ghostbusters, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Bigger than intended, but smaller than it could be ^^;
  6. Assuming in this situation I'm still human, otherwise not much problem: Hey [person who entered the room] magical intelligent ponies have come to earth. I figure this is either a weird dream, or the start of a hopefully peaceful coexistence with another intelligent race. Either way, I'm getting in on the ground floor here. She tastes like skittles!
  7. The moon at night. The smell of rain. The time between waking up and having to get out of bed. The feeling you get when you're one of the only people in the room to get an obscure joke or reference. When you trust everything to luck, and it works out. The sound of dice being rolled.
  8. Just tell them? I mean, it's a show you watch, what's the big deal? In what way might you tell someone you watch CSI? Or How I Met Your Mother? Tell them that way. I told two people I know just today. Nobody cared, one of them actually knew who Rainbow Dash was, which was cool. The only reason not everybody I know is aware I'm a brony is because it doesn't necessarily come up in conversation. It's a little weird to just blurt it out for no reason. So yeah, I fall firmly on the side that it's really a non-issue. Of course, other people may be in different situations, so that may not apply. But if the people you know are generally open minded or tolerant, they won't care.
  9. Have a minor freak out. Head to Ponyville, and talk to Twilight. She'd be able to contact Celestia, hopefully we could figure out what was going on. Then plan my moves from there. I'd not be adverse to staying, but I'd at least like to be able to get some sort of contact with the real world, so as to explain to my friends and family what's happened. Honestly, that's what I'd do whether I was human or pony.
  10. If I was still human? Well, I'd be weirded out by the fact a supposedly fictional character just kissed me. There would be all sorts of questions. If I was a pony? I'd probably return it, and see where things go from there.
  11. Be a pony in Equestria? Yeah, I'd be on it like a car bonnet. It's an idyllic life, very little conflict, no poverty so far as I can tell. Incredible natural beauty. None of the grinding day by day erosion of any sense of self, any spark of happiness, any sense of wonder that we all too often find in the real world. So yeah, sign me up.
  12. When my younger brother was 2, he was diagnosed with cancer, thankfully, after a year or so of hospitalisation, he pulled through. There were a lot of sad moments while he was in there, up to being told he was going to die. Not might die, was going to. That he survived was nothing short of astronomical odds. But the saddest thing I saw didn't involve him. Technically, I suppose I didn't see it either. It was just the sound from another room, when this couple, who's son had the same type of cancer as my brother, and was only 3 years old, their son died. I've never, ever, heard anything like the wail of pure grief I heard his mother make. It was the most anguished, sorrowful sound I've ever heard. Ten years later, and I can still hear it if I think about it. Also, this is a super depressing topic huh? <__<;
  13. Oh my, that was very well done. I definitely laughed aloud a few times. Which is rare for me to do when I'm alone. You sir, are made of win. Win and delicious hotsauce.
  14. I collect all sorts of random trinkets and figures, especially related to stuff I like. So to me it's just an extension of that. I like collecting things because it makes my rooms more interesting to look at, shows my taste in stuff off, and I like the thrill of hunting down various things. I almost never buy stuff online, because finding them in real life is part of the thrill. Of course, I've broken that rule a few times, if it was something I really wanted, and the likelihood of my finding it in real life was pretty much nil. Which is why I'm glad the Asda near me has finally started stocking MLP figures! I grabbed the four-pack of Twilight, Rarity, Pinkie and Rainbow Dash, and a couple of blind bags which turned out to be glow-in-the-dark Twilight and Sprinkle Stripe. Who I'd never heard of, but sounds delicious.
  15. Ahhh MST3K. I don't know that I can pick a favourite. Though I will second Manos as a classic. I like all the cast combinations, but yeah, early days are the best. Ladies and gentlemen... Manos; the Hands of Fate.
